So you forego any hostilities, instead following him wherever he may go.

It felt strange being out of the water, but you got used to it quickly.

Despite your colossal size you can easily phase through surfaces and make yourself disappear if need be.

You exist more as an intimidator than a monster who eats divers.

The demon hipster chicks aren't all that crazy about you (not just bc your element is water and theirs is fire, but also bc you were getting more attention from their master now), although they'll work alongside you if you gotta protect him.

Anytime Matthew rolls up to a LO7EE meeting, he likes showing you off and saying "this is [y/n] and they're gonna totally crush Ramona's crush".

Meanwhile everyone else is fucking horrified bc where the hell did the "first boss" get such a powerful beast as a weapon????

If Gideon ever says anything to insinuate experimenting on you or keeping you for himself, Matthew's ready to throw hands IMMEDIATELY.

He doesn't get very far though as you often intervene, assuring them all that you're nobody's trophy or weapon.

But you ARE his voice of reason, however.

The demon chicks certainly aren't.

There's a beautiful quote that says, "Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you," and I agree with it completely. I think in the end it's all about how you treat others, esp service workers, minorities or the elderly. Like, just be kind (the world is already bad enough as it is 🙃) and respect others choices. Also, how someone treats animals usually shows a lot about them imo.

Can't think of something else, but I just learned that if you buy or reap tomatoes and want to keep them fresh for long, you should leave the stalks in - but if already removed, you can use a piece of sticky tape where it was attached, this will prolong shelf life 🫵 Very important piece of information 💅 (Also, yes I'm at that age where I'm officially excited about fresh tomatoes)

Okay, so when I was a kid I was obsessed with snakes (still love them, there's something so majestic about snakes) and would stare at pictures of the bigger ones in fascination, so ofc I have to say that my favorite extinct animal is the Titanoboa - like imagine if that kind of animal would still exist?? Like, we are scared of deep sea creatures, but man...what if there was a truly giant snake - we'd all be screwed

turquoise: favorite sea animal? this is actually such a hard question?? how do i even make that choice! sea animals are all either like some weird sci-fi freak of nature/eldritch horror being that absolutely should not exist, OR the most majestic being you’ve ever seen--with no middle ground between those two extremes; regardless, all sea creatures are super fucking cool. BUT ANYWAYS FOR NOW I WILL SAY I LOVE DOLPHINS, SEA TURTLES, AND SEA HORSES. BEAUTIFUL.

Ok here’s the deal. i..... barely watch a lot of youtube nowadays? only bc lately it’s super hard for youtube videos to retain my focus and idk why. but i’m a sucker for video essays, so i love love hbomberguy, and lindsay ellis makes great videos, too (love her content, but i def find myself disagreeing w her about a lot of her more general opinions and things like that shjshdj). jenna marbles made my go-to comfort videos lol--her vids are some of the few i can watch at literally any moment. they’re so mindless yet authentic that it feels like it takes less brain energy to watch? so i always find her stuff very calming. banana: favorite horror movies?

Boof, huge confession time: I’m a BIG PISSBABY COWARDMAN, and I can’t really handle horror in any capacity when I can’t 1) turn down the volume or 2) look away and block everything out when I get scared. It’s so weird to me, because I LOVE the idea of horror, but I work myself up so damn much whenever I think a jumpscare is coming that the old anxiety goes Big Up. 😔 It’s less the content of any given horror movie that frightens me, and more the fact that I know I’m going to get jumpscared that does it.

So that all being said, the number of horror films I’ve seen can probably be counted on one hand LOL. But I think the original Alien might take the cake for this one for me. 🤔

I’m back with a new poem I am absolutely o b s e s s i n g over so you already knowwww I got some collages primed for you!!

“The bark leaps love-fraught from the land; the sea

Lies calm before the us. Many an isle is there,

Clad with soft verdure; many a stately tree

uplifts its leafy branches through the air...

White cloudlets speck the golden atmosphere,” (stnza 3)

- Okay, like honestly this sounds like heaven. Flowing blissfully down a river, weaving in and out of lucious islands, god, I hate the snow lmao. 

“Red walls of granite rise on either hand,

Rugged and smooth; a proud young eagle soars

Above the stately evergreens, that stand

Like watchful sentinels on these God-built towers;

And near yon beds of many-coloured flowers

Browse two majestic deer, ad at their side  

A spotted fawn innocently cowers;” (stnza 6)

- even more redonkulusly amazing scenery, ugh, Idk where everyone else is but its cold as heck and I hate the snow. I wanna be in whatever alternate timeline the narrator is in rn. 

