I just noticed, in your HHStargazers AU no one has pupils - except for Alastor and, if she's canon, Carmilla. Does that mean slit pupils are a sign of a demon in disguise?

Good eye! 👈👈👀 (Pun unintended.) Though I don't really plan for this trait to be repeatedly shared amongst the disguised demons. Mostly to not limit my designs to an obvious tell. But the slit pupils were indeed intentional flaws I added in for those two in particular. Because according to MY headcanon, both angels and demons are beings beyond human comprehension. Thus, it's only to be expected that even when they TRY to fit in, they'll be unable to keep EVERY aspect of their uncanny nature concealed. At best, they're imperfect imitations of what "normal" should be. It just so happens that in my AU, angels have a much easier time concealing most of their little quirks and oddities away than the sinners for my own reasons and as for WHY no one ever grew suspicious of the eye thing, it's because Charlie's curiosity could be easily curved. While for Lucius to point this out, he'll have to admit that he's been staring at Alastor's eyes a lot whenever he gets close enough to drown in the depths of his gaze and- EHEM!!! Which he's NEVER done, mind you! AhahaHAH- What slit pupils??? Never noticed those before. Nuh-uh. NO siree. NOPE! Lucius is normally so, SO normal about Alastors VERY much normal eyes in a TOTALLY normal amount of normal. A-ANYWAAAYS!!! Lucius would also be a hypocrite if he was bothered by them considering his own occupation and the people he's usually surrounded by (yet to be revealed). As for the other humans, Alastor doesn't care enough about their opinions for it to be a threat to him and people often just avoid the guy unnerving them with his creepy ass stare. So it's all good! Though to repeat what I answered for those who may also benefit from it, NEVER apologize for your curiosity! I enjoy engaging with you guys and it shows your interest! ^v^ Also, yes. Radioapple is very much a thing in my AU alongside Chaggie. This is a Chaggie & Radioapple centric project which is why I gave it the plural name #HHStargazersAU as it pertains to BOTH Vaggie & Alastor watching over their respective MorningSTARS. It just so happens that Chaggie is already established (though I have plans for them still) despite Radioapple having met earlier than the girls did in my story. Mostly because they're emotionally constipated old men who are frankly quite shit at dealing with their emotions. So no. They're not yet dating in my AU. Honestly if I could skip the world building altogether just to focus on our ships, I would, but that undermines the whole point of making an AU when I could just as well post the same one shot fluffs I usually do and I also believe the dynamics I had in mind will suffer without it. Alas, heavy is the head that wears the crown and mine is too full of ideas to let you all down. Just hang in there, guys! Working on the next part of my #HHStargazersAU. Making progress, but not for a comic this time. Just some much needed world building coupled with some art to help your imaginations! It's always so much better than just reading a list of ideas, I think. Speaking of a list, I've been contemplating if I should post SOME of the upcoming storylines as a preview to look forward to. Like just their titles (though be warned, some may still undergo changes while I'm editing).

Enchanting as always: Carmilla~!

Human disguised Carmilla Carmine with her hair up and down in the style of my #HHStargazersAU! She doesn't play a major role or anything, nor will I focus much on the other Overlords. I'll mostly keep it between Chaggie & Radioapple, but @softholly made me curious about what Camilla would look like if I were to draw her in my story. I got the curly haired idea from one of her daughters. As for WHY she would be disguised as a human if we were to see her in my AU... Surely you didn't think Vaggie & Alastor are the ONLY angelic/demonic entities roaming the Earth now, did you? =) Question is, why are any of these powerful beings on the mortal realm to begin with? Guess we'll later find out~! XD -Bubbly💙

OML I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR ART STYLE!!! I have soo many questions about it so this may be a bit long lol and you don't have to answer these if you don't wanna. What app do you use to make your art?? and also how do you get the lineart to have that cool like almost glitch affect? and also your colors and shading are just AJHAJSH *chef's kiss* like how do you make it like that?? Anyways thats all my badgering for now. (also i love your stargazers au its so intersting!!)

Thank you so much! ^v^ It always makes me very happy to hear about people's thoughts on my art because it helps me improve as well as motivate me to make more! I smiled so much at this! So tell me about them all you like! XD (God knows I'm just as prone to rambling for longer lol) And OFC I'll answer everything the best I can!

To start with, I just use Ibis paint. YeP. The FREE beginner friendly drawing app! Tho I do have access to Adobe, I still prefer the simple format of Ibis. Because I've always been set to prove its not about the tools, but your skill when it comes to art! >=D

For the glitch effect, I'm pretty sure other apps also have something similar, but for Ibis Paint, they have glitch filters you can adjust to your liking and many more! I encourage you to play around and find what suits you best. It's a lot of fun and art is to be enjoyed!

