In your desc you say you want to hopefully be an animator. Where would you like to work? A big company? Or an indie studio? Perhaps your own studio?

Oh wow, this is quite the question. The fact is: I don't know!

I feel like I'd enjoy it a lot more if I were to just animate my own stuff, you know? Not even something big or complicated. Maybe just brief, short looped animations. Something like my "Welcome Home fake game" video thingy if I'm too inspired. Then I think I'd like to try working for an indie studio. A big company sounds like a bit too much for me, but who knows!

Don’t imagine Baggs sitting beside you in bed, and he takes notice when you begin to stir in your sleep, fidgeting around and uttering indecipherable attempts at words to yourself. Don’t imagine how the doctor places to the side whatever he was reading or writing on in that moment, how he  scoots in a little closer to where you lay, or how he leans in to where you were, fussing about in the midst of your subconscious, placing a palm over your forehead, whispering a few quiet words to you, and how the magic laced in both are able to settle you back down from your throes. How you give off a soft, extended exhale and sink back down into your pillow— and your body stills again. At peace.

well, guess who lost control of my hands again and was compelled to scribble down designs for ANOTHER Deltarune AU? yeah. me. it doesn't really have a proper name yet so I've just been calling it Changeling AU for now, I'll figure that out later.

these would be the cast's dark world designs; they parallel early Deltarune concepts in which the lightners would turn into monsters in the dark world-- with a few medieval fantasy fae-flavored twists this time around. mortals become a variety of magical beasts in the fae's dark realm, with only 'Kris' strangely unaffected... aside from the hue shift and conspicuously pointed ears, that is.

the main 'Kris' of this AU isn't the only human in town. instead, they're ironically the only one in town who ISN'T human, though not even they know it yet. in reality they're a Changeling, a fae creature that was left as a 'gift' to replace a taken human child. they can do things, strange things. animals come to them in the night, and the cool touch of iron burns their skin. they're afraid of what they see in the mirror; human eyes don't gleam in the dark, and their teeth shouldn't be so sharp. so they hide their features, and they ignore the whispers of the townsfolk, and they keep their head down.

they made a mistake, a terrible one... and they need to set it right.

meanwhile, the human they replaced is still out there somewhere in the fae world, twisted by its curse into a cornered, desperate beast seeking any escape from the realm that has held them prisoner all their life. it's said that when the full moon casts deep shadows over the woods, you can still hear their anguished howls in the dark begging for the name that once was theirs. they can never leave the dark world without it. they'd do anything to get it back.

all they've ever really wanted was to find their way home.

It still kinda bothers me that Pete didn't mention Ted in any way in the show. I'm happy that we got more Spankoffski lore with their parents being mentioned (their dad is probably as much of a weirdo as Ted is) and confirmation that Tinky is in fact obsessed with every Spankoffski (my headcanon that everyone is born with Tinky's hoof as a birthmark on their arm, you've seen this in my art of the bros), but why wouldn't Pete make a throwaway comment about his brother who, as we saw in Abstinence Camp, he admires? (He really shouldn't but sibling bonds are important in Hatchetfield)

My only theory is that since NPMD happens after Time Bastard, Ted is missing, and Pete doesn't wanna talk about him because he's suppressing all those emotions and probably pretends his older brother is on a business trip or something

Or it could just be the Langs not thinking it was important since we got a Homeless Man mention, who am I to say, I just love the goat bros a very reasonable normal amount 🐐💛

Anyway, you should see all the angst headcanons/fic ideas I have for the brothers, like how Pete was a do-over baby since Ted wasn't what their parents were hoping for, since their age gap is so huge

Quick hint on Tobey in future a.u!!!

Ironically, for someone who wants to be innovation itself, he wants to stay in the present as he might fear the future. However, he can't escape the past. As time is nothing without what came before.

He can not control it. He can not go back. He could only see it. Time. Of another or of himself. What will he focus on? His own failures? His wishes? His nightmares? Time will change him, physically and mentally. Can he accept that? Does he have to allow a certain fate? Or would he do anything differently? But that's irrelevant as he would not be able to. The device is broken, yet would he do it if he found a way to fix it?

Time will tell.