Okay so obviously a big theme of this poem is imagery, and I am absofruitly LIVING for it, cause just, ugh beauty. I feel like I’m actually experiencing the beauty of nature instead of, yknow, slumping under my 4 blankets neglecting my driveway full of snow that needs t be shoveled lol.

Loving the integration of mythology in this, and he further implements these concepts by alluding to Horae the Goddess of Seasons (line 77) and Spirit-Mars (110).

Overall I think it’s super dope how Sangster like, breathes in all this old, established ideas into his poem like he’s adding a little spice to Canada’s history Like he even alludes to Shakespeare (tempest) and he’s like, old. I think even the focus on nature as a whole, like, the islands, the sea, mother nature really adds to the point he’s trying to get to. All these references to rich history adds a base to the “new” history of Canada. I don’t even know if this was intentional, but I also really liked how within the descriptions of like walls of granite, numerous islands, there's also that contrast a young eagle, and a baby deer being innocent and all this is just a stanza or so before the mention of all these mythological creatures. Idk, I’m just really seeing the beauty of contrasting Canada’s newness and the old spirit trying to be implemented :)

Putting down your controller you raced down the stairs excited to see what he got. As you reached the bottom you saw a cage sitting in the middle of your living room.

“What’s in the cage?” You asked.

“Him!” Genji turned around a grey ball of fluff in his hands.

You were confused until two little ears popped up. Two dark brown eyes met yours and you fell in love.

“Can I hold him?” You asked. Suddenly you had a little bundle fluff in your hands, “Does he have a name?”

“No, have anything in mind?”

You thought for a second, “How do you say cloud in Japanese?”

“Kumo,” he chuckled.

“Then Kumo it is!”

The two of you had talked about getting two koi fish for a while. Hanzo had always found them to be calming and you thought they were absolutely majestic.

Time passed and you were watching them swim around in your living room where you just had a tank installed. “They truly are amazing,” Hanzo stated.

“They need names.” You said flatly hypnotized by the two creatures.

“Oh, well what about Peace and Harmony?”

“No, too plain.”

“North and South?”

“They’re fish not compasses.”

“Well do you have anything better?”

“Well the one looks like a cow so, Sea Cow for that one. I’m not too sure about the other one though.”

You both stared at the fish. It was bright yellow a reflected light beautifully.

“How about Sunshine?” The archer asked.

“Sea Cow and Sunshine huh,” you thought for a moment, “What an unlikely pair. I love it.”

Your one year anniversary was coming up and you both wanted to take your relationship a step further. So getting a pet was perfect.

After talking about it you two thought a cat was perfect (lol purfect… I’ll go home).

You walked into the adoption center and were filled with excitement. “Look at them they’re so cute!” Grabbing Lucio’s hand you started to look at and play with the cats. As time went by the two of you got separated. None of the cats were connecting with you the way you hoped.

“Hey babe, look at this one!” Your boyfriend exclaimed holding a black and white striped cat.

“Awe she looks like a piano,” you swooned.

“That’s what I was thinking. So what do you think?”

“We can get her under one condition; we call her Jazzy.”

“Oh that’s amazing! Welcome the the family Jazzy.”

Anyway I answered your travel question here but I wanted to give the headcanons their own post so. But I mean, spoiler alert: I’m bad at crack. CRACK BAD, ANGST GOOD. 3edgy5u 

DANIEL KILLED ARMAND’S GOLDFISH

Armand had an aquarium phase for a while, and he was really excited to see bizarre & majestic sea creatures up close. He really wants to start buying all types of tanks and tropical fish to keep at home but he has doubts about Daniel’s mental health and ability to care for living things during the day when he can’t be there, so he decided to start small with a goldfish, kinda like how you’d get a little kid a goldfish, like, HERE TRY NOT TO KILL IT. He names it Nepra and loves staring at her for hours, and Daniel thinks it’s another dorky weird thing that Armand does but he secretly loves it cause it lets him get in some extra sleep.

I shared this HC with the Discord chat once and @madshelley also added that Daniel accidentally killed her, and kept replacing her. He hopes Armand won’t notice cause it’s just a fucking goldfish but Armand knows the whole time, both from reading Daniel’s thoughts and because he knew every speckle and scale on Nepra and he can just fucking tell.

He doesn’t say anything, though, because Nepra’s tiny little life reminds him of Daniel’s tiny little life, and he finds the whole thing sort of endearing, and he appreciates that Daniel is trying to protect him in some small way and wants him to feel like he can.

