What It Was Like A talk given at a meeting of Oregon NARAL in January 2004 «My friends at NARAL asked me to tell you what it was like before Roe vs. Wade. They asked me to tell you what it was like to be twenty and pregnant in 1950 and when you tell your boyfriend you're pregnant, he tells you about a friend of his in the army whose girl told him she was pregnant, so he got all his buddies to come and say, "We all fucked her, so who knows who the father is?" And he laughs at the good joke. They asked me to tell you what it was like to be a pregnant girl—we weren't "women" then—a pregnant college girl who, if her college found out she was pregnant, would expel her, there and then, without plea or recourse. What it was like, if you were planning to go to graduate school and get a degree and earn a living so you could support yourself and do the work you loved—what it was like to be a senior at Radcliffe and pregnant and if you bore this child, this child which the law demanded you bear and would then call "unlawful," "illegitimate," this child whose father denied it, this child which would take from you your capacity to support yourself and do the work you knew it was your gift and your responsibility to do: What was it like? I can hardly imagine what it's like to live as a woman under Fundamentalist Islamic law. I can hardly remember now, fifty-four years later, what it was like to live under Fundamentalist Christian law. Thanks to Roe vs. Wade, none of us in America has lived in that place for half a lifetime. But I can tell you what it is like, for me, right now. It's like this: If I had dropped out of college, thrown away my education, depended on my parents through the pregnancy, birth, and infancy, till I could get some kind of work and gain some kind of independence for myself and the child, if I had done all that, which is what the anti-abortion people want me to have done, I would have borne a child for them, for the anti-abortion people, the authorities, the theorists, the fundamentalists; I would have borne a child for them, their child. But I would not have borne my own first child, or second child, or third child. My children. The life of that fetus would have prevented, would have aborted, three other fetuses, or children, or lives, or whatever you choose to call them: my children, the three I bore, the three wanted children, the three I had with my husband—whom, if I had not aborted the unwanted one, I would never have met and married, because he would have been a Fulbright student going to France on the Queen Mary in 1953 but I would not have been a Fulbright student going to France on the Queen Mary in 1953. I would have been an "unwed mother" of a three-year-old in California, without work, with half an education, living off her parents, not marriageable, contributing nothing to her community but another mouth to feed, another useless woman. But it is the children I have to come back to, my children Elisabeth, Caroline, Theodore, my joy, my pride, my loves. If I had not broken the law and aborted that life nobody wanted, they would have been aborted by a cruel, bigoted, and senseless law. They would never have been born. This thought I cannot bear. LeBron James on Caitlin Clark: My advice to Caitlin, or to anyone that comes in with this level of notoriety, out-of-this-world expectation… be a horse, man. (…) Put your blinders on, go to work, show up to work, punch your clock in, prepare yourself, work on your game, work on your craft. You know… kind of keep your mouth shut and just learn from the vets. If they ask, voice your opinion, if they want your opinion that early on. Because everybody is looking for you to say anything and they’re gonna splice it and cut it, and make it a negative thing. And I think for her, the one thing that I love that she’s bringing to her sport, more people want to watch. More people want to tune in. I saw for the first time, that they had a charter plane. For the first time in their league history, they flew private. That should be celebrated in its own right. Anyone that’s in sports that’s flown commercial, flown charter… that should be celebrated and it’s because of Caitlin Clark. Don’t get it twisted, don’t get it fucked up. Caitlin Clark is the reason why a lot of great things are gonna happen for the WNBA. But for her individually, I don’t think she should get involved in nothing that’s being said. Just go, have fun, enjoy. People need to realize that the Indiana Fever, this is the second year in a row that they’ve had the number one pick. So you know what that means? That means they’re not that good. (…) People are just crazy about why she should be doing this, and they should be doing that. “If she’s so great, this team…” Like, it’s still a team game, people. But I’m rooting for Caitlin because I’ve been in that seat before. I’ve walked that road before. I hope she kills. I hope Aliyah Boston does amazing. I hope they do great. I’m just kind of in this mode right now, because I’m getting the same thing from watching my son, who’s a nineteen-year-old, get a lot of animosity and hatred towards him when he’s just a kid trying to live out his dream. There’s a very small number of men and women that actually get to live out their dream of playing a professional sport. We have grown ass men and women out here doing whatever they can to try to make sure that does not happen. That is the weirdest thing in the world, but it is what it is, and I’m glad that Caitlin has a great head on her shoulders, she seems like it. I don’t even think I’ve met her before, but it seems like everything is gonna be great for her because she’s a great talent and she seems like a great gal. I hope she turns that franchise around to where Tamika Catchings had it at one point.

