Accessibility tip:

If you want to automate your home a bit, but you don't want any "smart" tech, you can just buy remote controlled power sockets instead

They are a lot cheaper and easier to set up and use than some home automation smart tech nonsense

They don't need an app (but some models come with optional apps and there are apps that are compatible with most of these)

Many of them use the 433mhz frequency to communicate, which makes most models compatible with each other, even if they are from different manufacturers

The tech has been around for a long time and will be around for a long time to come

You don't have to put any fucking corporate listening devices like an amazon echo in your home

Models for outdoors exist as well

As cameras becomes more normalized (Sarah Bernhardt encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use cameras because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by manufacturing companies. I paint not because I want a painting but because I love the process of painting. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

Jorgen’s usually not the one in charge of assigning godchildren. There’s an entire department that weighs and classifies potentail Godkids to the right Fairy. Although it’s on strike at the moment.

So Jorgen has to do it by hand, until the union negotiations are resolved. Turns out trying to use paperclips is very hard. Itty bitty paperclips. Big muscular biceps. Not a good combo.

I've never worked in retail or fast food but I think any job that involves regularly being contactable by/in the presence of the general public is the worst

This morning I woke up at 4:30 (cause fuck me I guess) and for some reason one of my first, conscious thoughts were "What if the WAIA looks like a priest cause Wilford killed the pope", and then I spent a good 10 minutes just thinking bout that.

I eventually came to the conclusion that Warfstache did it cause he thought it worked like The Santa Clause rules where if you kill someone you become them/their status. Then, reasonably, that lead me to think he was behind the Kennedy Assassination and the Queen's death, and he's just kinda confused why he hasn't been recognized for those titles yet.

...You all agree with me don't lie.
