isn't it funny how eddie getting right up in buck's face and shouting at him for no reason, and guilt tripping and shaming him for having feelings = peak romance
but tommy calling buck by his name, looking after him and giving him an ice pack and painkillers when he's injured, noticing when he's not okay and checking in on how he's feeling, even dressing up in a suit and driving with him to a cemetery so he can make a speech to a dead cowboy in order to break a curse he doesn't believe in = abusive behaviour
#i have gone to bed since the episode this is a fresh new day and... yep still mad#sorry but the way eddie's been acting has been genuinely triggering for me so idrc#and coming back with a gift or a nice gesture without actually ever apologising is something i have experienced one too many times as well#it's manipulative is what it is#911 spoilers#911#911 abc#911 discourse#anti eddie diaz#anti buddie#doing this now i guess...#fandom wank

Dan noticed that the creepy old nerd walked in to his sanctuary and his whole body shivered in instance. Mr. Crofft grinned at the sight of all the muscle men working out on the gym floor and with just a simple click of his finger, almost 80% of the gymgoers froze in their place. Dan is not one of them, and he's pretty much surprised with the sight he's witnessing
"W--what the fuck? They're all under your control too?"
"Well yes, my boy. Everyone that looked down on me eventually succumbed to me and my whims. But I set things differently for my top guys, like you,"
Hidden in that statement of his, lies another thing that triggered most of the people left behind that didn't fall under Mr. Crofft's click as Dan realized the panicked and confused look shown by the rest of the people that survived the first phase went soft and docile.
"You're a fucking monster, Mr. Crofft. You won't get away with this,"
"Oh I'm afraid I already got away with this for too long, you silly beefcake,"
And just like that, Dan's resistance is over as his muscular arms slumped to his side and his eyes looked blank despite the wide smile programmed by Mr. Crofft to be shown by all his muscle puppet
"Strip to your underwear. Let me check on you and your progress,"
Dan takes off his tanktop and shorts to reveal a shredded physique with nice balance of muscle distribution.
"Flex, let me take my measurement tape and see how big your biceps, triceps and the rest of your body,"

And with no pause, Dan flexed his arms as he remained staring blankly to the mirror, his body groped, prodded and even showered with Mr. Crofft's piss and cum as the old man practically treated the aspiring young jock like a mere ragclothes for him to wear how he pleases and discarded once he finished. When Mr. Crofft leave the gym premise, all the men released from his influence and returned to do their normal routine, Dan found himself under the running shower with no recollection how on Earth he ended there, probably pushing himself too hard to do his workout until he blacked out, he thought to himself

Take I haven't seen in the fandom yet:
Luka doesn't want to be freed.
"Now, MirrorCatCreditcard," you may say, "that's nonsense. Any human would want freedom from that system."
If you're thinking I'm gonna convince you that Luka doesn't know he wants freedom yet, you're wrong. I'm here to talk about indoctrination/conditioning, grooming/emotional manipulation, my own experience with those topics, and how all of the above connects with Luka as a character. If a deep dive like this is too much for you, please tap out for your own sake.

Luka's life was planned before he even existed. There has never ever been an alternative option. There is no life for Luka as anything but what Herperu chose. Everything in his life has been planned to have him be the perfect pet human idol. That is what he must be.
Fandom, I don't think most of you actually understand this and have dissected what this means (shout-out to the Luka stans who are getting there/have guessed similar things). These words we know have alternatives and are not set in stone are Luka's "gravity makes rain fall to the earth" and "water makes things wet." They are facts so deeply ingrained within him that even if shown the contrary he remarks that the person showing them is just disillusioned.
Take his commentary on Mizi and Hyun-A in the art book. He looks down on Mizi for not being able to control any of her emotions. How does he talk about Hyun-A? He has her at 70% affection yet shows a patronizing attitude—she's the one in denial at reality.
Now, how did we get here? How is a human so "delusional" and set in the control?
He's been conditioned.
