"Had a dream about Daisy in a field, wearing a strange cloud canopy hat and a white dress. It was unearthly bright and I could barley see her through the sun beams. I mostly talked to her though my fingers over my eyes.
We talked for a long time, but I don't remember about what. Something important. Something she wouldn't have wanted me to remember.
She floated up and up, into the sky into the clouds. Fitting into them like a puzzle piece. I felt a vast sadness. And then I woke up."

🖋️ I just finished Blooming Wallflowers and felt so sad that it ended so soon! Can we have a snippet of what happens after? are they going to continue seeing each other? will OC's daughter get to be closer to Mista Joonie? 🥺🥺 I want to see them hang out again in a less stressful time (because poor OC always stressing!). it would be cute to have Joon helping her out with the girls again. he can finally have a taste of OC's homecooked meal and she gets to make him dinner for once. that'll be sweet. I just love the concept of home date night 🥺
💌 for my love letter, I just want to say happy belated birthday 🥳 I've been following you for a long time. even if I'm no longer around much on Tumblr, I still come back from time to time and wonder what you'll be sharing this time. It's always exciting to find out that you post something new. your stories always feel so comforting, even when they are the most heart-wrenching angst ever! Your blog and your presence have always felt so positive too. just like how you are creating this lovely event 🥺 I think that's the reason why I still stick around no matter how much negativity has grown on Tumblr, because I know there's at least one writer here who still spreads positivity and exudes a comforting aura just by being here (and that's you!)
I love how you touch on real life issues and how you present them in your stories. even in the short ones, we get to feel the character growing through your fic and it feels really fulfilling to experience it 💜
For Blooming Wallflowers, I loved how you wrote the characters. even the daughters. often fanfics aren't so accurate when it comes to writing children (how they speak, behave, etc) yet you always make these characters feel so real, and I love that 💜🥺
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I hope you have a wonderful birthday 🎂
Thank you so much for reading Blooming Wallflowers! I'm glad you enjoyed the story and are loving the characters. Your idea made me think of cute moments between Joon, OC, and the girls, but as always, my mind think otherwise the moment I began writing the ficlet haha. Anyway, enjoy your moodboard and this "little" snippet, love!

“You should’ve let me help.”
His deep voice draws a smile to your face, yet you make no move to turn around. Not even when you can feel him approaching you from behind.
“You’re doing enough to help already,” you answer him as you rinse the last of the dinner plates under the running water. A large hand takes the plates out of your hand right as you are about to slip them into the dishwasher, taking over your work.
“I don’t see how I’m helping,” Namjoon says as he continues setting the dishwasher to do its work so you can get to rest.
You wipe your hands dry using the kitchen towel before handing it to him. “For one, you took my distractions away from me,” you answer with a whisper, nodding towards the living room where your girls are busy flipping between their assortments of storybooks. “What did you tell them so you could escape?”
Namjoon grins. “Hana asked me to read them a story before leaving. I told them to pick a book each that I could read for them.”
Shaking your head, you let out a soft chuckle. “You shouldn’t fall for their puppy eyes. You were only invited to join dinner, not to babysit the girls.”
“It’s well deserved. They’ve been so proud about helping their Mom prepare the delightful dinner tonight,” Namjoon says, shrugging. He moves to rest his hips against the kitchen counter and crosses his arms over his chest, drawing your eyes towards his toned muscles, his t-shirt straining over them, and a flutter rising in your chest. “Thank you for inviting me, by the way.”
The damn flutter goes wild when he says this with a smile. A dimple appears. Your skin grows warm. “It was a pleasure. I’m just honouring a promise I made to you.”
It truly was. Ever since the night at the supermarket, you have wanted to cook for him. Imagining him eating TV dinner after working to save people’s lives—or pets, maybe?—makes you feel bad.
But seeing him tonight at dinner was a whole other matter.
You had expected it to be awkward. A single man sitting with a single mother and her two kids shouldn’t have seemed so normal. And yet, he blended in so nicely at the table. He even didn’t blink an eye every time any of the girls left vying for his attention. From bragging about their roles in helping you set up dinner, to showing off their artwork from today’s class. Even Suzy came out of her shell and chatted with Namjoon, asking him about his job and if firefighters really do get called to take kittens down from trees.
“Well, I’m honouring the meal I received tonight. Step one is pleasing the princesses over there with good storytelling.”
Shaking your head, you turn back to the kitchen sink to wipe down the mess. “I swear you’re too good at this.”
