she's really impressed with your skill. everyone is, but she shows it a lot more than some other people would. she asks you where you learned everything from and you trade tips sometimes

she thinks your tattoos are really cool but she doesn't really mention them that much. they're just a part of you and it makes you unique

she will never ask about how you got your scars unless you bring them up first. she doesn't want to hurt your feelings or make you upset at all

she's definitely proud of you, though. it's awesome watching you be able to do everything you do without having to worry about you getting hurt

louis

he's in love with you at first sight. you aren't like anyone else he's ever met and he thinks you're awesome right off the bat

he compliments you on your tattoos sometimes and when you actually get into a relationship he likes tracing them with his fingers. it calms him down

he's super impressed by you (as is everyone else), but he will cheer you on. "that's my partner! did you guys see that!!" stuff

he wants to ask about the scars but he doesn't want to pry, either. he knows you'll tell him eventually, and when you do, he feels so honored that you're comfortable enough like that

marlon

he thinks you're super useful. he's a bit wary of accepting you into his group, but he'll give in because he likes you

he's gonna compliment you a lot. he wonders where you got your skills from but he doesn't ask. he's just glad you're good enough so where he doesn't have to worry as much about someone else

when you get together, he'll be more affectionate and more willing to give you compliments. he likes your tattoos and thinks they give you character

he might ask once about a scar he sees, solely because it looks fresh and he's worried. you tell him that it's nothing and he drops it. he trusts you

violet

violet won't admit it but she catches feelings really fast. you're one of the only people she's willing to describe as her equal

she thinks you're awesome and she'll learn how to compliment you more as time goes by without it being ridiculously awkward

she likes your tattoos and she wants to get one for herself at some point, so she admires yours a lot. if you catch her she gets really flustered

brody

she's one of the leaders at ericson's so she (like marlon) is a bit distrustful of you at first. she gets really anxious a lot about having a new person around but she ends up liking you

she's glad that you know how to handle yourself. it eases her worries whenever you have to split up outside in walker territory

tattoos aren't really her thing for herself, but she likes yours. she thinks they suit you and she'll tell you that after awhile

When you two got together, clem thought you were the sweetest, you would always take care of her, and AJ, you would read stories to her before bed, and you two hadn't kissed yet, I guess she was waiting for you to make the first move, and you were waiting for her to make the first move...that didn't happen, she would compliment you and she knew you would get flustered when she did,(ˢᵒ ˢʰᵉ ᶜᵒᵐᵖˡⁱᵐᵉⁿᵗᵉᵈ ʸᵒᵘ ᵐᵒʳᵉ ᶜᵘˢ ˢʰᵉ ᵗʰᵒᵘᵍʰᵗ ⁱᵗ ʷᵃˢ ᵃᵈᵒʳᵃᵇˡᵉ) eventually clem wanted affection like any other normal couple, so she had asked to kiss you and oh my god you turned a bright red like holy shit that shit was brighter than anyone's future in Ericson- sorry. She realised your flustered state and couldn't help but laugh a little, I mean you looked adorable trying to cool yourself down, by fanning your face with your hands, but she didn't force you or anything, you guys went slow when dating, and when you guys did kiss, for the first time you had no idea how to, so that made you even more nervous, it was like you still had a crush on your lover.

When you first arrived Louis was excited to meet you, you were so kind and sweet and understanding and your smile god it was the definition of perfection to him, and Louis flirts a lot, with everyone, so when you two got to know each other better he flirted with you for the first time, you didn't say anything so he looked at you to make sure he didn't say anything to offend you, but it turns out, that you were speechless and extremely red, he gave you a cocky smile before laughing a bit, "wow I think that's the first time I've left you speechless." when you to got together, he flirted with you in front of the others just to see you get flustered, the others would be glancing at you or just laughing, so when Louis was playing the piano for you he looked over, he wanted to kiss you, so he leaned in to kiss you, you were a bit shocked at first but accepted it kissing him back when you two separated, he leaned back chuckling, he would also tease you, but overall you were so adorable to him, the way you looked at him, the way you would look away when he said something to tease you, he loved you a lot.