Some of you don't know what I mean by this from experience and/or research, and count yourself fortunate that you don't. I pray you never experience such things firsthand. Don't worry about ignorance. Familiar or not, I will explain.
When you are surrounded by only one truth and reality, that is the way you interpret life. If a parent tells a child "the moon goes to sleep during the day," until the child learns otherwise, that's what they believe. Now take that child-like belief and add some toxic environments to the mix. With time, any other kid would learn that the earth rotates from their peers or adults around them. But if the creatures around them all say and believe the same thing "the moon goes to sleep during the day," then that is what the child continues to believe. Years of that same thing being the only truth make that false knowledge into a fact in the person's head, and everything that supports that fact is taken as truth or on the right path to truth.
"This is kinda silly though," you guys are no doubt murmuring, "All of this is a hypothetical. Give us something that makes sense or that someone could actually see happen in our society."
I'll give you my own experience then. My parents taught me that God is real. My parents taught me that I will be damned I do not follow the commandments of the scriptures. I didn't need to worry though. As long as I was obedient to the God who loved me and wanted what was best, I would be saved despite being born an awful sinful human. I was homeschooled, only interacted with people of similar beliefs, and taught that people too different from me in ideology or with radical beliefs against my own were trying to harm me and my family. I believed the people who raised me because why would people who love me lie to me? My task was simple. I needed to obey God and love everyone, especially them. Love meant giving up my entire being and living only as servant and sacrifice. After all, being selfless to the utmost was the greatest form of love.
Let's go back to Luka. His guardian, Herperu, when questioned about any surprises while training Luka, stated not only that he was the one who endured the "tough moments" but also that "(Luka) owes his success to me, and naturally, he should be grateful." This sentiment is echoed by Luka in his interview (shown on Patreon). My god, it's giving parents with disabled kids who brag on social media about how much trouble their kid is and how much they do for them. Sickening. This shows exactly what environment Luka has lived in though.
When you are manipulated into having something as your reality, everything else is fiction and delusion.
Let's review what exactly is Luka's reality.
Heperu is the one suffering if Luka has any difficulties being obedient.
Gratitude is what Herperu is owed because he goes through so much trouble to make Luka a star.
Love/care is shown by owning another's autonomy.
Emotions and bodily reactions exist, sure, but someone should be able to control them; and if they can't, someone should control those reactions for them.
Segyein are superior and the good ones for dealing with humans. Humans must be disciplined and shaped to how an segyein wants it to act to be considered deserving of this goodness.
(Luka)'s perfection is defined by his guardian.

Luka's life is directly connected to being the perfect performer. His guardian praises his abilities with the statement that no other pet human will ever be as perfect as him yet leaves an underlying threat saying that it will be no good if a pet is not trained properly. This has probably been mentally (if not physically) beaten into Luka's mind: his greatness doesn't stop him from being able to be disposed of. The human instinct to want to live has been explained to him as Heperu's wish for him to live and that has been further distorted as a duty to live for the stage he has been placed on.
Luka believes fully that there is a debt in play here. In his interview, he mentions repaying love. He thinks the relationship between fan and idol is completely normal, encouraged, and healthy. Performance is the most important thing. Being where he is is a privilege.
There's a chain here:
Heperu indoctrinated Luka into believing what he says is all true.
The guardian manipulated him easily to do what he wanted with his body and mind.
The years have been spent constantly conditioning Luka to be the god who encapsulated fantasies for the audience.
He is continually being groomed to exist for the entertainment and enjoyment of segyein.
Circle back to my first point of this post. Luka does not want to be freed. He doesn't know what freedom actually is. He sees freedom as either foolish denials of reality (and doesn't consider that actual freedom) or as controlling the song and stage when he performs (something he learned from Hyuna). He cannot want something he cannot understand. He cannot want freedom in the sense the fandom keeps speaking about.

