anyone ever feel like you’re just not good enough as a writer? like, you’re putting everything into your work, but then you read someone else’s writing and feel this immediate wave of jealousy? like, how do they make it look so effortless? how do they craft sentences that make your heart ache and your mind race, while you're still here second-guessing every word you write? how did they come up with that plot? my lacy is authors who write like that. the ones who have readers hanging onto every word, flooding their comments with love, reblogging their fics like treasures. i see their work, and it’s so effortless and im like fuck can i just delete my blog.