Okay so Violet has been in a relationship with Minnie before, and she never really got bashful as much, she was just a bit antisocial, so when you first arrived you two became friends, and she thought you were okay, you were bubbly, also kinda sassy, so she didn't think much of it until she realised she ended up developing feelings for you, and oh god when she realized that's she had feelings for you, she dropped so many hints like she would give you some of her food, or she would hold hands with you, etc, so when you didn't get the hint, she became a little annoyed just a little bit, and then when you two were stargazing she finally told you, she was a bit embarrassed but she felt some weight lift of her shoulders, feeling a lot better she looked at you and you were a bright red like you looked like a tomato, she blinked a couple of times before asking of you were okay, anyway when you two got together, she leaned in for a kiss, your eyes were wide and your heart was beating so fast, once she pulled back she raised her eyebrow, before laughing, it was very obvious that you didn't know how to kiss but she didn't say anything, you were already red and she didn't want make you even more red, she loves you so much you are so sweet, and she loved when you blushed, or got shy, over small compliments, (she complimented you more after she found out you got red from compliments)

Mitch was just kinda busy sharpening his knife when you first arrived, he didn't think you were that special just like the others, but it turns out you two had a lot in common, one main thing that he liked about you was that you knew how to make these really cool knives, and that caught his attention, he thought you were so cool, you even knew tricks with them, so mitch would walk over and you would be making a knife or he would be watching you from afar practising throwing your knife, at the target, Mitch would watch you very closely, with admiration, (sorry if that's kinda creepy) and you looked so cool omg- but you, on the other hand, would be side eyeing Mitch like, why are you looking at me?

Anyways it made you extremely nervous and flustered so much so that you would be missing the target like your hands were sweaty, and you could tell that he kinda admired you, and when you would turn to look at him he would look away, but anyway, when you two got together, it took him quite a long time to show affection, like my guy didn't cuddle, he didn't really kiss you in front of the others, and you didn't mind because even though you two were a couple now, the thought was so embarrassing like you were basically a high school girl having a crush and going mental, I mean you were adorable though when he did peck your cheek or your forehead, he would watch red slowly form on your complexion, and when you would try to show him affection too by kissing him on his forehead or lips, you would always pull away with a red face, and he would just laugh.

When Marlon first saw you, you were surviving alone, and you seemed to be doing a very good job, but you were also in need of assistance, you were clearly hurt, so Marlon took you in, and Ruby patched you up, when you woke up you didn't seem to speak as much, but when he got to know you better you were a ball of sunshine, you were very sweet and you were always up to helping others, but what he loved, even more, was when you first saw Rosie you were so happy, she was so fricking adorable and you instantly started to treat Rosie like she was your own pet dog, you would always share your food with her and Rosie seemed to like you too, when you and Marlon got together, Marion would say give you small affections in front of others such as placing an arm around you, or kissing you on the cheek, it was only sometimes, but it would always get you extremely flustered, he thought you looked so adorable, and yes he would tease you a bit, but only sometimes, he just wanted to see that sweet face if yours turn red.

So, I don't know if your requests are open or not, but I'd like to request something for TWDG S4. It's basically the Ericsons' kids with an s/o who has naturally cold hands. Like, their hands are always cold even in the summertime. So the reader is kind of self conscious about it when holding hands for the first time. I guess what I'm asking for is the kids' reaction to the cold hands. Like if they'd try to warm them up and all that. Does that make sense? I feel like it doesn't. A/N: This is kinda hard for me to write since I'm usually the person with warm hands but I'll try my best😭 I also don't own these gifs!

Clementine

Having cold hands was always an issue for you growing up and it hasn't changed. Before it used to be your dad who would warm your hands up for you but when the apocalypse happened you lost him and your family. When you first met Clem she took notice to you having cold hands, how you would always rub your hands together or put your hands underneath your arms or between your thighs. When you guys started dating, even before you guys did, she would offer to warm up your hands for you.

"Cold?" Clem asked as she looked over to you. You were sitting beside her and your hands were between your thighs trying to warm them up. "Yea" You said simply. She smiled and took your hands and put them in hers. She cupped them and put her mouth to her hands and started to blow warm air on your hands. "We should find you some gloves to wear, babe" Clem suggested as she looked at you. You giggled lightly and agreed. "Maybe we can get matching ones" you joked. You could feel your hands warming up already. Clem smiled. "Of course, anything for you."

Marlon

It never really accrued to Marlon that you had cold hands until you guys started dating. He would go to grab your hand and it would be freezing. He would laugh a bit to himself and would warm up your hands without asking, he knows that you'll appreciate it.