So, we all want Damian to be in a team with kids in his age group. But hear me out...

Damian, Jon (not aged up because fuck bendis), Colin, Suren, Maya, Mara and (maybe?) Respawn.

And then a different team including other kids:

Irey, Jai, Tai, Lian, Arthur Curry Jr (he shouldn't have been killed),Derek James (Sideways) and Khalid Nassour (Dr. Fate).

These two teams would definitely have a rivalry and always try to one up each other. Maybe they'd end up at the same crime scene and would be forced to work together...

There are so many content that could emerge from this.

Also Damian and Lian would be the leaders of their respective teams and they'd either hate each other at the first sight or secretly become friends and pretend to hate each other to troll their teams.

Injustice: SuperMoves

Here’s the supermoves that I have come up with for the characters of Earth-66.

FireWing (Jake Grayson)

StarBolt Fist: does a short range StarBolt “shockwave blast” stunning the opponent to start it. Jake then throws a smoke bomb in their face to distract them & then does the spilts & punches them in the crotch, causing the opponent to hold that area. Jake does a backwards roll back onto his feet, charges up a StarBolt & runs & punches the opponent causing a green explosion.

NightStar (Mar’i Grayson)

StarBolt Fury: Mar’i flys at the opponent with a double fist punch. She then uppercuts the opponent, sending them to space & mar’i unleashes some starbolts at them. After that, she quickly fly past the opponent & charges up a StarBolt in her hand & presses the energy ball into her opponent sending them back down to earth.

ThunderHeart (Irey West)

Better than the West: Irey shoulder charges her opponent. She then strikes her opponent multiple times with her super speed, & the camera gets real close to the opponent’s face, & on the side shows Irey’s. Irey then gives the opponent a wedgie, & she giggles.

Surge (Jai West)

Here comes the Boom: Jai unleashes lighting onto the ground to hit the opponent. He then rubs his hands together really fast to create electricity & starts thunderclapping at the opponent saying: you’ll get a thunderclap!

WonderBoy (Robert Long)

Bring the Thunder: Robert does a dashing slash at the opponent. Robert then gains blue electric hair & eyes & tackles the opponent (raiden’s move from MK) & flys them into the air. He quickly moves above his opponent & says: “Thunder!” A lightning strike hits the opponent & sends them back to the ground.

Red Cat (Lian Harper)

Bow-and-Baton: Lian does a baton spin at the opponent. Lian shoots a boxing glove arrow at the opponent’s face, sending them onto their back, & Lian gets on top of them & starts hitting them with her baton. (Yup that’s it XD)

Kid Tempest (Cerdian)

Purple Pain: Cerdian launches a water ball at the opponent. Cerdian shoots fire at the opponent, knocking them on their back, he then jumps up into the air & shoots purple laser beams causing an explosion.

SunSlinger (Jon Kent)

Sun-Noon: Jon does a super/freeze breath at the opponent. Jon whips out his revolvers, twirls them & aims the opponent, (camera shirts to fps) Jon moves the gun & shoots the opponent: foot, knee, & shoulder, knocking them onto their back. Jon then superleap towards them & charges up his gun & launches two shots at them causing an explosion.

Robin V (Damian Wayne)

Lazarus Assassin: pretty much Damian’s super move from injustice 2 but with a green aura around him XD

WonderLad (Hunter Trevor)

Pretty much the same as Robert’s but red/orange; god of war mode. Shouts War & a meteor hits his opponent.

AquaBoy (Arthur Curry Jr.)

