Don't worry Wukong woke up immediately and took the staff away,,, doesn't mean Macaque didn't have the biggest scare of his life knowing that if the baby lifting the staff was a fluke he wouldn't have been able to lift the staff to save Xiaotian.

(Normally Macaque would be able to lift the staff for short periods of time, but since Xiaotian is still an infant, he keeps funneling his energy from Mac which means Macaque can't lift the staff at all at the moment,, so new panic mode activated)

genuinely insane that loghain, at one point in time between awakening and inquisition, decides to switch the armor he got at river dane (which he wore for upwards of twenty years) for warden armour. like, he literally built an identity around that battle, and at one point he just decides he will be defined by the defeat at the hands of the hero of ferelden and the role he found therein. neither of which is normal, per se, but one of them is terribly romantic in the historically appropriate sense of the word

Continuing my Adventure Time binge and I got to the Gunter/Orgalorg bits. Ice King took this horrible, cruel alien menace who's been seeking ultimate power for millennia and loved him, cuddled him, disciplined him (sometimes undeservedly) and overall sucked him into his deluded family unit. He did this for so long that when Gunter finally was given a chance for ultimate power -via the wishing crown - he chose instead to become Ice Thing. To become like his dad.

Simon dadded so hard that he turned two eldritch beings with capacity for immense destruction into daddies girls.