LITERAL CRACK LOL

So Armand really enjoys tasting booze and drugs out of Daniel’s blood, and like drinking drugged blood is nothing new for any of the vampires cause they’ve drained drunk & stoned people so many times, but there’s the sort of spiritual bond that comes from doing it WITH Daniel, and the difference it makes in the transfer of thoughts and emotions through he bond that really does it for him, and he has the mental/psychic strength to sort of put the high on the back burner when he needs to, but when he’s with Daniel he chooses to bask in it and experience it, and he’s amazed at all the hidden parts of his brain that turn back on, and he loves sharing his visions back to Daniel to show him. But then Daniel gets freaked out, cause he’s already tripping balls and seeing ENOUGH shit and getting glimpses of ARMAND’S hallucinations is like, TOO FUCKING MUCH and he’s always gotta be like “dude staahp seriously”.

At first this all keeps happening on accident cause Daniel is always drunk and/or high anyway, but in the way that Armand wants Daniel to eat all kinds of different food and fuck all different kinds of people he starts wanting to see all the different types of drugs. What does this one do! What does that one do! What if we mix these two! What if we do them first thing when you wake up! What if we take them and go to the opera! He’s very much the ~enhancement smoker~ type.

He asks if Daniel has any hard limits of what he WON’T do, and the line he draws is needles (and mostly because he’s scared of them), and Armand is convinced that if Daniel ever starts to OD or anything that the Blood will bring him right back and he can take care of it. He also figures out how to spellbind Daniel if he ever needs a tripsit. They do crack a couple times but Daniel doesn’t really like it cause he feels like they burn through a whole eightball in like two hours and it isn’t the same recreational ritual as taking your time blowing lines.

ARMAND’S HIDEOUS 80′S FASHION SENSE

Armand is a total loser for bad fashion trends, and Daniel sees them coming like a mile away, he’s very savvy to the types of outfits that you’ll be mortified by when you see pictures of yourself in ten years. His usual attire is pretty classic and not too flashy (lots of denim and flannel and band t-shirts) but now and then Armand buys him the absolutely most fucking hideous 1980’s abominations. And it’s like, he wants to be nice? And wear some of them anyway? So that Armand isn’t insulted? But he makes excuses to change out of them if they’re going to be in public. I’m talking like, super dumb looking hightops, and just the most awful polyester windbreakers with terrible 80’s patterns with like zigzags and flamingos and shit, and parachute pants, and huge tacky necklaces.

And again yknow Armand always KNOWS how Daniel really feels, and he keeps it close to the chest as a play he can make later. So when they’re in the middle of an argument or something and Armand is feeling extra petty he’ll spellbind Daniel and exert his ~influence~ to get him to think that these are the most amazing articles, that he looks fantastic, and Armand makes sure to take lots of Polaroids all night to document it.

He still has them, he keeps them safe. Years go by where he isn’t sure what will happen with Daniel—if he’ll ever recover, if they’ll ever restore their relationship, if he’ll ever even SEE the boy again—and at first it seemed like something he kept for collateral and blackmail purposes, thinking it would be hilarious to break them out one day, but at some point he realizes he takes them out to stare at them way too often, and it isn’t funny anymore.

THE NIGHT ISLAND SANDS GOLF COURSE

There’s a golf course on Night Island, and Armand thinks it’s hysterical to make Daniel drive the golf carts around. Playing at night is a little useless cause Daniel can’t see shit, but Armand keeps trying, and he keeps like wailing the balls into oblivion and it takes a lot of practice to learn how to be gentle and not play like an animal. He’s broken a lot of windows but it’s okay cause he owns the place so whatever.

iMESSAGE WITH THE VAMPIRE

So at some point Armand starts having little communications with Marius here and there and he’s getting updates that Daniel is doing a lot better and has started leaving the house and hunting on his own and etc etc. He’s gone to visit them in Rio a couple times but it’s been very quick visits and he always makes excuses that he has to get back to New York because he isn’t sure he’s ready and doesn’t really know what to do. But he has Daniel’s cell phone number, and since they can’t communicate via Mind Gift he thinks maybe it’s a nice way to reach out. Some months go by where he opens the contact in his phone but doesn’t hit the call button, and a few times where he types out text messages and can’t send them.