It's funny. From the moment Luka was revealed to be hated by the fandom, I wanted to know why. Instead of digging and finding horrific deeds, I instead found a character who portrayed my own traumas and experiences. I instantly attached and delved deeply into learning about this thirty year old singer. Why does he express himself in a certain way? Where do we first see mention of him? Who does he have emotions towards? How was he trained? What makes Luka himself? I have past essays/replies to other's theories if you're interested, but in this one I got personal and didn't sugarcoat the facts. If the fandom can't handle deep thought, we shouldn't be discussing this incredibly profound and depth-filled web series.
As always, thank you for your time, and I hope my thoughts allowed you to open your mind to new things. Mostly, I hope you enjoyed them 🫶

About his "trigger warnings"
I mentioned here on tumblr that I used to have a number one favourite book writer. I guess not anymore. After all the SA allegations and other stories that got leaked by people around him (his collegues, co-workers etc.), I realized he's an abusive asshole and I owe you all to say that openly here. And some of the assaults date back decades now, which means he didn't just wake up one day and changed into an asshole, he most likely was always one.
I read the foreword to his book Trigger Warning again. I feel like I took a peek beyond his fake persona there. He writes about trigger warnings like it's some exotic curious little trend that kids on the internet came up with, finds it a bit peculiar like a daddy trying to understand their kid's hobbies, then proceeds to use them like a funny teasers for his short stories ("can you find the big tentacle hidden among the pages somewhere?"), only to finish it all up with a punch straight to your face: real life doesn't have trigger warnings, so always watch out for yourself. On the surface level? This all sounds like a slightly misguided, maybe even witty intro. Nothing is said with malice, right? And yet, the message underneath it all was always to discredit trigger warnings as a concept. That's why that delivery line is at the very end of that intro. You're supposed to be lulled into agreeing how silly it all is. I dunno if he did it on purpose or did it without thinking much about it, by habit, but that intention is there and it's disguised with concern and attempts to sound kind. A peek beyond the nice guy mask. No wonder I could never finish that anthology of short stories. The cognitive dissonance caused by the foreword sticked with me like a bad aftertaste. My intuition told me this was all wrong, I just couldn't find the words to express it.
And you know why it works so well as a disguise and why we tend to believe he didn't do it on purpose? Because hey, he just said the facts, the truth! Reality indeed doesn't have any trigger warnings, what's wrong with saying that! Yes, that statement is true. Using real statements in carefully woven context to sell a lie, is an example of an excellent manipulation. So allow me to untangle it or, in other words, to reveal the magic trick behind it.
Why do trigger warnings exist? Isn't Gaiman right, aren't they counterproductive, you might think, because by avoiding triggers you will never get better at dealing with them? Indeed, here's the catch, because the answer isn't a simple yes or no here. Yes, often to recover from trauma, you need to expose yourself to it in some way - like for example, through exposure therapy (or even just classic psychotherapy). But also No, because there's no rule that says you will officially recover only after you're fine reading fiction about sexual assault (for example)! Some triggers will dimnish, some will not, and the best you can do for the latter is to avoid them altogether. Triggers are extremely personal, but you can learn to manage them, in ways that respect your own boundaries, but never by giving up your right to selfcare. You see the difference?
Back to therapy bit for a moment. To recover, often you need to go through with it. But here's the thing - you do it in *controlled environment*, accompanied by a specialist that is there to help and calm you down afterwards. And you only start to do that once you feel *ready* to face it. Now compare it to a situation of reading a book (yes, a book, which usually never has any trigger warnings, because that's such a silly fanfiction thing). You come upon your trigger without any warning, preparation or support around you, you're left with the aftermath of possible panic attack or other symptoms completely on your own. It might take you weeks to recover from it, because perhaps you weren't yet in any therapy that could help you manage your triggers more effectively. But then you tell yourself it's fine, minimizing your own emotional reactions, because *it was just a book*. But, you realize, even years later you still remember it and you might finally accept the harsh truth that you're still not fine with it.