"Hey, babe." Marlon would say with a smile as he came up the guard tower where you were keeping watch. You turned and flashed him a smile. "Hey" you answered back and turned to keep watch. He came up behind you and wrapped his arms around you, it was November and it was starting to snow a bit. Your hands started to get colder than usual, fingertips being white, blue even sometimes, from the cold. "How's your hands?" He hummed as he took your hands and looked at them, your fingertips were turning white a bit. You didn't say anything just blushed lightly and you heard him click his tongue. Without a second passing he turned you around and put your hands underneath his jacket and shirt, his skin was warm, very warm. You giggled and hugged him. "You treat me so well." you smiled as you looked up to him and rested your chin on his chest. He looked down and ran his hands on your lower back. "You know, my hands are also kinda cold too." he smirked before grabbing your ass, you squealed, he laughed. He gives it a good squeeze before leaning down and giving you a quick peck. "You going to let go now?" You asked. "Nope."

Mitch

For some reason you were always so embarrassed to hold Mitch's hand. Your hands always being cold and Mitch with his big mouth, you were scared he would be judgy about it.

"Come here" Mitch whispered to you. You guys were supposed to cleaning up the school but Mitch had other ideas. He grabbed into your hand and pulled you into on of the rooms. He closed the door and pushed you up against it, he looked down and then he felt his cold your hands were. You noticed and pulled you hand away with a blush. "It's noth-" "Why don't you tell me you have cold hands?" He cut you off as he grabbed both of your hands into his. He put your hands in between his and looked up to you. "I don't know, it's embarrassing" you mumbled. He frowned a bit before leaning down and kissing your fingers. "Don't be embarrassed, especially not with me."

Violet

Let's be honest, this girl also had cold ass hands. When she found out you also had cold hands she would try and warm them up, even if it doesn't work.

October mornings were always your favorite, even if the mornings were cold. You'd always sit outside looking at the sunrise, loving the feeling of the cool crisp air on your body, even if it did feel like you were freezing. Violet occasionally would join you watching the sunrise and you guys would cuddle and share a blanket trying to stay warm. "Fuck, it's so cold" Violet shivered as she brought you closer to her, her hands were cold on your body. You shivered and got closer to her, you were between her legs looking at the sunrise. "Gimme your hands" you said as you look her hands and brought them up to your chest and put her hands in your boobs. You felt her tense up before relaxing. You brought your hands down and put them underneath her thighs and sighed contently. "Better?" You asked. She nodded and stayed silent for a minute before talking. "Your boobs are warm."

Louis

He finds it so cute that your hands get cold. He loves it that you go to him for helping warming your hands up.

You guys were in bed just staring at the ceiling in silence. You both had just woken up and were laying together enjoying the moment. The room was cold, it's starting to snow which makes the school cold too. And your hands were freezing, to the point that they felt numb. An idea popped into your head, with a smile you rolled over and put your hands on Louis's stomach, making him scream. "Goddamn your hands are cold girl!" Louis exclaimed as he looked at you. You giggle and pulled him into a hug. "Warm me up" you mumbled into his chest, you could feel him shiver from your cold ass hands on his body. It took a second for him to adjust to the coldness, when he did he looked down and gave you a kiss on the forehead. "Always will."

You never told him, he found out by himself. Marlon was looking through the principal's office for shits and giggles, right? Then he came across an album that contained a picture of you and 2 other people. You all looked pretty young. That's how he knew it was before the walkers existed.

"Y/n, come here for a second." Marlon said, excitement in his tone. You walked over, and he helped you huddle down. "Look what I found!" He handed you the cd. "Oh my god! I forgot about this. Marlon, where'd you find it?" You asked in shock.

"I guess the headmaster had a copy. Y/n, I didn't see you as that type of girl." He teased, you took a relieved sigh. "What can I say? The chance was presented, so I took it." You rested your head on Marlon's shoulder.

"This was my favorite, I swear there was a Cd player layin around."

Violet:

She found out at another one of Ruby's hootenanny. It was time for music to play. A.J. and Willy was dancing with glee while Tenn hyped them up. You sat down and watched with Violet. Dancing just isn't your strong suit. "Now this song is more modern.

It was my Mama's favorite!" Ruby voiced, she played the song. the beat gave you deja vu. "Y/n, you alright? You look kinda pale." Violet asked with concern. You nodded your head. It was only when the first chorus started to play. You realized something.