Pretty much Aquaman’s super move from injustice 2 but with a megaldon shark instead.

HawkBoy (Hector Hall)

Sky Hawk: Hector does a downward slam with his mace, hitting the opponent. Hector grabs the opponent & takes them to the sky, & starts hitting them with his mace in different directions. (hawk girls super move from injustice)

Green Canary (Connor Lance Queen)

The Green Canary (XD): Connor does a short burst canary cry & hits the opponent. Connor shoots a bomb arrow into the sky & another at the opponent knocking them on their back, connor then uses the canary cry on top of the opponent & then jumps away to safety when the other bomb arrow comes down to hit the opponent causing an explosion.

PhantomWing (Chris Kent)

The Nightwing: Chris does a short burst heat vision that hits the opponent. Chris then wraps his opponent’s legs with his dark powers & slams them on the ground behind him & back in front of him. Chris flys into the air & summons the NightWing entity & it shoots out a giant blue & black ball of “dark flames” at the opponent causing a blue explosion.

StarChild (Otho-Ra)

Star Wrath: Otho-Ra does a flying blue energy “Superman punch” hitting the opponent. Otho then summons a blue energy sword & a shield that’s in an S symbol shape & begins to attack the opponent with them. After shield bashing her opponent, knocking them fall on their back, she jumps up into the air & shoots out blue heat vision at the opponent causing an explosion.

Red Son (Osul-Ra)

Fight Master Fury: Osul-Ra does a flying red energy “Superman punch” hitting the opponent. Osul-Ra summons a red energy battle axe & begins hacking at the opponent. After the final hit, the opponent is laying down on their back & Osul jumped into the air & slammed the battle axe onto the opponent, causing a red explosion.

Valor (Connor Kent)

Brave Rage: connor does a short range telekinetic blast & hits the opponent. Connor then grabs the opponent & flys to the glaciers & slams the opponent into it, & starts rapidly punch the opponent as fast as he can. He then finishes the beat down with a blast of heat vision causing an explosion. (The beat down at the glacier is from the tv series Young Justice where superboy beats down mammoth.)

Animal Girl (Maxine Baker)

Red Rage: just cheetah/vixen’s super move from injustice 2 but with a red energy glow around her.

Animal Boy (Clifford Baker)

Same as his sister’s.

Red Bird (Mara Al Ghul)

Demon Assassin: pretty much just like Damian’s but with a red aura.

Nobody (Maya Ducard)

Nobody Assault: Maya does a short burst Sonic blast at the opponent. Maya takes out a sword & starts slashing the opponent, & then turns invisible. The camera shifts towards the opponent & shows Maya behind them. She then kicks the opponent in the crotch, dropping them to their knees & Sonic blasts between their head. (One hand on one side & another hand on the other side.)

Beacon (Kathy Branden)

Purple-Telekinetic: Kathy does a short range telekinetic blast to hit the opponent. She then lifts & throws the opponent into the air (with the background changing to a farm) & quickly flys above the opponent & blasts them down. Kathy then does a massive shockwave released from her Body.

Crowly (Colin Wilkes)

Pretty much his “punch fatality” from the mortal kombat post of mine except more kid friendly. (He does get big & grabs the opponent & “super-punches” them across the screen to start it.)

FlameBird (Suren Darga)

Flaming FlameBird (XD): Suren does a short range fire blast at the opponent. Suren “summons” the FlameBird & they both grab the opponent & fly up into the air, the FlameBird does a pose in front of the sun & then Suren does a energy wave sending the opponent to the ground with a FlameBird logo. (Think of Liu Kang’s dragon symbol after you preform his fatal blow from MK1)

pavitr x reader

pavitr didn’t know why his senses didn’t set off when his auntie came close to the two of you; her gaze wasn’t cold nor did it give off a bad vibe for pavitr.. his eyes had one of panic.. panic and desperation to get you two out of the situation you somehow had gotten into..

“ …uhh hi maya auntie!” pavitr moved away from you almost instantly; the look of pain on your face made his heart sink… he didn’t want to hurt you; he was just scared his aunt wouldn’t accept you, fear that his aunt would prefer him to be with someone who was like them, someone indian; which judging by your features, you were not.