Namjoon comes to you with a deep chuckle, surprising you when he wraps his arms around you from behind.
“What are you doing?” you hiss at him while looking over his shoulder, afraid that your girls would catch their special guest hugging their mother.
“They’re still busy, don’t worry,” he whispers to your ear, deep voice vibrating from his throat, and those harmless flutters travel down south, settling right between your legs.
“Since you said that I’ve done good—” he whispers, his lips brushing at your skin. “Does that mean you’ll finally agree to go on a date with me? I told you, I’m okay if we’re out on a weekday. I’m not always on night shift, and might be working on the weekend anyway.”
You swallow down your words and the tightness in your chest. You promised yourself that the night you spent with him on your bed would be the only time. With so many things going on in your life, this would be the wrong time for you to start anything. Not even with the first hot guy who managed to catch your eye.
But Namjoon has been insistent. Exchanging numbers had given him the chance to text and call regularly, from catching up with your day, to flirting, and often ends with him asking for a date, or a quick hook-up, a quick repeat of your first night. Yet you have been resilient so far in refusing him.
Some part of you have been expecting that he would eventually give up and move on. Another part of you has always known that you will regret everything if you ever let it happen. While the rest keeps reminding you that he doesn’t deserve to be pulled into your mess, even if you really, really like him.
Feigning your disinterest seems to be futile. But then again, immediately continuing your hookup the next morning after you first brought him to your bed during the morning after breakfast might have sent a different message. Because having him finally have a taste of you on the kitchen counter that morning, with him lathering maple syrup on your bare breasts to lick off of your skin instead of pouring them on his pancake, was not the right way to show each other that there was no passion between you once the alcohol wore off.
But, maybe, just maybe, you have always known what that would do to a man who is so persistent in his chase like Namjoon does.
“Will this Wednesday be good?” you find yourself asking once the fight leaves your body. “I’ll be off work early and it’s my Mom’s day to bring the girls to her shop.”
It’s too easy to give in, after all. And you are surprised to find how quickly the weight is lifted from your shoulders once you stop denying your feelings.
You can feel his smile on your skin as he presses a kiss on the side of your neck. A promise. It draws a shudder through your body when you are reminded of what those lips on your skin did to you last time. “That’s my day off. So it’s perfect.”
You open your mouth, ready to turn to face him, when Hana’s voice calls out,
“Mista Joonie!” she yells from the living room, and both of you are quick to separate, right as your little girl comes barrelling into the kitchen with her books. “I found my book!”
Chuckling softly, Namjoon steals a quick peck on your cheek before stepping away. “Duty calls,” he says with a wink, and off he goes to follow Hana back to the living room.
You watch their receding back as they leave you in the kitchen, smiling to yourself as you watch Namjoon listening with rapt attention as your youngest blabber on about her favourite book and how her sister had chosen something just as good for them to read together.
Thank you for your sweet words. your message really means the world to me. And thank you for following me and staying with me for so long. I wouldn't still be here if not for readers like yourself who has been here with me.
Here's my little gift for you 💜

Your library boyfriend Aemond moodboard has me dying for a snippet, a moment where you and him are trying to study, have been at it for hours, and you are frustrated, caught on something, and he suggests a way to help clear the mind and recalibrate....
@arcielee thank you for this request! I hope you like it, ilysm🫶
Library boyfriend Aemond headcanons!
• He insists on holding hands every time you walk into the library together, although everyone knows you’re his, he’s still protective af.
• Aemond loves to read, he’s always got his nose stuck in a philosophy or history book. You however, adore art and he loves watching you sketch while he writes essays. Always telling you how talented you are.
• He secretly loves it when you draw him, it makes him feel loved to see himself from your point of view. After his accident he saw himself as ugly and unlovable, but you make him see how beautiful he really is.
• Most of the time you spend your evenings in the university library, studying until everyone else has left.
• It’s moments like this that Aemonds gaze falls to the hem of your skirt, distracted by the way it rides up your thighs when you get comfortable in the old wooden chairs.
• He often places a gentle hand on your thigh, his thumb thoughtlessly rubbing over your soft skin, causing a wetness to grow between your legs.
• Aemond knew what he was doing, every time. He knew light touches set your body on fire, how you got even more turned on when it seemed like he was still reading, paying little attention to you or his actions.
• To counter his games, you’d let out a quiet moan, still keeping your eyes firmly on your current sketch.
• “Needy, love?” He would always ask. Tempting you to beg for him. One thing about Aemond is that he loved control, to know you desired him.