BUT THEN one night he gets a text from Daniel, and it’s just totally out of the blue, he doesn’t even say “Hey” or “Hi, it’s Daniel” or an “I miss you” or a “Can we talk?” it’s just straight up “DID YOU SEE THEY’RE REMAKING FRIGHT NIGHT!!!!!!!” and Armand is like “NO?” and Daniel’s going “YOU KNOW I’M REALLY SICK OF THESE REMAKES THIS IS JUST NOT GOING TO END WELL AND THIS MOVIE AINT SHIT WITHOUT BRAD FIEDEL’S THROBBING SCORE” and Armand is like “We should go see it 👀" and Daniel is like “👌🏻👌🏻🔥🔥🍆💦⚰️⚰️⚰️”

The big conversation is kinda hanging over for some day, like the whole “hey sorry I wasn’t the best Maker” and “I didn’t trust myself to take care of you when you lost it” and “I should’ve come to let you know I wasn’t really dead after I tried to kill myself” conversation they need to have, but it’s fine cause they have all the time in the world to have it and it feels so nice to have some of their normal banter back in his life and he’s not ready to ruin the moment just yet. So it starts with just texting, and then Daniel starts sending him memes all the time—he LOVES sending scumbag baby boomer memes like “lol look it’s Marius”, and it’s ironic because Daniel actually IS a baby boomer—and then he keeps sending bad Onion headlines about millennials and going “lol look it’s marius HAHA MILLENNIALS GET IT”.

He also sends a lot of Snapchats—Armand doesn’t really get Snapchat but Benji downloads it for him and Daniel is his only friend on there, and he doesn’t realize that it tells Daniel every time he screenshots one of Daniel’s selfies, especially the ones with the cute filters. The little flower crowns and puppy faces and shit. He saves all of them. He even saves the ones of Marius that Daniel sends sometimes. Marius doesn’t seem to notice that there’s filters going on, he just plays along with the little videos. He can hear Daniel’s voice behind the camera going “Marius open your mouth!” and then he giggles at the filter and Marius is totally lost.

(There were some nightmare abominations with FaceApp, too, but Armand deleted those.)

THE GOOD NEWS is that in the 90’s when Daniel was off playing with train sets and Armand was doing whatever, AQUARIUM TECH GOT SUPER LIT so one night Armand wakes up to a bunch of texts and pictures about L’Aquarium Barcelona, and they decided to go meet up there, and Daniel still sucks at unlocking stuff so Armand breaks them in at night, and they walk around under the tunnel and hold hands and look at the sharks and Daniel’s sorta like “is this a date?” and Armand is like “Ya.”  And Daniel’s like “It’s cute that you still like fish” and Armand is like “I know that you killed Nepra.”

Hello, dear! A little fae told me that you live in NJ. I do as well! I wanted to ask for your recommendations on magical places to go/see in the NJ/NY area! I have a day of next Monday and my friend who i'm chilling with said she'll go anywhere I want and I'm so overwhelmed at the possibility! I normally work, so this is a rare opportunity that I cannot pass up! I'd really appreciate the suggestions! ~May good energies surround you!~

I have mentioned a number of times on this blog that I live in NJ! That’s cool you live here too, NJ is pretty special in it’s own way!

For NJ there are tons of cool abandoned places that feel like a strange liminal space. NJ is notorious for legends of strange creatures living in these spaces so like whether or not you believe in that be careful cause that tends to attract a sketchy type of crowd. In a natural reservation by my house for example it’s advised people don’t go alone cause weird people do strange rituals there and malicious energy shit cause they thrive off those type of sinister legends. It’s also like Fort Tyron in NYC which is my favorite park ever, it’s INTENSE with magical energy, ghosts and entities but there’s some parts of the park that has a very dense and somewhat negative vibe and you don’t want to linger there for too long. It’s still an incredible place though!

So NJ has A lot of abandoned places as you may know. These abandoned places have tons of energy and history to them and are pretty magical in their own way. I will link some sites to them too.

Abandoned Railroad station-Like there are a million abandoned NJ railroad graveyards and stations but this one might be easier for you to access. It’s by Jersey City. Be careful that some abandoned places are not protected by some law cause sometimes you can end up trespassing and you don’t want police to be all up in your grill

Ashbury Park-Honestly my favorite beach in the north east. It’s beautiful, clean and very classy NJ Americana with all the wonderful boardwalk treats like saltwater taffy and orange creamsicle soft serve, but it has a lot of fascinating energy too, the nicest waves and sea shells and sand. They also have a Paranormal museum and shop that holds tours there and a lot of abandoned shit like shipwrecks a haunted paramount theatre and Asbury Lanes. Great to go for a summer day trip!