Now imagine same situation, but the book did have trigger warnings listed. For example, about sexual abuse. You would see that and leave the bookstore without the book, because you would know you're not *ready* for that. And it's fine not to be ready, be it yet or ever. This is about consent and selfcare, both are essential to process through trauma and recover. The books without trigger warnings rob selfcare, consent and a choice from us. They teach us we should always ignore our triggers and push through. It's sadly a reality that is widely accepted so Gaiman is right, nothing in reality will flash you a warning. But he's also wrong: it doesn't mean we can't make the life a tiny bit easier for those of us who are traumatized, instead of leaving them with all of that on their very own. This part, he doesn't want you to even consider. He doesn't want you to imagine the positive side of living in a world in which real books warn you about triggers, because then it would prove that it *can* become a reality in which real things (like books) warn you of triggers. They can't shield you from everything, but that's also not the point: it's just to make some things feel more safe, for everybody.
(As a side note, being triggered is not the same as stepping outside your comfort zone - those are two different matters! Though yes, stepping outside your comfort zone in an extreme way CAN become traumatic as the result as well).
I guess Neil Gaiman just thinks some people are too sensitive and should just get over themselves. You don't need those warnings, they won't protect you anyway. Have you tried not getting traumatized? How dare you think your selfcare is more important than reading my questionable fantasies? You're missing out if you skip my book (that has no proper trigger warnings) and you have only yourself to blame! I provide you a safe environment to explore your traumatic triggers, you should be grateful! And how is your book providing a safe environment exactly, author? Did you even try to put a safety net there for your reader? Do you even care? Of course you don't. But you will pretend like you do: by providing a very ingenuine effort that is mostly meant to be a pat on your own back for cleverly dismissing the very concept of trigger warnings, while pretending to play along with it and exposing their lack of power in the process. Disguised as a coincidence, lack of understanding or unskillful attempt written by a slightly ignorant daddy-like figure. What an irony that you do it by nearly surgically focusing on the blind spots of the concept, proving at the same time you do know the mechanism behind it pretty well. You knew what you were doing and how you were doing it.
Or at least, this is how I see it: I might be wrong on the details, but I'm sure I caught the gist of the manipulative behaviour there. An abuser always wants you to step out of your comfort zone, get surprised by a trigger, and to make sure you're outside your safety net. Because then you're an easier target, more likely to agree to harmful things (be it real actions or just harmful beliefs delivered to you by the author of a book, like in case of *trigger warnings being pointless*). They want to groom you into thinking that you're just being silly and see things that aren't there.
Trigger Warning's foreword is exactly that and I feel disgusted, now that I finally recognize my own feelings about it. I probably didn't find words for it before, because I wanted to believe Gaiman had good intentions behind it, they just didn't work out very well. Except that was never the case and that's why it never felt right. That good intention was never there, but it sure *looked* like it was. Also it took me way too long to realize people do things like that on purpose. You know what, Gaiman? Thanks to gaslighting efforts like yours it took me also way too many years to accept that selfcare IS OKAY.
So many people now think nothing was ever genuine about Neil Gaiman because his nice guy mask slipped. A mask he used to hide his autism behind and appear neurotypical/feel accepted thanks to it. Whenever a really advanced mask like that slips, the cognitive dissonance becomes a huge gap between a mask and actual self in perception of other people. Still, your autism is not an excuse for things you do and say, and definitely doesn't excuse assault as simple miscommunication - and yes, he did try to justify lack of consent this way. "I'm autistic, I read the body language wrong and wasn't even aware of it". Hey, you could have, like, asked. There's no shame in getting confirmation in words :P but it's just a poor excuse anyway, the truth is he didn't care if it was wanted or not, as long as he got adoration and powertripping thrill out of that, and that's the best case scenario here.
I believe the allegations. I won't be able to read Gaiman's books anymore, I honestly can't see them the same way I used to anymore. I loved Coraline and The Graveyard Book, and Smoke and Mirrors. I feel disgusted knowing that he openly claimed to be a feminist while at the same time assaulted so many people and used emotional manipulation so they won't #metoo him. He even went as far as to claim "always believe the victims", but once the allegations flew his way, what did he do? Blamed the victims, even called them mentally ill! I also feel now like his books are also just full of deception, meant to hide harmful beliefs under quirky words and imaginative tales. And I might never be able to stop feeling this way and I don't owe him a second chance anyway.