• Aemond could never keep himself controlled for long, checking his surroundings before moving his hand into your panties, feeling your wetness where you needed him most.
• “I guess that’s my answer” he’d continue, dominant as ever. “Why don’t you come sit here” he’d motion to his lap, adoring the sight of you on top of him as he held your thighs.
• It didn’t take long for you to end up bouncing up and down on his cock, a moaning mess as he continued to tease you. His dirty words reminding you how well you were doing, how much he loved your perfect pussy as he groaned into your shoulder, a sign he’d become close to his own high.
• When he threw his head back, his neat man bun long gone, you knew he was close as you rolled your hips into him, wanting his seed to fill you entirely.
• Never one to be selfish, Aemond would bring a hand between your legs, rubbing circles on your pearl so you would come undone together. The peak of intimacy for him.
• You thanked the gods every time that the library was soundproof, covering your moans and screams as you came, panting heavily.
• “My perfect angel” he’d always say, tucking the loose strands of hair behind your ear as you slumped on his lap, he relished the feeling of still being deep inside you.

do you have any advice for writers? i’ve written a couple strories here and there throughout the years and want to start again. you seem to have so many interesting ideas and are brave enough to share them!
hello anon!! thank you so much for asking, that's really sweet and i'm honored tbh 🖤🥺
i'm honestly horrible at giving advice but i will try!
it's gonna sound clichée and all but - just go for it! even if it's just a small, silly idea - write it out, don't overthink what others might think.
write down anything that comes to your mind!
i have a doc specifically for snippets and blurbs that are just fleeting thoughts - dialogue, scene descriptions etc. etc. chances are that once you've written it down, you come back to it and flesh it out. or you have something that just perfectly fits into a fic in the future.
use prompt lists to get started! just googling like "smut prompts" or "fluff prompts" will give you many lists where you can pick and choose from.
what also helped me to find ideas is random conversations with friends, doesn't even have to be fandom related! engaging with others, or maybe drawing from your own life experiences all make for interesting and funny ideas.
browse google or pinterest, the most random moodboards or pictures will spark the most random ideas ngl.
start out small maybe. starting out with the biggest idea could make you feel overwhelmed. a few hundred words do the trick too and it makes you get comfortable with the whole process of writing and uploading something so it's not as daunting later.
don't force anything. don't feel the vibe of one story rn? put it down and continue or start with something else to do on the side until inspiration strikes again.
most importantly: do. not. compare. yourself.
seriously. it's difficult and man, i deal with it too. but a bunch of numbers on your stuff is not indicative of the quality of your fics. it's luck, really, and obviously it helps when people have friends that help share things around.
and ask for help if you need it! i'm sure many people are willing to help with all sorts of things or point you in the right direction, myself included 🖤
i used to write for years without publishing anything too, and i only really got the inspiration and motivation to share in this fandom ngl.
i still have hella anxiety to share stuff sometimes, btw, so if you worry about that, it really just is something you'll have to get used to. but it does get easier with time, trust me!
hope this helped a little, i tried to cover a little bit of everything but feel free to reach out again if you want more advice! 🖤

I’m excited for your Azriel series! Can we get a little hint of what it will be about, or if it’s set in pre-ACOTAR or after? And how did you get the inspiration for your Lucien series?❤️
Thank you!!
My Azriel Series is called, 'To The Stars We Name', and is set before ACOTAR, during the first war. It follows Reader as we learn about her past, how she was left on the doorstep of Rhysand's mother and brought up alongside him and his sister, as well as Azriel and Cassian, and their journey as they prepare for the first war.
You can read a snippet of it here: WIP SNEAK PEEKS
In terms of inspiration for the A Court of Ash and Smoke trilogy, I'm not really sure where the inspiration came from. I remember just sitting in the bath one day thinking about ACOTAR, and the image of reader running across the throne room in the moments after Amarantha's death, and ripping the mask from Lucien's face came to me. It was originally going to just be a one-shot, but when I actually sat down to write it, I realised in order for what I had written to make sense, I needed to build it up, explain what had happened that led to Reader being Under the Mountain in the first place.
It then turned into a series, and when I got to the end of the ACOTAR plot, I didn't think that it was a natural ending, and the story wasn't finished yet (not to mention I wasn't ready to let the story go), so it turned into a duology, which quickly turned into a trilogy during planning.
