I have thought a little too much about my ideal superpower, its drawbacks, and how I would work with it. It's freezing time except for me and the things I am in contact with. This would mean outlet type electricity and wireless networks would not function in frozen time, and therefore, technology would be useless to me. Thankfully, I like books and naps. Most of my stuff like notes and fanfics would not work as they are digital, but like. My mobile devices would not take complete network isolation very happily. And the time incongruities it would continuously log would get me outed as a time freezer if I tried, so I really don't want to be messing with tech in frozen time lest I get dragged off to a secret lab. And if anyone remembers the youtube thing from a while back about how superpowers have a lot of unconsidered drawbacks- time freezing would mean that I would seem to age faster than the people around me. Because of the natural deterioration of DNA over time. My solution: not living my life using my power at every inconvenience. Sleep when I need it. Book breaks every now and again for peace of mind, but not every day. It's not good to be entirely isolated anyways. Feel free to poke holes at this, it gives me more things to think about in my free time(lol)

decide to set my becmi/osric campaign on the inside of an O'Neill cylinder because science fantasy solves a lot of the 'historical' issues of fantasy and it would be a really striking space to explore -> realise an O'Neill cyclinder has to rotate once every two minutes to maintain artificial gravity ~1G -> waking up in a cold sweat trying to imagine how a longbowman making a shot at maximum range would have to account for coriolis effect -> waking up in a cold sweat trying to imagine how a vulture would catch a mouse when vultures commonly hover at such a height that they would be at effectively zero-G (good luck diving lol) and zero velocity while their prey zoomed by at 900 km/h on the surface (with a bird of prey hovering at a lower height, like a kestrel, this issue persists in lesser form as they would be at lower gravity and rotational velocity to the surface. Also when rising they would retain angular momentum from the surface and would have a curved flight path to spinward when attempting to fly straight up aaaaaaa)
