A Cornerstone of Women Empowerment is all about the lesson that was tackled to us and its all about Femimsm. Feminism is about the belief in and advocacy of the political, economical, and social equality of all genders expressed especially through organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests. From what I can understand Feminism can be for men, women, and can be a part of LGBTQIA+ that is why Contestants in our beauty pageant are all male because they are all advocating that real men can dress and act as a women aswell.

Both the difference and similarities in gender equality and equity. Gender equality is about the equality of either genders that makes all genders have the same treatment. Gender equity is all about justice according to natural Law or rights that is specifically freedom from bias or favoritism. The gender equality, and equities similarity is that they have the same goal and that is to make us understand that genders are equal and have freedom in our society.

I am a pro to equality of all genders and I am a Proud Feminism.I do not descriminate nor be disgusted by them as I belleved that it is not wrong being yourself. Gender does not define our identities nor our status or role to our country and it is not wrong trying to be open to our society about our genders, one must be proud of our Genders and Sexualities.

High heels in the work place

A friend of mine will stay at the University of Aberdeen next year and so I had a look at the website. On the homepage I saw the headline: ‘Scientists call for tougher laws on enforced high heel wear’. 

What I expected from it:

the work place is neither a beauty pagent nor should women have to conform to men’s “beauty” standards. (I have an aquaintance who regularly comes to class in high heels. She once complained to me about her extremely painful feet and painful back. When I told her to stop wearing them she said says she wears them to look good: i.e. the internalised male gaze speaking? Otherwise why would she regularly wear something that hurts her so much?)

What I got from article/people who conducted study:

And what is there to “weigh up” (par. 8) about high heels? When it comes to spine and foot injuries there should be nothing to weigh up. period.

Being a teacher, I also needed to stretch my role to be able to still train (so to teach) my dear students in whatever they would be venturing. Enumerating the list here would be too much. I can only say that my passion for beauty pageants has really had a good use when I started teaching. Combining teaching while preparing my "kids" for a pagent became something very enjoyable for me. This is serious job, I told myself. So what else can I say? We've had title holders and runners-up in the past because of that formula I said. That has made me happy and more eager... Bagging, this year, BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE TITLE is a totally extravagant gift I still couldn't imagine happening in reality, even up to this very moment. The potential and skills of these guys combined with passion and optimism really equalled to the sashes and crown they're now wearing.
