Compromises which bring fundamental principles into doubt, in order to unite in one party men of antagonistic creeds, are frauds, and end in ruin, the just and natural consequence of fraud. Whenever you have settled upon your theory and creed, sanction no departure from it in practice, on any ground of expediency. It is the Master’s word.

Statue of Metjetji

EGYPTIAN, CLASSICAL, ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN ART

Metjetji, the subject of this statue, is also depicted in the two wooden statues nearby. In this case he is shown in later life, with the long kilt of a senior official and, as viewed from the side, a rather flabby torso. The expensive addition of inlaid stone eyes with copper rims suggests that this was considered the most important of Metjetji’s statues. A large head, big eyes, and very long fingers often appear on statues of this time; here they seem to suggest wisdom and maturity.

Sam is Adopted

So! Have you ever noticed how Sam doesn't look like either of her Parents? Her Mom and Dad are Blonde and Ginger, and neither of them have Purple Eyes. How would Sam ever come from either of them?

She tells people that she dyes her Hair and wears Contacts, but the reality is that she was adopted as a baby by them. They had just found out that Pamela was Infertile and they wanted an Heir foe their company, so they decided to Adopt a kid.

But the Adoption Agency didn't have any kids who would realistically look like them, so they just got the first kid they found.

She had been left at the Orphanage by her Mother citing an inability to raise her and an unstable income. She never told the Agency her name, but told them that the baby's name was Sam, named after her Grandfather.

Sam was raised knowing that she was Adopted, but never really put much interest into it. Until one day when she decided that her adoptive Parents support of the Anti Ecto Acts was a step too far for her. She took an Ancestry DNA Test to see if she could find her Bio Mom to get away from them.

The results came back, and she found out that her Mom was a woman from Metropolis named Lois Lane.

Speaking of the Master or thoschei and 70-80s rock, I again have to make it clear just how freaking much Pink Floyd's Wish you were here album fits these two freaks. Like, The Wall, the story of a sensitive man turning into a fascist leader because the safest place you can be is behind your wall, that's the Master's ultimate album. But Wish you were here? with its sorrow and longing for a connection in a lonely crowd, inspired by the friend you watched collapsing into madness while you chose your own path? That's just too insanely freaking fitting. Like, fuck's sake, tell me this is not the summary of everything the Doctor tries to tell the Master:

But first-

I say “relationship,” but the two never properly are a thing at any point lol.

I found a cute pose on Pinterest, and for some reason, because TMF was on the brain, that I should use it as an opportunity to draw Nina and Jeff together. It’s most likely not canon, if it is, Jeff was somehow bribed along into this lmao. But it’s cute, and I’m happy with how it came out.

But yeah, as stated before, these two are anything but healthy. Nina’s crush turns into borderline obsession and becomes very stalkery, due to her flaw or easily becoming way too attached to people and fear of abandonment thanks to trauma. And Jeff most likely sees her nothing but an accessory and an ego boost. Having a girl so into him rocks, but he hates the clingyness, only really bothering to deal with her for compliments. Maybe a small part of him liked her, but all that is thrown away when he’s burned.

Anyway, this art was fun to do, I liked doing the little Snapchat affect. Nina’s just so happy to spend time with the boy she likes, poor oblivious girl.