As for my coloring, specifically the lighting and the shadows? I mastered it by playing around with the settings of the app. Testing each one. Specially the blending modes available to most art apps.

But if you wanna know how I choose my colors in general, I tend to limit myself with one or 3 colors in mind and use those as my guide. To make sure that no matter how vibrant or over saturated I make my art (as that's usually my favorite type of aesthetic) it won't be too messy with every color of the rainbow fighting for your attention instead of allowing you to see the whole. Too much of everything can be a bad thing. So while there's no limit to imagination and creativity, limits actually HELP force creativity to find new ways pass said limits.

Instead of just going for it and color whatever, I could first make note of what I'm trying to achive. Let's say a certain mood. If I want to color something that feels romantic, I'll use mostly pinks, reds, and purples. With just a hint of yellow for the pop of color but never too much. It's important to balance it. But while I wholeheartedly encourage you to experiment for yourself, challenging your skills by setting limits can train your brain to work with the colors you do have no matter how clashing they first appear like reds to greens and orange with blues and so forth. I hope this helps! Though this is just a fraction of my thought process when it comes to color coordinating, if you really have more questions in mind or a personal piece you'd like my opinion on, maybe even a drawing of mine you wanna ask something specific about, you're all free to DM me! Headcanon: Lucifer visits Earth every decade or so as a part of his job as the ruler of Hell. He does it to learn about new sins as "subtly" as he could.

Lucifer: What is ray-sings-sims? Raising-sims? Raisins? Rain-Race-sin? R-Racisms? YES! That! Is it the one where people hate on the opposite sex for absolutely no reason even though humans were all made of the same cosmic dust?

Black woman: (Looking amused at the most stereotypical rich white guy she's ever met asking about sexism and racism.)

Lucifer: Yeah. This cocaine thing is doing nothing for me. I don't really get it, but this is a sin too. So marking that off the list! Thanks for letting me have a go at this, uh, Mr. Dealer? That's your last name, right? Oh man. I'm really bad at remembering names, but have this as a token of my appreciation. (Gives him a thousand dollars which is basically worth even more at the time.)

Drug dealer: (Gobsmacked the guy was still able to keep walking after practically inhaling every drug in existence back then.)

Lucifer: So this, um, cult thing? How did it get assigned to our department again? It sounds just like what Heaven does to me. Huh. Ah well. I guess I'll just roll with it like everyone else here. (Shrugs.) Yay, cult! Sooo do I get to keep the robe? It's kinda comfy- Aw wait there's murder? One died a-and another... Oh... OH... Ooooh boy. Oof. Yikes... So this means I can DEFINITELY keep the robe, right?

Lucifer: Ah yes. Burning the witch. Time to list down all the sorry souls who threw their life into the flame by believing in the occult arts. (Lists down everyone in the crowd who burned said "witch.") And as for Ms. Agnes The Witch here... Hmm. Well, that's for Heaven to worry about! Toodles~! Or, uh, Tickety-Boo!

(Needless to say, dear Luci has been an accidental charmer back on Earth. ^v^ Specially to sinners and people who were just unjustly treated during those times. He just had to see what every sin was for himself and try them out from time to time, but he didn't know he's been perceived as acting with the manners and traditions he gathered from the LAST decade he was on Earth so to everyone who's long gone pass those times, he comes off as a polite old-school rich white man. Naive yet surprisingly non-judgemental.)

My take on human Chaggie & Radioapple's color scheme! Yes. I headcanon the Magnes as beautiful blondes with just as beautiful brown eyes. Because there's no WAY warm red & yellows translate to cool baby blues! If anything, Vaggie's eyes would be the lighter shade. (At least in my AU.) Because her canon eyes are white and I think the dark skin contrast nicely with blue. As for Alastor's green... Look. Give me a chance! I swear I can later explain it through lore!

As for their clothes, I just chose hell's red for Charline, heavenly hues for Vaggie, earthy colors for Alastor to balance the green (with some white rather than black to show his employment under the Magnes), and pastels for Lucius (though out of everyone in my story, he may undergo the most palette switches. Just saying).

Spoiler for my recent comic update: As you can see, Vaggie & Alastor's human disguises aren't perfect. Thus some parts of their hair remain unchanged. Vaggie's ineffable white bangs and Alastor's brown-passing too-vibrant red hair (which mind you, was a difficult balance to achieve. Specially to match the greens-) still ever so distinct. People think they dyed it, but I assure you, it's all natural~! Along with their near supernatural ability to charm. Lol. -Bubbly💙
