When the whumpers step away from whumpee, now tied up and gagged on the floor, panting through his nose

Humiliating punishments like whipping while whumpee is tied up like this, whumpee floundering awkwardly away with a muffled shriek at every strike

Holding whumpee's arms so whumper can punch them over and over in the stomach

A lineup of prisoners, but whumpee is the only one that gets thrown and kicked into position

what's better:

being manhandled while conscious, spitting venomous words and cries for help as they easily wrangle your flailing limbs close to be hoisted along without breaking a sweat

OR

being manhandled while unconscious/sedated, knowing there's nothing you can do to stop them as they scoop you up or throw you over their shoulder, unable to fight the hold that doesn't even need to be tight since you're sure as hell not going anywhere

Whumpee was thrown to the ground by whumper.

"Stay down." Whumper hissed at them.

Whumpee quivered, but swore they heard footsteps leaving. They cautiously lifted there head to look around. The second they did, a hand grabbed them and slammed their head back down against the floor.

"What did I just say." A cold voice whispered.

Manhandle your whumpees.

Grab them by the arm and twist until something burns and crunches. Shove them down into their knees and rub their faces into the hard ground until their cheeks bruise or their lips bleed or their noses break. Slam them into walls. Grab them by the collar and shake them hard. Throw them around. Hold them by the throat to get their attention. Grab them hard enough to leave finger marks just because you can.

Leave your whumpees with bruises and aches that will linger long after the abuse has stopped.

Don'nt you just fucking love it when a caretaker (especially a leader) has to be physically held back by two or more people to keep from desperately charging in to save someone they can't possibly save? The screaming and the mindless struggling as they try to get to their doomed teammate.

As they watch the blood spill. As they're tugged backwards and to safety with feet kicking dragging against the ground.

Useless.

Magical restraints

Preferably some invisible restraints. With Whumpee being pressed against the wall (or on the floor), hands held back by an invisible force that they can't break free from. Maybe wisps of smoke around their wrists for the aesthetics.

- Whumper advancing on them, hand outstretched, fingers out. The pressure on Whumpee's wrists increasing with every step closer.

- Maybe Whumper can feel the magic in his fingertips pulse with every useless struggle.

- Or he just casually waltzes up, hands in his pockets.

- Implied Whumper getting closer and closer, right up against them and they can't even bring up a hand to try and force some distance.

- A flick of his hand and Whumpee is forced down to their knees.

- Another flick of his hand, like snuffing out a candle, and the invisible bonds fall away. The casual show of power.

- Whumpee snarling and spitting insults. Whumper just shakes his head and all of a sudden, Whumpee's raging is cut off mid-sentence. A heavy, invisible pressure now digging into their throat, cutting off their air :3

- The team is coming to save Whumpee. They see them alone in their cell, not even tied up, so they think this is going to be a piece of cake. But Whumpee can't get up. And there is no chain to break, no ropes to cut.

- Meaning they have to seek out the source of the magic first before they can get Whumpee out.

- Or well, maybe the source of that magic has noticed the commotion and is already on his way to them :)

- Bonus: he's standing in the doorway to the cell, blocking the exit.

Summary: (prequel to Whumptober Day 22) #2 gets #6 addicted to a drug.

#6 awoke on a bed in a small room which he assumed was in the village hospital. As per usual, he had no idea how he’d come to be there, though it doubtlessly had something to do with #2.

He had just stood up and begun to inspect the room when his suspicions were confirmed. The door to the room opened and in walked a woman followed by four guards. The woman wore a badge which designated her as #2.

#6 smiled. “Good morning.”

“Good morning #6,” the woman responded in kind.

“To what do I owe the pleasure?” 6 asked.

2 smiled almost sweetly, though 6 could see a dark undercurrent to the expression. “I’ve been informed that you’re a tough nut to crack.”

“Informed by who?” 6 probed.

“It matters not. I have broken many before you. By the time we are done you will tell me anything and everything I want to know.” 2 pulled a small black zippered case out of her pocket and set it on a nearby tray. Unzipping it, she pulled out a needle tipped syringe and a vial of green liquid.

“And what is it you want to know?” 6 eyed 2 warily as she pulled some of the liquid into the syringe.

2 genuinely laughed at that, turning to face 6 with needle in hand. “I hardly see the point in asking now.”

With that, 2 nodded to the guards. “Put him on the bed and hold him still.”

The four guards advanced on #6. Though he tried to fight them off, managing to land a few punches, 6 was quickly overpowered. Each of the guards grabbed a limb as they lifted the struggling man onto the bed.

#2 approached the bed, a glint of malice in her eye. “You certainly have spirit,” she said, sounding almost impressed. “No matter. Maybe this will curb your enthusiasm.”

6 shook his head as she lined up the needle with a vein in his wrist and plunged it in, injecting the contents.

The effects were nearly instantaneous. 6 felt all the tension involuntarily leave his muscles. He let out a soft groan, his head falling to the side. He felt like he was swimming in a sea of cotton balls. His thoughts slowly faded away into static. The guards released their hold on him, and 6 was vaguely aware of a warm hand on his cheek. He registered words being spoken, but he could not focus on them enough to decipher their meaning.

2 brushed her thump along the prone man’s cheekbone. “Enjoy it while it lasts. It’ll be when you don’t get it that you start to talk.”

#2 grabbed her case, replacing the vial and needle, before walking out followed by the guards.

Whumper slamming whumpee face-first into the floor. Their powerful hands pressing—grinding whumpee’s delicate cheekbone into the ground, twisting their arm behind their back and wrenching it up until whumpee cries out.

The chills when whumpee feels those hands running up their torso, whumper’s low voice in their ear, ordering them to “hold still, cmon now, don’t resist me pretty, or I’ll be forced to do some real damage.”

When the Whumper is going to roughly grab the Whumpee by the hair or grip them by the chin, but the half-awake Whumpee just leans into their hand. And the Whumper cups their cheek instead, looking over their resting face…