It was the song you made with some other girls and made a song.. It was getting deadly close to your part of it. You started to sweat a bit. "You don't seem fine. What's wrong?" Violet muttered. She wrapped her hand around your shoulder

"This is my song. My part is coming up real soon." You chuckled out. before she could reply, your voice came on the player, bright as ever. Everyone and anybody looked at you in shock. "Wow, you sound really amazing." Violet claimed, "you think so?" You asked. "Yeah."

Louis:

He first found out through the card game. When Clementine asked if they ever met anyone famous, you decided to speak on your own experiences.

"Kinda, I was a part of singing trio. Those kinds of things. It was for 3 years, though.." Soon as you uttered those words, he started to flood you with questions. Did you ever blow up like crazy? What were your favorite tunes to perform? Oh, and where in the world are the other two? You seemed to like and entertain his questions.

Eventually, someone intervened, " Louis, knock it off!" But that didn't stop the both of you from fooling around somewhere else. Just two melodic idiots whistling into the distance.

Mitch:

You and Mitch had just found a working van capable of carrying a lot of people. But it needs a bit of renovation if everyone wants in. You bought Clementine, Willy, A.J., and Assim along. Mostly because Mitch and Clementine want this to be a learning moment for their adoptive siblings. But Assim is there to actually work. "Mitch and Y/n, we're going to need some parts to get this thing going. It'd be nice if you went and got us these things. Go out further if you have to." Clementine offered.

"Sure, anything to get out of here," Mitch exaggerated. Clem handed me the paper. It had all the car parts and where they're located.You two have been walking for a while. You came across a vehicle with some stuff inside, "Mitch, I found one." You yelled. He came over quick. "No walkers?" Mitch checked. "Nope," you reassured. He used a crowbar to force it open and then started to search.

You joined him, looking into the front seat. You found a rolled up poster in arm rest. You were about to unroll it until Mitch called your name, "Y/n! Come here, we really hit the jackpot!" Y/n came out with the poster in hand. Mitch was supposedly siphoning gas. A whole lot was coming out of the tube and in the canister. "Damn, this can last us a lifetime." You claimed. "What's that?" He asked, pointing to your hand. "A poster I found. Im gonna open it up right now." You told him. Mitch got up from the ground and standed next to her

Y/n unraveled it, only for a wave of shock to overrun her face. Mitch had catched a glimpse of it, too. "Holy shit, y/n- is that you?" He beamed, a picture of you and two other girls were holding bubble letters, spelling something out. A lot of junk was on it, so it wasn't readable. One word was crystal clear, "concert."

"It's been so long, I didn't even get to perform." You marveled. "How did you even get the chance?" He questioned. "Oh, I didn't mean it like that!"

Y/n sighed, "My parents were friends with one of the girls' mom. She got me on set." You paused, "if I remember the poster came with an cd. Maybe it's in here."

SUMMARY: How would the Ericson kids, plus Clementine and AJ, react to a strong Y/n?

CLEMENTINE

She’s impressed, to say the least. She didn’t willingly go over to you when you were working out and sit on your back while you did your pushups. You actually asked her to do it, because you were needing there to be more of a challenge in the act itself. She said no at first, saying how that was dangerous and that she didn’t want to hurt you, but then you pulled the question of: are you calling me weak? And she immediately widened her eyes and donned a look of regret. Obviously, she wasn’t calling you that, but with the accusatory suggestion, she sputtered for some sort of response, before she paused and just gave up.

In the end, Clementine gave in. You assured her that she couldn’t hurt you, and although she didn’t seem very convinced, she still nodded her head and lowered herself down to sit on your back. Her once unsure demeanor turned into pure laughter when you so easily brought her up and down. It felt like she was on some roller coaster, and with her giggling so hard, you couldn’t help but do so too. It turned the makeshift ride into a bumpy one, and eventually, the both of you fell to the floor due to how goofy the entire position seemed. At one point, your girlfriend snorted, and then you wheezed in response, which ensued even more laughter.

BRODY

Fuck no. There’s no way she’s going to willingly walk over to you and sit on your back. Already she’s blushing because she’s watching you work out. Yeah, you’re her partner and all, but still, she’s not about to embarrass herself by openly showing her sheepishness. But – oh shit, well… now you see her while you blindly do your pushups, and now she’s turning around and running out of the room as though she had just seen a murder happen. Of course, you call her name in her escape, but she doesn’t hear you as she busts through the door and disappears from your sight. 