Good Omens stays in my heart though, because sir Terry Pratchett put a lot of work into it and it shows. I feel like I would show him disrespect if I discarded it. Let's say it becomes a Gaiman Who Might Have Been But Never Was, for me.
#neil gaiman#neil gaiman allegations#gaslighting#emotional manipulation#please use those trigger warnings#they really can help people#this post might be uneccessarily spiteful and very very angry#but my feelings need a safe venting space#and I owe people explanation why this guy is not my fav author anymore#everyone deserves to know the truth#especially because bots and algorithms push positive posts about Gaiman to hide the allegations from sight#the allegations been known for months but I only learned about it lately thanks to random vid on YOUTUBE ffs

A look of realization washes over his face, perspective upended—like he was finally seeing Stone in a new light.
"He used to call you sycophant." Tom muttered, as if to himself, and the subconscious use of past tense only made Stone scowl, gripping harder on the reigns. Tom jostles, but pushes through. "He used to call you sycophant, but that wasn't true, was it? You know it wasn't."
What do you know? Stone wanted to snarl. Wanted to scream and punch and maybe kick this audacious imbecile in the nads for assuming, for thinking he could even begin to grasp what he was, what he and Ivo had been to each other—
"Sycophants are in it for something." Wachowski continued, clearly determined to say his piece to it's bitter end. "That's what he thought. That you had an end goal. That he was a medium. But he was wrong-,"
"Bite your fucking tongue, Wachowski-,"
"He was wrong. He wasn't the end goal—he was your purpose. You weren't in it for something, you did it for the love of the game." Wachowski gulped, the implications unspoken. Love for him. "You were never a sycophant. You were a zealot."
You were worse, goes unsaid. You were always worse.
Perhaps he should be flattered, to think that the man has made these decisions in such a short amount of time... But all he feels is balking, terror and rage snowballed into something bitter and leaden in his stomach. Stone pulls the rope forward, and Wachowski winced, stumbling. Stone tugs on his hair, pulling him away. Disgusted.
"There is no-one greater," he hissed. "And nothing worse than the Mad Doctor, do you understand?"
Wachowski swallowed again, saying nothing. He shakes like a prey animal.
He doesn't, of course. Why would he? He's already made up his stupid, tiny, feeble mind, but it is no consequence. Soon he will be dead, and so will his wife, and it will lead that wretched hedgehog right back to him—destroyed, in need of the killing blow. It will be enough, and the Mad Doctor will return. Everything will be as they should be—kneeling at the doctor's feet, where they belong.
It will be enough.

One thing about Gortash that keeps bugging me is his desire to share power.
Because obviously, that's a great deal right? That's something special right? A tyrannical fascist geniunely wanting to share power with an old companion? Of all people? An old companion who fell from grace, yet Gort's still devoted to them? Isn't this, moral depravity aside, a great testament to their kinship and all that?
I mean that's certainly one way to read it right? But there's something else about that proposition, somethings leaving a bit of a sour aftertaste here, namely the near impossible level of power imbalance going on.
Gortash knows Durge intimately well. He flaunts that fact immediately and does not care about the repercussions his old companion may face due to the dirty laundry being aired publicly (if he's not looking forward to them outright, that may be their own version of flirting though tbf). Anyway, he knows their name, skills, past, and presumed motivations; they were incredibly close before the incident, and yet he hardly talks about that, brushes it off by saying "I missed you—anyway heres the issues I'm facing rn". He teases that he knows them enough to draw intrigue, but he never follows up, holding that knowledge and the answers Durge wants above their head. He uses their oath as an excuse, that they promised each other not to get involved into each other's messes, that he couldn't do shit, and then immediately asks them to get involved in his mess and sort it out for him cuz all of a sudden the oath not to get involved apparently doesn't apply anymore.
