Hii Have you ever done a study marathon? If so, what's the procedure exactly
Hi! Technically I have done a study marathon but not voluntarily, simply because of bad time management back in high school. If we're thinking of same kind of study marathons, most people do them because they have upcoming deadlines or exams that they haven't revised for.
Study marathons consist of extensive hours of study, usually more than 6 hours. Most people spend an entire day or two studying (excusing meal, hygiene and rest breaks). They're done in blocks of different subjects with allocated time/content goals for each one.
I really would not recommend study marathons at all, they are a terrible way of understanding and retaining information, especially long-term. Paced study is always better. Of course things don't always work out, so if If you really must do a study marathon, some tips:
take breaks, whether it's using a pomodoro timer or another system that works for you
stay hydrated and don't miss meals
move around if you start to feel stiff, even revising while walking if you have to
if you feel like you're not really retaining info for one subject, move onto another one and come back later
if you're revising for an exam, practice tests are always better than ROTE learning
don't try to do lots of different subjects/tasks at once—multi-tasking is fake
get started early so you're set to finish early too
don't pull an all nighter, sleep deprivation can throw all your hard work down the drain.

So after having rhinoplasty/septoplasty and some other minor facial surgery for masculinization purposes (a very little bit of chin and jaw lipo) and after being in the end stages of my phalloplasty I can confidently say if I had to do one procedure again once a month for the rest of my life, I'd never do nose surgery again.
Can I breathe now? Yes. Is my nose bump gone? Yes. But NOTHING on earth is worth going through the little splints they suture inside your nose and having them removed for a second time.

Tumblr desktop is having technical difficulties and now I am forced to use the app.
This better not be for another mundane frog soundboard update.

Finding Your Rhythm: Mastering Pace in Half Marathon Training
Tumblr media
Hey Tumblr fam! 🌟 Let's chat about one of the keys to successful half marathon training: pace! 🕒💪 Keeping a consistent pace is crucial for building endurance, avoiding burnout, and ultimately reaching your race day goals.
Here are a few tips to help you find your rhythm:
Start Slow: Don't rush out of the gate! Begin your runs at a comfortable pace, gradually increasing your speed as your body warms up.
Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how you feel during your runs. If you're struggling to maintain your pace, it's okay to dial it back a notch.
Practice Tempo Runs: Incorporate tempo runs into your training schedule to help you get a feel for race pace. Start with shorter intervals and gradually increase the duration as you build endurance.
Use Technology Wisely: Consider using a GPS watch or smartphone app to track your pace and distance. This can help you stay on target during your runs and monitor your progress over time.
Stay Consistent: Consistency is key! Aim to maintain a steady pace throughout your training runs, focusing on building endurance and gradually increasing mileage.
Remember, half marathon training is a journey, not a sprint! Take your time, listen to your body, and trust in the process. You've got this! 💪✨