It wasn’t difficult to tell that she was flustered. Especially when you came back to talk to Brody, and she could barely even look you in the eye. Hits you with the timid hi Y/n, and you’re just there, staring at her with slightly raised eyebrows that tell her you’re not going to leave her alone until she speaks about what happened earlier in the day. Though, with how stubborn this woman is, good luck on trying to get her to tell you that she was in fact blushing like a madwoman when she saw you so easily doing pushups. You’re going to be there for a while, so grab a book and get ready to wait for her warm cheeks to cool down. 

VIOLET

Violet seems pretty unfazed when she comes in and sees you working out. She’s seen you in the act of doing so before, so it’s not like that’s going to really bother her. She goes about her business as usual, and only ends up stopping and gawking at you like you’re crazy when you look over at her and tell her that these push ups are too easy. Of course, she ends up asking you how much you’ve done, and you give her this absolutely insane number, and then she looks at you as though you’ve just told her you bought her an engagement ring. Completely surprised and in disbelief. You chuckle in response, and that’s when she dons a blank look on her face and proposes an idea.

She says something like well if you need extra weight, then let me sit on your back. All you can do in response is stare at her like she’s crazy, before you eventually relax your expression and nod your head in agreement to that idea. You think, what could go wrong? It wasn’t like she suggested that she set a boulder on your back. It was just her, and it wasn’t like she was insanely heavy, either. You thought it was going to be a cakewalk, super easy, but then when she got on your back you completely forgot that balancing was now going to have to come into play. And so, after like five or ten reps, you lost your steadiness, and the both of you fell over. You were embarrassed at first, but then your girlfriend started cracking up, and you felt a little bit better about yourself after that.

RUBY

You asked her, and she immediately said no without any sort of hesitation. She thought it was way too dangerous, and she didn’t want you hurting yourself over something so stupid. She was overly expressive when she told you that, and you stood in front of her like a kicked puppy dog. You should have expected it, though. She was too maternal and not one to do risky things, especially if they had to do with you. Still, even after her lecture, you tried to convince, and all you got in response was, ask me again and you’re sleeping in the music room. And the music room provided no comfort, so you shut your mouth and stopped trying to sway your partner.  Ruby did say she would happily watch you work out, though. Spent the entire time flirting with you, so you definitely became warmer than you would have liked. You almost had to kick her out with how complimentative she was being. At one point, you had to stop what you were doing and stare at her with pleading eyes that said, please stop making me blush. And all she did in response was continue. You guessed it was payback in a way. You know, considering you tried getting her to sit on your back, which was way too dangerous in her eyes. How dare you do that!

AJ

He asked so many questions. Why are you working out? Don’t you technically work out when fighting the monsters? Why are you on the ground and bending your arms like that? Honestly, it was endearing at first, and then it started getting a little annoying, because you were trying to concentrate, and the boy’s curiosity was becoming too incessant. He’s cute, but he was also someone who couldn’t take a hint sometimes, so as a way to get him to silence himself for a moment, you tried getting him to workout himself. You said it would make him strong enough to protect Clementine, and he immediately jumped to doing your suggestion without a second thought.  But then eventually, that got old to him. He said how he was now tired, and he didn’t like feeling tired, because then that would cause him to fall asleep, and would prevent him from protecting Clementine. So, naturally, he walked over to you and without hesitation, asked if he could just sit on your back. The sudden curiosity in him sprouted again, so when you questioned him why, he responded with a shrug and said I don’t know, I just wanna see how strong you are. It seemed like a fair reason, so with a sigh, you let him sit on your back. He was light, so moving him up and down was easy, but the highlight of the time you spent with him was the little giggles that came from his lips as you raised him and lowered him. It was something you hadn’t heard come from him in a while, and it was refreshing to listen to.

WILLY

Very similar to AJ. Curiosity struck him. He asked a few questions, before he ended up eventually trying to do exactly what you were doing. He called it follow the leader, and his job was to match your actions. He struggled a lot though. Little man had noodle arms, so he could barely do a single pushup. It made him annoyed really quickly, and honestly, you didn’t blame him. So, instead of continuing with your workout, you got up and helped him out a bit. You showed him other ways one could do a pushup, and he went from a pouty expression to a wide grin in the matter of a minute when he attempted to do a wall pushup and succeeded with ease. 