Like, yes, it seems like a "good deal" and something positive at first glance, and yes, he's not lying through his teeth but he's still withholding a shit ton of information on purpose and twisting the narrative to suit him more than anyone else. Instead of truly welcoming back someone who's been missing for months and helping them out a bit, that mf dispatches them to do his dirty work for him and promises shared reign alongside something as mundane as the chance to gain knowledge about themselves as a reward, yk the thing Durge really would like rn. AND considering Durge's notes and depending on what choices you make, sharing power would be more so Durge being merciful than smth Gortash can actually decide or propose (the balls he has for still trying though—sees a murderous demigod that can't remember they liked him once and decides to be a cocky bitch anyway).
Eitherway, he wants to share power. He might even mean it, but he's not willing to actually divulge information concerning anything 'Durge' and instead dangles the fact that he knows them above their head. He wants to share power, but only if Durge is blindly loyal to him and does not question his approach. After all sending the amnesiac gore baby to find their sister in a city and temple they can't remember whatsoever all by themselves isn't particularly efficient or smart but a damn suicide mission. And then he doesn't even provide any aid. He's willing to share power only if he gets to keep his control over the situation and Durge, and one way to confirm that is by sending the Bhaalspawn after their own family with no help nor information (either they come back and he'll be sure they still do as demanded or they'll die down there and thats that, Gortash probably). And only then is he actually willing to share power. Handily also without revealing any further information whatsoever, he's just using platitudes and buttering up to the bloody Bhaalspawn, never actually sharing any information regarding their shared past or what Durge was up to.
In conclusion, Gortash wants to share power the same way a king let's a dagger dangle from his belt while he sits on his throne. He doesn't actually want an equal right now. If he did he would not be doing everything to tip the scales in his favour and blatantly change the topic and refuse to disclose more information than necessary, information regarding the person he "missed so dearly". What he says sounds nice but what he's actually doing is trying to control Durge. This ain't rly about a shared reign or the likes, this is more so getting Durge to blindly tag along while concealing their past for reasons one can only speculate (did they fight, did someone betray the other, why is Gortash so unwilling to share any solid information?).
This escalated but you get my gist.
#bg3#enver gortash#durgetash#bg3 gortash#bg3 durge#lord gortash#once again reminded of Isaacs saying to trust him only as much or as far as you could throw him#which isn't much#anyway still on my mission to make Gortash a worse more fleshed out person and a better antagonist#cuz this man is smart and he knows to manipulate people#he learned how from a fucking devil#so the fact that he is NOT exploiting a past close relationship and the attached emotions is in itself sketchy as shit#he shames durge and then blames it all on Orin while painting himself as some sorta saviour#but he handily forgets all about the heist the throne and all the other stuff that durge WILLINGLY did for him#why are you doing that little lordling?#did you do something to piss off the Bhaalspawn so now you avoid it for fear it could trigger something?#why do you suddenly need to confirm that they'll follow you blindly under the worst circumstance when all your other plans are reckless?#why be extra cautious with this one (except for game design reasons)?

I just thought of something kind of awful.
Ellie is kidnapped by a group of people, locked up, and isolated while scared out of her mind. Then the leader of that group comes in and talks to her like she's an adult. They tell her they're the reason she wasn't killed by their group and she should be grateful for that. They bring up someone she cares about and make her feel guilty about them getting hurt. They tell her that she's special and that other people aren't like her, and they ask her to do something for them they think only she can do. They don't give her a choice in the matter, really.
Who am I talking about?
Marlene or David?
#the last of us#tlou hbo#tlou american dreams#ellie williams#joel miller#marlene tlou#david tlou#queue do you think you are#david's just his own trigger warning#i had to watch this scene muted to take these screenshots#there's more parallels even if you compare the scenes#it's kind of wild#and obviously marlene's intentions AREN'T the same#but she IS manipulative towards ellie#i'm not even saying this in a “rah rah marlene is secretly the villain” way#i just think the parallels are interesting

I found this scene in particular so odd and out of place in the new episode. Apart from the fact that Stolas has no right to be angry at Blitz for "not saving him" when Striker kidnapped him nor to be upset that he didn't tell him about Striker's attempt at shooting him. In Loo Loo Land he's perfectly capable of defending himself (even when he hired Blitz for protection!), why is he complaining that an imp, the lowest class on the hierarchy isn't protecting one of the highest?
