Billy and Mandy remember when that was a thing. . . . . . #grim #thegrimadventuresofbillyandmandy #maxwellatoms https://www.instagram.com/p/CpctYgruPfb/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
It’s been like three years since Cartoon Network passed on it, so it’s probably okay to finally share all the character art I secretly did once for a series pitch by @maxwellatoms. He sent me the pitch bible with a bunch of character concepts, and I sent back lots of different sketches while he picked out the features he liked and guided their final designs. Some barely changed from his original drawings while others wound up heavily redesigned.
Not sure I can really divulge that much more detail, but if you hadn’t already seen the couple characters I shared on my patreon forever ago, you can guess the premise of this show from the fact that the hero is both a space captain and a vampire. My favorite character overall would have had to have been an even split between the friendly but cowardly xenomorph (broke free from their hive mind to enjoy individuality at the cost of now having a concept of death), and the lady robot “doctor” (imperfectly repurposed combat droid)
Had it ever become a show it would have been the first and only TV I ever got involved with. I even got a Warner Brothers paycheck for this!
Today's new episode of Teen Titans GO!, which took 3 weeks to actually air (finally), means a LOT to me, but Cartoon Network characters being part of the TTG WB 100th Anniversary Special made this special all the more...
A worthy successor to the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode "Crossover Nexus" in terms of @cartoonnetwork lore.
Oh, and as if Tom and Jerry and the work of Genndy Tartakovsky showing up wasn't already special enough; that and the work of @maxwellatoms showing up is to die for!
Say @chrisbattleart ; aren't you a bit jealous of not getting to work on the later TTG episodes?
I consider this part of Cartoon Network's 30th Birthday year since it was supposed to air in September 2023, but apparently some slight revisions had to be made (assuming that it isn't Warner Bros. Discovery's fault or David Zaslav's fault).
Today is @maxwellatoms' 50th birthday, so I decided to put apart my mental issues aside to do something for that, just like I did for the 40th (see here). This time I decided to make something based on that cancelled project he worked for during the 2010's: "Dead Meat".
Sorry for not being active around here, but since I deal with some mental issues, I don't really like Tumblr so much (I find it very complicated), and no one actually cares, I'm not here so much.
(No, they're not Santa and Frosty. The title is a reference to a line that Billy the pilot.)
This may or may not be a thank you gift for the man himself, @maxwellatoms (I almost lost it out of happiness at school). I've been a fan of Billy and Mandy since winter break, since it's funny and I really enjoy it. I also like the characters of the show.
I'm also happy to see more coming up in the future, so I drew it to celebrate that as well.
I drew Grim with King Boo from Mario for obvious reasons. I love the way this turned out ass well, and I hope you like it too!
I designed this logo for Billy and Mandy Destroy Us All for @maxwellatoms, should he be able to get the movie up and running, hopefully on Adult Swim at the least.
Hey guys, @demonangelgirl134 here. This is an au I've been wanting to do for a while now
Like I said in that post in my main blog, here, even though Grim is the leader of the trio, he's also the runt of the group at the same time, Death is the jokester of the trio who likes to mess with the other two for fun just because he loves them and never really means any harm, and Hazen is the dark and emo one whose not really much for conversation, but still deeply cares about his friends deep down even though he doesn't always show it
A light hearted (though NSFW) mix of spooky jams for your spoopy season!
Many thanks to @maxwellatoms for the recommendation of SPF 1000 (there's a bunch of bands with amazing names on this playlist!), and for Brains!, naturally! 🎃

Fitting for the end of National Teacher Appreciation Week; AKA US Teacher Appreciation Week 2024 (tweet 1 and 2)
Seriously though; my heart were pounding as I saw her making her Checkered Past debut... (tweet here)
I think that I became subconsciously attracted to her in the Spring of 2009 with a rerun of the Chris Reccardi-boarded "Substitute Creature", but this year's Checkered Past debut of "Detention X" made her instant waifu to me (and—spoiler alert—she almost legit died in that one). Thanks @maxwellatoms for creating one of the loveliest dolls in the history of Cartoon Network originals! (and the same to @ianwasseluk @brettvaron @vincentwaller and the rest of the crew)
Oh, but let us not to forget that other great teacher in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy — the Squid Hat of Toadblatt's! (tweet here)