Though his attention span was terrible. He went from being hyper focused on trying to do a pushup, to laying on your back. Homie plopped on you as though you were a mattress, and you let out the loudest groan as your arms buckled beneath you. Your chest thumped against the floor, and you laid there, while the blond hung over your body like a blanket. You told him to get the fuck off of you, but he only whined in response and said something like but I’m tired, and you’re so warm. You didn’t have enough patience to deal with him, so you managed to push him off of you, and he let out a yelp in return, before scampering to his feet and sprinting off, running away from you, because you were chasing after him with steam coming out of your ears. 

TENNESSEE

He’s definitely the most behaved out of AJ and Willy. He doesn’t want to sit on your back, even if you asked him to. He just likes being near you whenever you’re working out. It gives him someone to talk to when he has no one else to go to, and you don’t mind the company every once in a while. It’s a very quiet atmosphere mostly, and if he does ever take part in a proposal of yours, it’ll most likely be when you end up asking him if he wants to try doing a pull up. Surprisingly, he actually can do one. You end up feeling a little guilty though, because here you thought that he’d be the one who couldn’t.  Definitely enjoys when he can surprise you, though, so he’s not very offended or anything. He just smiles happily at you when you praise him, and then when you ask him if he can do something else, it quickly turns into a session of him just absolutely knocking your expectations out of the park. You just assumed he was a shy bookworm with no athletic ability, but you’ve been proved wrong. And here you are, watching him do some pull ups with your hands on your hips, as though you’re some proud parent. They grow up so fast.

MARLON

He ends up challenging you to a pushup contest. You had never seen him workout before, so you accepted the proposal without much thought. However, when he got down and started doing what you were doing, you were surprised with how long he lasted. He was able to do a lot, before he eventually lost all of his upper body strength and fell against the mat. As you continued your own pushups, you couldn’t help but laugh at him, and he awkwardly chuckled in reply, a little embarrassed that he wasn’t at least able to do more than fifteen. Still, you assured him that it was okay, and he didn’t have to be good at doing that type of exercise in order to be considered strong.

The thought of sitting on your back as you did your pushups did come to his mind, but he decided against asking and instead just sat and watched you do your thing. You and him made conversation throughout your workout, and he spotted you in anything that you didn’t have full confidence in doing. He was pretty much quiet, other than that, and you understood why. The blond was just a guy who didn’t like talking all that much. He was more observant than anything else, and there were even some moments where he went off and did his own workout, as he didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable because of his standing around. 

MITCH

He’s going to try and get you to sit on his back. He’s got way too much pride, so the idea of him sitting on your back while you do pushups is something that you’d have to pay him to do. He does propose the opposite, though. He mentions how he could easily do twenty pushups with you on his back, and you immediately disagree, and so he replies with bet you dinner that I can do it. Of course, you didn’t believe him, so you quickly agreed and let him get into position before you sat on his back. And… to no one’s surprise, when you did settle down, he immediately crumpled to the ground with a groan escaping him.

You called him a little bitch, as a joke, and he pushed you off him with a lighthearted fuck you. You cackled at the reply as you moved away from him, and he shook his head in amusement while he stood up to his feet and just settled on watching you do your thing, instead of trying to conjure up contests he knew he was going to lose. Unlike you and Marlon, you and Mitch would banter with each other the entire time. If you did twenty reps, he’d call you a pussy and say that you could totally do thirty. And you could… and the moment you would, he would immediately shut up and cross his arms over his chest like an angry kid. 

LOUIS

Definitely brings it up the moment he sees you doing pushups. Hey, how weird would it be if I just sat on your back while you did your pushups? You could only gaze at him in confusion when he asked that. Well, it wasn’t necessarily confusion, you were just at a loss of words. Why would he even suggest that? But then again, it is Louis, and so you can’t really wonder what goes on through his head much. He’s just a goofy guy, and you’ve learned to quickly remember that when he does ask very interesting questions. 

Eventually you agree to it. What could go wrong? Doesn’t hurt to try and see if you actually had the ability to do a pushup while someone sat on your back. What better way to try it out with your best friend? When he sits on your back and you actually do end up accomplishing his challenge, both of you are equally surprised, and he’s insanely impressed with your strength. Says something along the lines of if there’s ever a moment where I need someone to protect me, it’ll be you. In response to that, you can only roll your eyes, as he holds his hand against his chest and pretends to be absolutely amazed by you.

You walked into your and Marlon's room, entering quietly to see him already in bed with his back to you.