Clifton’s Gates of Hell-I’m not far from Clifton but this place is incredibly dangerous. I’m just letting you know about it since you asked but its like.. dangerous.. lol. A lot of kids from my high school would come here for the thrill but would leave kind of disturbed. Like if the NJ devil is real he would be chillin here. It’s like a series of storm drains and there has been cults doing weird magic inside. I would suggest you go with someone and be armed or something but also this is totally a bad idea and like how horror films start. A lot of kids in my school knew about weird haunted abandoned places in NJ like there is an abandoned asylum that still has electric chairs intact and an abandoned mansion but the stories they told always sounded really creepy and really dangerous. Like aside from being very empathetic and probably feeling the trauma the ghosts went through their waking lives there, I am moreso always concerned about living people and what they’re capable of. I think it’s cool to know about The Gates of Hell but I am giving you a long ass disclaimer about going there haha. (btw the asylum was called Greystone Psychiatric Hospital in case you are interested lol. My friends said that they still have medical records and everything in tact. Its like they had to evacuate one day and never cleaned up anything). Also like mentioned above if you do go- I think at least for Greystone it’s a halfass protected historical site. Halfass meaning it has a cheap metal chain fence around it but police might be snooping around so you want to be careful because I am assuming that for the hospital you could be trespassing if you enter anyway. (Clifton Gates I don’t think it’s protected at all)

Pine Barrens-Also for more creepy places I would suggest you should avoid but should know about are Pine Barrens. I feel like everyone that needs to know anything witch-history related and paranormal and weird about NJ should know about Pine Barrens. Like Pine Barrens is the heart of the bizarre of this state lol. Supposedly witches used to live there on some long ago colony and they summoned or gave birth to The Jersey Devil that still lingers in this land. That’s basically where the beast was born. The Pine Barrens is very ‘The Blair Witch Project’ in vibe. People go there and leave weird shit on purpose. Witches probably go there and do some dank magic. It’s a giant swamp so the energy is kind of dank anyway.

Even though Weird NJ might seem like a super corny and kitschy magazine, in it’s very childishness presentation it kind of does hold a guide to the paranormal and bizarre of the state. It’s cute in a goosebumps-ish way where most people wouldn’t take the magazine seriously but if you really go on the adventures it suggests you will probably end up on a hell ride haha.

There are also a lot of waterfalls in NJ. Like NJ is known for waterfalls. Check out this link. Also just google NJ waterfalls or top 10 waterfalls in NJ or whatever it will give you some great advice since the best are often listed everywhere but tend to be far and out of the way. 

For towns there are a few that are nice. Montclair is a beautiful artistic town. There are a lot of magical shops there too like Blu Lotus that sells a lot of magical tools and items and is beautiful. I posted a few pictures of it before. There are more magical stores up and down bloomfield ave which is where the downtown stores are centered around. There is also Parcel further up bloomfield ave that sells really nice stationary and has an Amelie, whimsical faerie-like feel. There is an incredible crystal shop also on Bloomfield Ave called Rocky’s Crystals & Minerals. There’s a new magic tool and spiritual shop further down bloomfield ave called Mystic Spirit Metaphysical Shoppe. I’ve never been there yet. If you want to hang around Bloomfield Ave in downtown Montclair I’d suggest for lunch go to Raymonds which is a super cute classic Americana restaurant that sells great Egg Creams and Burgers. That’s like their specialty don’t get anything else haha. If you are vegetarian/vegan there is a great vegan restaurant on that same street (Church ave where Blu Lotus is) and there is a smoothie acai bowl shop on that street too for dessert. Other than downtown Montclair has a lot of beautiful parks and a really nice reservation called Eagle Rock. Eagle Rock can be a little sketchy so check it out with a friend but overall its a cool place. Oh yeah and there is the Van Vleck house which is a mansion with beautiful gardens open to the public. It is MAJESTIC in the summertime. Sooo fucking gorgeous. Its worth checking out. There are wild bunnies that run across the garden too. It has a very french style to it (montclair has a large french community).

Verona also has a magical shop called Goddess in Eden. The owner used to work in Blu Lotus in Montclair but branched off into her own shop. She is wiccan and works with the fae and is often in her own head so she’s hard to kind of have a conversation with haha. The store is facing Verona park which is beautiful and has always been one of my favorite parks.