In that scene Stolas accuses Blitz of not understanding "how much he cared about him", but has he forgotten that he was the one who couldn't stand up not to Asmodeous nor to the accusations of him "sleeping with an imp"?
This reaction shows the actual opposite of what he's telling Blitz he did.
I read that Stolas is supposedly also not aware of ~things~ but why is the narrative conveniently forgetting about his faults as well?
Onto the "apology tour" subject: I fail to understand why Blitz owes Stolas an apology. The only time he was shitty to him was actually in Ozzie's when he asked him on a (fake) date without telling him all the story. But they didn't talk about that not during that episode neither during Apology Tour. Is it because doing this would have forced the narrative to acknowledge that also Stolas was at fault during that episode?
All the other times they interacted (on and off screen, their chats don't really mean anything since it seems that's the way Blitz writes in general), Blitz was being good to him (not that he had any other choice, due to their society ranks and their deal).
To me, this looks like bad writing. But if someone has a different take, I'm happy to hear their interpretation.
#helluva boss critical#helluva boss criticism#anti stolitz#stolitz critical#vivziepop critical#my first post on this critical tag...... wow..... i guess i can't escape my destiny#but since i liked the series during s1 i hope to get proved wrong actually????#i read a post about apology tour on my feed from a person i know saying omg stolas is so meee#and im like omg i do not want to interact with this person never again stolas was kind of toxic and manipulative in that ep#his words reminded me of what my ex used to tell me#can't you see how much i show you that i love you????#then proceded not to even send a small message of congratulations when i majored in my study course#he said that congratulating me would have made him “deeply uncomfortable” because he didn't major yet#when stolas said “youre making me uncomfortable” i was like wow i am triggered lmao

one of my favorite things about Kö is how differently he would treat his Darlings male friends vs female friends. like a male friend is constantly walking on a wire and every move is hyper analyzed "what do you mean GOOD morning?? are you implying she wasn't having one before? that I could not make her mornings good enough?? Liebe I told you he's got his eye on you let me beat him up"
meanwhile a female friend could straight up walk in and honk her titty and he would probably be like 🤷♂️ "women are such affectionate creatures, who am I to get in the way of a beautiful feminine friendship I wonder if they kissed before"
I know he's vaguely aware that he's being a bit of a hypocrite, that he's probably more jealous than the average man (god save him from being counted among any kind of "average" ever) and holds a few double standards, but that still doesn't mean he should get therapy. It's not that bad, right?
Besides, every guy is trying to flirt with you. That's how dudes are! He of all people should know...
But let's not dig into that too much. Besides, you shouldn't be giving these men any attention because that only gets their hopes up. 'Friendzone' is a place he's more than familiar with himself, so let's not pretend that any of those little charmers are actually trying to be your 'friends'. And, uh, do you see him having any female friends? No? That's for a reason, Liebe <3 (um, yeah we have a theory what the real reason is König)
But to be honest, König doesn't even see other women when he started dating you. He's becoming almost impolite, muttering "Ja, ja," to some girl at the mess when she's only trying to wipe the table. He's too busy stalking if you're online because why haven't you responded to his message? :( He sent it like five minutes ago.
Sees you give your female friend a kiss on the cheek, she tries to do the same, you somehow end up colliding so that you nearly peck each other on the mouth and start to giggle because of that. His heart just warms from seeing how sweet you two are... He even lets out a little heh, heh when he sees the friend smack you on the butt in the kitchen, leaving a floury handprint all over your ass. You two look so adorable when trying to make sourdough bread together. Doesn't the world just become thousand times better place with women in it?