You closed the door behind you softly with a click. 

You walked around the room quietly to not wake him up but change.

You grabbed the shirt Marlon kept by the bed and replaced your shirt with it. 

Just after you slipped your head through the hole, you turned around and saw the boy staring at you.

Marlon had a grin on his face as he watched you.

"Really? Again?" You asked, almost laughing from his expression.

"What? You can't blame me." Marlon defended himself, putting his arms behind his head to see you better. 

"You don't need to pretend to be asleep, you idiot." You shot back, Marlon shrugged as you sat on the bed.

"Where were you? You left me alone." Marlon stated, almost poutih like a child.

"I was playing War with Louis and Clem." You put, getting a groan out of Marlon.

"Now I have to worry about them stealing my own Partner?" He mused, getting a grin out of you.

"Maybe. Who knows? Maybe I'll leave you for one of 'em." 

You smirked, turning away from him as he looked at you shocked.

"Playing dirty now, huh?" Marlon laughed.

You yelped as he wrapped his arms around your waist and brought you to his chest.

"Marlon!" You laughed, panicked as he began to tickle your sides.

Your sides hurt from uncontrollable laughter before Marlon finally decided to stop, falling back to the bed.

"You're a dick." You hugged, blowing a strand of hair out of your face one you caught your breath.

"You threatened to leave me for Louis or Clementine." Marlon defended.

"At least they didn't try and kill me." You waved off.

Marlon then shifted over to you to lay with his head on your chest.

"(Name), can-" Marlon asked, not opening his eyes but stopping as you began messing with his hair.

You both laid there for a little bit, Marlons sighs were the only sound as you closed your eyes finally.

"Okay, shut up. I'm going to sleep." You finally said, causing Marlon to slump as you stopped massaging his head.

You got comfortable, well, the best you could with a full grown man on your chest crushing you.

Also, the pokes on your cheek and sides kept you up.

"Holy fucking shit, what do you want?" You finally asked, looking at your chest to see his smug face.

"I love you." Marlon stated, almost proud of himself for annoying you.

(y/n) grunted as she opened her eyes in the bright room, the sun shone through the windows as it blinded her. she tried to sit up but a sharp pain clutched her ribs. “you were shot..” (y/n) turned her head towards the familiar voice, marlon. “marlon? what the fuck happened?” marlon frowned at your response. “you were out with louis on a hunting trip, i shouldve been there for you!” marlon stood up, towering over the bed as he looked at you, his eyes filled with sadness, anger and guilt

“it’s not your fault, musta’ been some asshole” she rolled her eyes, using her elbows to sit up ever so slightly. (y/n) signalled marlon to sit on the bed. he obeyed, sitting down, his eyes were kept on you, he scanned your body in case of any other injuries. “i’m not letting you out again. not unless im there, i can’t lose you like that (y/n)” she let out a small chuckle at his words. “i’m fine, aren’t i? you worry too much about me mar” his eyes widened at the nickname before he saw your smirk, damaging his pride slightly

“you’re special to me (y/n), it’s not like everyone else, when i see you, i wanna protect you. i want to keep you safe” marlon kept his eyes on yours, though, you were too flustered to keep the eye contact for long. “what are you trying to say marlon?” “im trying to say..” he paused, (y/n) bit her lip slightly in anticipation. “i’m trying to say i like like you” he took his eyes away, now they looked at basically anything that wasn’t (y/n).

(y/n) gave him a smile, “well.. i think i like like you too mar, somethin’ about you is so.. mesmerising?” she laughed at her own sentence. marlon turned his head towards her in shock, did she really like him back. “wait.. are you serious?” he couldn’t contain his smile, though he did try to fight it. “i’m serious.” marlon then scooted closer towards her, he glanced down at her lips. (y/n) knew what he was doing, she wanted him just as much as he wanted her. she nodded her head, giving marlon permission.

marlon closed his eyes and leaned in, giving a very small kiss on the lips. that wasn’t really enough to fill both of their needs however. When AJ used to sleep in the same room as you and Clem you would always and I mean always wear stuff to cover yourself up. Like pj pants and one of Clems hoodies. But when AJ moved into Tenns room you wore less. Like wearing short shorts and one of Clems shirt or just wearing your panties and the shirt you wore that day. At first Clem didn't think much of it, thinking you were just getting more comfortable since there isnt a little kid around anymore but soon she started taking a liking to it.