Edgewater NJ is pretty special. In that area of NJ there are a lot of Japanese Americans and there is a huge supermarket and restaurant that the area is known for that caters to Japanese culture but aside from that Edgewater has these incredible trails I discovered with an intimate partner there. There are raspberry bushes growing all over the trail and the most TRETCHEROUS FUCKING STONE STAIRS leading AS STEEP AS POSSIBLE down to the river. Its beautiful and at one point you will feel like you are in a fort or castle at some time but its kind of intense tbh.

Also Nj has the most CUTEST industrial towns along the delaware river. I have yet to explore there but I’ve been wanting to go.

Anyway for NYC there is:Manhattan- 9th street between ave 1 and A is like the most magical street in Manhattan. You have Flower Power which is a great apothecary/herb shop and the people in there are amazing. It looks like a store out of harry potter with cute green library shelves filled with herbs. Then there is Enchantments which is NYC’s oldest witchcraft shop. The staff might be kind of unwelcoming but the cats are worth it. There is also Good Beer which is a craft beer place that sells seasonal ciders and beers and is partially a bar. I think if you like beer, cider and drinking its worth checking out. There is also a vegan confectionery on that same street. There is also a crystal shop and a psychic place but I haven’t been to the psychic there. There is also a cat shelter on that block that lets you come in for free to hug and pet the cats.

Fort Tyron Park- basically 181 off the A and above. The park is a long park on the north west side of Manhattan’s island and is gorgeous. It faces the river and has a lot of rocky mountainous cliffs and hills and old stone bridges, walls and structures. It’s well known for the Cloisters which is a kind of castle built from old pieces of old monasteries from Europe. It’s a medieval museum apart of the MET that does wine tastings in the summer and hosts a renaissance fair. There are parts of the park that are super mysterious and can get creepy. You would have old stone stairs leading down into an overgrown growth of vines that grows into a forest by the foot of the stairs. You have a lot of walkways that descend into stone tunnels that are super dark in the middle. There are a lot of strange liminal spaces there. It’s relatively safe so you can be fine alone but you should be able to pick up weird vibes if something too strange is afoot. Also if you are around 181 there’s a fantastic Irish bar called Le Cheile that has this very whimsical feel and a great cider and beer selection. It would be cool to drink there after checking out the park!

North Woods Central Park-Some forest that is easier to get to and not too out of the way is the north woods on the upper left side of Central Park. It’s beautiful and intense and drowns out the whole city. You can get very much lost in it and some of the path has been devoured by the earth and overtaken by weeds and dirt. I love walking through this forest in winter. There are old brown stone troll-like bridges in there and a lot of beautiful streams everywhere. You might want to be with a partner while going through because for central manhattan it can be a bit troubling to be alone in the woods and some sketchy types threaten you. I’ve never been bothered but I try not to chance myself too much. I find the ramble safer but wayy more populated but ok to be alone in. (The ramble is a smaller woods in the more central area of central park).

Lillies by Union Square-Its not really magical, but it’s super charming and I love it, especially around christmas when they decorate the fuck out of it. It’s super whimsical and has a very old classic NYC vibe

Abracadabra-On west 19th street. It’s not that magical as it is kind of creepy, paranormal and a spooky goosebumps adventure. If you’re ever in NYC it’s worth going in and laughing at.

BrooklynOff Morgan on the L line is Catland which is Brooklyn’s witchcraft store and community. They CONSTANTLY have witchy events there, from parties to rituals to symposiums. I’m going to a discussion with a witchy friend there this Saturday to talk about Death, the afterlife, channeling spirits, ouija boards and contacting ancestors. They have parties like queer witch prom and its a very queer witch friendly space as it’s run by queer witches

I know there are definitely places in the Bronx but I honestly do not know the Bronx well enough to write a lot on it.

Governor’s Island-OHBOY HOW DID I FORGET THIS ONE, everyone knows this place cause they hold music festivals there but governor’s island is the most liminal space ass place I’ve ever been to. It’s beautiful but littered with haunted feeling houses that some artists have taken to making into even more haunted vibe art studios. Check out the HoloCenter which is an art center for laser art and holographs. Its literally like an old creepy decaying house filled with black portrait spaces that when you walk too close a fucking holograph face pops out at you. It’s super beautiful, cool and creepy tech art that for some reason never was popular enough to take off so it feels really alternative.

I hope some of these places are interesting to you! Stay safe! Especially in NJ’s more paranormal spaces they feel very Blair Witchy meaning that it’s not always so friendly so it’s good not to be alone, but of course there are a lot of wonderful places too! I hope you guys have fun!!!
