In Matrimelee, you can throw Kuroko, the referee, at your opponent.
Meanwhile, Pelswick had a wrestler throw the referee at his opponent 3 years before Matrimelee was released.

Can you list your favourite videogames that have magical girls? I would love to have some cool videogame recommendations
YouTube Channel Cuarto Freaky AFK has 8 videos about Magical Girl games! Here's Part 1 to get you started:
But, here are my all-time favorites:
Purikura Daisakusen* (Arcade, SEGA Saturn);
Magical Pop'n (SNES/Super Famicom);
Twinkle Star Sprites (Arcade, SEGA Saturn);
Mystic Riders (Arcade);
Pu.Li.Ru.La (Arcade, PS1);
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Mega Drive);
Magical Chase (PC Engine, GBC);
Magical Girl Critical (Android app);
Fushigi no Yume no Alice (PC Engine);
Cotton series (various consoles/platforms);
PuyoPuyo series** (various consoles/platforms).
*This one is a spinoff of ATLUS' fighting game Power Instinct Matrimelee, protagonized by one of its playable characters, Hananokoji Clara.
**I enjoy both Compile and Sonic Team versions, though I like Sonic Team's aesthetics/visuals more!

Power Instinct Songs Ranked by Me (Part 8 of 8)
10. Namida no... -Reggae Version- (Gogetsuji Legends)
Same as number 11, but this one has a reggae beat to it. Which I apparently like better. I guess.
9. Otoko no Karatemichi Part II (Power Instinct 2)
My personal favorite rendition of Otoko no Karatemichi. While it lacks the second verse, it does have a nice hip hop section in the second half... at least I think it's hip hop. I wish I knew how to tell musical genres apart.
8. Eiyuu ni Naritai (Sawayaka Version) (Power Instinct 2)
Keith's Round 3 stage theme, and my favorite of Keith's themes in Power Instinct 2, as well as the rest of the series. I have no idea why Keith gets three different themes in PI2 while everyone else only had one, but they're all an improvement over the OG Eiyuu ni Naritai of PI1.
7. Mosh! Kuwa! (Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku: Bonnou Kaihou)
The final boss theme of Bonnou Kaihou, and my second favorite final boss theme. It's got a real nice beat to it, and I could dance to it if I weren't so self-conscious about how I look dancing.
6. Time is Tango (Groove on Fight)
I like the phonographic sound of this song, when I compare it to the other tracks in the game. Of course, it sounds that way because there's a record player in the stage that it plays in. It wouldn't be Power Instinct if they don't show where the music is coming from, be it a phonograph or a band of musicians.
5. M.A.D. (Groove on Fight)
When I compiled this list I wasn't sure whether I liked M.A.D. better or Time is Tango. So I decided I'd choose one, and have the other one follow it right after. I decided on M.A.D. Maybe because I could mentally dance to it better than Time is Tango (I don't know how to tango).
4. Let's Go! Onmyouji (Matrimelee/Bonnou Kaihou)
Ah, yes, the "meme" song. Well, maybe it's a meme because it's just that good of a song.
3. Bozu de Dadada (Power Instinct)
Fun fact: if you listen closely, you can hear the buddhist monks chanting during the instrumental break. If you know Japanese and/or the lyrics, you can hear that they're chanting about food. Thin Nen and his band of monks are not very pious, you see. Also, 90s EDM for the win!
2. Day of the Killer (Power Instinct)
I am rocking out to this song as I'm typing this.
Osanba Samba (Gogetsuji Legends)
Here it is, my favorite Power Instinct song of all time. Made even better by the dancers in the background (as seen here). But even on it's own, it still slaps. I love it!
Well, that's it. I made a tierlist on tiermaker.com where you can rank all the songs for yourself (except for the two unused PS1 songs, because I forgot and was lazy). Have fun?

NEOGEO 네오지오 #112 호혈사일족 (新豪血寺一族 闘婚-Matrimelee- / Shin Goketsuji Ichizoku)

The magical girl of the day is Clara Hananokoji!
Series: Power Instinct 2 (1994)
Age: 13, 14 (Matrimelee, 2003) 15 (Purikura Daisakusen (1996), Senzo Kyou (2009)
Seiyuu/VA: Japanese - Kotono Mitsuishi (1994-1995), Masayo Kurata (1996-2009)
Clara enters the Goketsuji tournament after gaining magical powers and a heart shaped wand from a mysterious wizard. Clara's ultime dream for the tournament? To marry a rich man, as winning the tournament would give her the option to travel and find her ideal man. In Matrimelee her goal is to marry a prince, which is the prize of the third Goketsuji tournament she's participated in. Her super form, Super Kurara, is a grown woman who fits with brass knuckles and roller skates in exchange from her previous magical items. After Matrimelee Kurara's name was changed to "Clara."
Clara's appearance is based off previous magical girls such as Creamy Mami and Sailor Moon and as such she can transform/disguise her appearance to fit her needs. She also shares Sailor Moon's VA, Kotono Mitsuishi for the first two Power Instinct games she appeared in.