I do intend to stop after the ACOWAR plot, but who knows? Maybe one day, when there are more books to draw plot points from, I'll come back to it and finish it properly. But for now, I think the story of Reader and Lucien, according to the plan I've made, comes to a natural end at the end of ACOWAR.
I think I got a bit off point there, but there are lots of things that inspired this story after the initial idea! I made lots of visuals to help with my writing, a moodboard, a playlist - all things that would change and shape the storyline in a different way than originally planned. Things like that are something I always use when writing.
Thanks for the ask lovely!!

Hi there. I've got lots of work in progress' I haven't gone back to in years, thing is I really like writing and want to get back into it but I just don't know how? I'm starting to think I might just not have what it takes to be a writer.
So as someone who is quite an extensive writer, what advice would you give to someone who desperately wants to write but won't ?
ooooof, Anon, your ask hit home with the accuracy of a flipping missile!! I know you’re not the only one struggling right now, and the key I think is to be a mix of very gentle with yourself and simultaneously just a little bit stern.
I burnt out completely in December 2020, and didn’t write anything for nearly five months, which was devastating. I’m a writer! That’s who and what I am. And I couldn’t do it??? I was deeply shaken by it, and I’m only just starting to claw my way back to my identity as a writer. I’ve had creative slumps before, but never a complete inability to write at all, and no one really... got it? I’ve had to postpone working on my novel, despite constant pressure from my family, which sucks.
I can’t tell you what will work for you for certain, obviously, but I can tell you what has helped me a bit, and hopefully something there will resonate, and you’ll be able to use it for your own struggles. Hang on in there, Anon!
First off, and I cannot stress this enough, you are still a writer. You don’t have to be sitting at the keyboard and typing actively all the time to call yourself a writer. You can be a writer while also taking a break, no matter how long that break is. If you want your identity to be that of ‘writer’, then you are. Tell yourself you are a writer, even when you’re not actively writing.
Force yourself to stop trying to write for a while. It sounds bonkers, and counterintuitive, but if you’re on a forced break, it might help recharge your energy. Tell yourself you’re not going to try and write for at least a whole month. Don’t open any WIP docs. Don’t re-read stuff you’ve got stuck on in the hopes that this time you’ll finish it. You’re on break, and you’ve given yourself permission not to be writing.
While you’re on your break though, feel free to use a little notebook or something to jot down any ideas you have, or snippets of dialogue/scenes etc., as scraps for the future. Just don’t try to make them into a big complete work just yet.
Read. Read lots of new books and stories. Push the boundaries of your usual genre comfort zones and try a new genre. Analyse the writing of these authors closely. Why do you like their style? What makes their style unique? Why does that sentence work so well, and why does that one feel flat or clunky? Be active in your reading, and it might trigger some enthusiasm for your own creativity. Hold onto that feeling, and see if you want to have another go after your break.
Write something for someone else. I took on some commissions recently, knowing I would be obliged to finish them, but I set a limit on the wordcount so I didn’t get super overwhelmed each time. (This is the ‘being a little bit stern’ part.)
Once your break is over (if you decide a break suits you in the first place!), write just one sentence and then walk away. Close the document and go and do something else. If you want to come back and write more later, then do. If not, you still wrote something. Do the same the next day.
Go outdoors if you can and think about your story somewhere else. Perhaps the change of environment will make it feel more refreshed. Take a notebook with you and write somewhere else. It might even feel like a treat!
Make sure you’re comfortable when you’re going to write. Turn your phone off, disconnect your laptop from the wifi, have some water or tea or whatever nearby, go to the bathroom first, put a jumper on or open the window. Just... give yourself permission to write for the joy of it. Remember why you wanted to tell these stories in the first place.
If you’re still not really feeling it, try creating character moodboards on Pinterest, or colour palettes for your characters, abstract watercolours, or whatever creative medium you fancy. Draw maps of the world, or just try and be creative within the universe of your stories without writing them.
Try a writing exchange with another author.
Take writing prompts for ten sentence drabbles or something.
And if none of that helps, forgive yourself for not having the energy to be creative in this way at the moment. Find a way to let go of the guilt and self-flagellation that a lot of creatives go through when their main focus isn’t playing ball. It’s ok to go into a creative slump, and it can take a long time to come out of it.
Hopefully some of that is helpful? It sucks, it really really sucks, when you’re not able to do something you love for whatever reason. Check out my ‘writing advice’ tag because I’ve written a few posts on creative block/writer’s block/creative hibernation before, and I might have missed some points in answering this.
Good luck, and go gently with yourself.
