Magic School Bus AU. Gojo as Ms. Frizzle, who takes his kids on dangerous field trips on a whim. The higher ups have been trying to get him fired for years now. Nanami as the boring strict math teacher who's as interesting as a brick until their classes do a joint field trip and the kids realize he's actually incredibly cool. Gojo's been saying it for ages but no one believed him. This set of children are the only set in the entire school to know this. None of the other children believe that Nanami is interesting. Nanami subs for Gojo for one day (aka a epic field trip) and Gojo comes back to find out he's been replaced as favorite teacher

MSB AU

ok so i took like a month break from tumblr because my interests were eh on things, but I'm here to show some concepts for one of m current interests, MSB (magic school bus) FRIZZ:

I think a lot of my designing came into terms of a lot of Frizz's wrinkling due to how much she smiled, while "smile marks" are frowned upon i think frizz is utterly joyed by them

I TRIED MY BEST TO BASE IT OFF the little images i had of her from toypatch's doodles that i was given while giving her some twinge of design not shown like frizz's contrasting ginger and grey hair

im considering adding scars around in some areas but not in an edgy sense but the fact that this girl has faced so many mishaps she IS NOT THE UNSCATHED LORD i dont even think they'd be traumatizing she'd patch them up and then see the scar and b like "oh lol" and then go on with her day or something

BONESY V

When I created Bonesy, I had little idea for Bonesy. My main ideas, being that like Frizz, Bonesy had constant smile marks. Within the MSB franchise, its practically canon that Bonesy is trans ("oh its a character change" die), and so I added some features along with some of my hc personality. Bonesy has always had self inserting within me because I resonated with bonesy the first time I watched the episode with bonesy. I always hced Bonesy with AUDHD, with myself having it, Im often forgetful of things, and which I projected Bonesy to have the same lifestyle, almost charmingly forgetful. The idea is that bonesy forgets half of the time to take her estrogen leaving her with this reoccurring mustache that pops up through weeks and months at a time but I don't think Bonesy has the effort to shave it. I also think that Bonesy has kept the same outfit over the years, considering its her work uniform, so that being said bonesy's outfit hasn't changed over the years. Although I think off duty Bonesy wears a lot of more comfortable clothes like Pajama pants or something like that considering they're near retirement. I think she finds herself majority of the time relaxing with Frizz and Molly (next character in my list.) MOLLY V

I had every idea for Molly, its just not as obvious as you're seeing molly. Considering Molly is a singer, I took the mentality that some actors/singers has this effort to constantly look young and pretty and so I put it with Molly's design. I kept everything relatively the same since considering I don't think there's a lot of things Molly would change about herself in 10 or so years, and so molly remains mostly the same, the only change being internal, like plastic surgery or some unhealthy habits.

After 30 hours and Procreate crashing 17 times. It. Is. Here. The official character designs for “The Amazing Digital School Bus” AU. Caine and Bubble will be posted later, I just didn’t want to keep y’all waiting any longer for the main cast (plus I was super excited to debut this)! This was an absolute labor of love, and I had so much fun from the beginning to the end! Thank y’all so much for your patience!

P.S. Anyone who can guess what the thing on the right side of Zooble’s head is gets Jax’s toenail clippings.

Someone has probably already said this before but, rock chips away when the surf crashes against it enough. Eventually it erodes and molds into something new.

And the IC crashed against Nesta until eventually she eroded away into what they wanted.

Tbh I think Nesta and the Valkyries are more like the surf itself. Can be beautiful, calm and welcoming. But also powerful, indestructible and will drown anything that tries to tame it.

Since Mme. Bustier is a literature/history teacher, the school bus, dubbed Bus, takes them back and forward through time, transforms into different vehicles based on the time period, and she wears all sorts of outfits and jewelry with prints and designs inspired by famous historical moments through time

Also, she has a pet chameleon

Mme. Bustier: *Steps into the classroom in a flourish while wearing an Edgar Allen Poe inspired dress* Good morning, everyone!

Marinette: Mme. Bustier, I love that calligraphy-print scarf.

Mme. Bustier: … What scarf?

Nathaniel: *Unwraps himself from around her neck* ‘Sup?

Nathaniel dresses just as eccentrically as his mother, and each of the prints on their outfits give hints for what the field trip shall entail

Nino: Well. We’re all dead.

Kim: Why do you say that?

Nino: *Points to the Mount Vesuvius embroidery on the back of Nathaniel’s jacket*

Kim: Oh… Yeah, we’re dead.

People swear they’ve seen the embroidery and prints on their outfits move

Marinette is living for the quirky outfits, but not so much almost getting nearly boiled alive during one of their field trips

Adrien, however, is loving every second of it and may or may not be slipping field trip ideas into the suggestion box… Like, fifty a week

Mme. Bustier has been teaching Nathaniel how to drive Bus ever since he was five

Nathaniel: Mom! Can I drive?

Mme. Bustier: Sweetie… Knock yourself out!

Nathaniel: Yay! I’m driving them straight to 1492 and yelling, “I see land!” before that bitch, Columbus.

Alya: So, is this normal for you guys?

Juleka: You have no idea.

He loves the Bus and treats them better than his own friends

Alix is used to Nathaniel’s eccentrics and just goes along with all of his theatrics and crazy outfits

Marc may or may not have simped for Nathaniel when he walked in wearing a Grimm’s Fairytales-inspired outfit

Don’t tell anyone, but when Mme. Bustier is out sick for a day, she leaves Nathaniel in charge

Nathaniel: Okay! All in favor of staying in class and doing a boring test, raise your hand.

Max: *Raises his hand*

WNathaniel: All in favor of going back in time to Scotland and seeing if the Loch Ness Monster is real, raise your hand!

Everyone else: *Raising their hands*

Nathaniel: It’s unanimous!

Max: No, it’s not!

Magic School Bus kids as Moominvalley characters? It’s more likely than you think!

So far, I’ve only illustrated Carlos and Phoebe (both mumriks, AKA Snufkin’s species.) But I will draw the other kids as soon as I figure out what creatures they are.

Notes:

Carlos:

Eldest of three kits.

Collects rocks for a hobby (one of his friends, a Hemulen, got him into it.)

The blue jacket he wears is from his father. As such, it’s very sentimental to him.

A bit more outgoing than your average mumrik, but he still values his alone time.

Phoebe:

Her design is based more on a red fox than a cat.

Family recently moved to Moominvalley.

Avid bird-watcher and plant enthusiast.

A bit shy.

MSB/WK Post-Canon AU thingie:

Me: *sees all of the Wild Kratts AUs*

Also me: well, I like Wild Kratts and Magic School Bus… I MUST JOIN THE BANDWAGON!

So with my recent look at both MSB and Wild Kratts, I think it’s time for me to make an AU for both shows. Now this is post-canon, so the kids are in high school and that allows for some darker moments. So without further ado… some details:

-the gang and Janet are in the 10th grade. Evan and Mikey are in the 9th grade

-Ms. Frizzle and Liz are still around and are still in Walkerville Elementary.

-The Wild Kratts team are still together

-The villains’ latest and grandest scheme is to turn Walkerville Elementary into their own mall where they used the animals captured for their own evil purposes.

-While the gang are all still together and have relatively successful lives in high school, it has been 5 years since 4th grade ended, and as such, the field trips are seen more as just regular field trips. Even Mikey and Janet (who did go on some of the field trips) have the foggy memories of what happened in 4th grade. All of this is because of Zach has rewritten their memories with his invention

-The truth is revealed when the gang realized the demolishment of Walkerville Elementary, and re-unite with Ms. Frizzle and the Wild Kratts Team.

-Of course the memories of the gang are restored (Janet and Mikey got theirs back first since they have been in less field trips than the gang), but they have to overcome some character flaw within them to get back the memories. Here they are for the gang:

Ralphie: Due to the stresses of being the best player of the baseball team, it lead to him almost giving up the sport after having to get better grades.

Phoebe: While she has overcome her new girl shyness, the villains have caused her to go berserk, and as such, she has to control that anger.

Keesha: Her perfectionist due to being president of the drama club has lead her into expecting things to go her way (include all of her dates with Ralphie)

Carlos: He starts to have doubts of his big brother protectiveness, and is worried about Mikey and Phoebe all the time (and he doesn’t say his signature puns)

Tim: Likely having a creative slump and even facing the fact that his art (while pretty good) might not be appreciated by his fellow art club members

Wanda: Pretty much became a porcelain doll due to her mom, and as such has to abandon her own identity as a tomboy (even giving up her hobby of scuba diving and her dreams of becoming a pilot).

DA: Her status as president of the astronomy club, and class president of the 10th grade has started to stress her out, and she’s feeling the cracks of it.

Arnold: He has to deal with all of the anxiety he has, and even Janet starts to notice he’s having more panic attacks than in 4th grade.

Of course, the gang overcomes those hurdles, and are able to remember the good times again. And that allows them to use their Creature Power Suits one last time to save their school. And after that event, the gang have returned to who they were when they were kids… but with more maturity.

-Janet actually becomes nicer to the gang (le gasp! Character development?!)

-Ships involved: Keesha/Ralphie, Arnold/Phoebe, Carlos/DA, Carlos/Tim, DA/Wanda.

Soooooo I may or may not be drawing character design art for The Amazing Digital School Bus AU, that silly little idea I had over a week ago actually sounded pretty fun to make into a itty bitty side thing.