“ …pavitr..who is that?” his aunt spoke; as she stared down at you; her gaze didn’t set off any alarms in pavitr’s head; but his mind was still running all over the place; the two of you were sat.. eating lunch together in a nearby building from pavitr’s home.. you two had recently started dating, and he wanted to share a few of his favorite foods with you.. some of his favorite dishes from his culture.. pavitr slowly put the naan he had in his hand down and chewed on his lip; “ uh…this is..” it’s not like he was ashamed of you.. because he wasn’t..

pavitr loved you.. more than anything; you knew that.. well not in this moment. which made you speak up yourself. “ im pavitr’s partner.. [name]” you let an awkward smile make its way to your face; before you covered your mouth because you had just introduced yourself with your mouth full of a samosa.

his auntie, who you now knew was named maya.. giggled at your little introduction; and your appearance; a smile filled her face; your mouth was full; your lips stained with hints of curry here and there.. and pieces of rice sticking around your mouth, as well as your fingers covered in curry and single pieces of rice sticking to your fingers as well; your eyes had a look of panic in them; to be so messy in front of your boyfriend’s aunt made you embarrassed; as you quickly grabbed a few napkins and wiped your hands and your mouth.

“…Aw!” that certainly wasn’t what pavitr expected to come out if her mouth. “ why didn’t you tell me? “ his maya auntie gently nudged him; a grin on her face as she pulled up a chair to you two’s table; sitting right in the middle of you two; “ oh my goodness! I have stories to tell you! I always dreamed of telling such things to whoever pavitr bought home..but he never did.” she forced a frown; and the embarrassment was obvious on pavitr’s face. “ …maya auntie..please don’t-“ his words fell on deaf ears; stories upon stories.. questions upon questions.. by the end of it.. you and pavitr’s auntie seemed to have an amazing relationship begin to blossom; although you ate way more cleanly than you did when it was just you and pavitr..

you glanced over at your boyfriend for the first time in the last hour and his head was in his hands; embarrassment evident in his face; as his auntie had just finished telling you how he nearly burned the house down because he forgot about the tea he sat on the stove; while she was exaggerating the story; and that was obvious.. it was still painfully embarrassing for your boyfriend to have these memories brought up.. after he tried so hard to shove them down.

“ hey..auntie?” you spoke; stopping her in the middle of her sentence

“ yes dear?”

“ im gonna go to the bathroom… and i need pavi to show me where it is.. we’ll be back, kay?”

she gave a nod as you dragged your boyfriend to god knows where.. you certainly didn’t

“ what’s the matter? you know where the bathroom is..?” pavitr spoke; this wasn’t the first time you guys had been here; last time you two celebrated that you had found the bathroom without help..

“ I just..wanted to make sure you were okay without making your aunt feel bad..you looked pretty upset.” you spoke softly; a frown on your face as pavitr let a grin play on his lips, he was fine.. just embarrassed. but the fact you cared enough to notice his change in mood and take him somewhere private to ask.. it made his heart skip a beat!

“…im okay, love.” he spoke softly.. he wasn’t embarrassed anymore.. more or so excited… because this moment made him feel loved.. his heart was happy.. and was pounding so hard he could hear it in his ears.

“ okay..just..let me know if anything makes you feel some type of way..and I won’t entertain it.. okay?” you spoke; mostly gesturing towards how you’d been giggling at the stories his auntie was telling you; wrapping his arms around you; pavitr pulled you in, your tight curls tickling his nose.

“..okay.” he spoke softly and pressed a kiss to the top of your scalp.

Earth-66: Mortal Kombat (intros, outros, fatalities)

FireWing (Jake Grayson)

Intro: runs towards camera & does a cartwheel, when his hand is on the floor, he pushes off the floor & goes into the air & does a superhero landing. He pulls out his custom made escrima sticks & twirls it.

Pre-fight (shown in MK1 2023): after being hit back by an opponent, he does a backflip & lands like Spider-Man & whips out his escrima sticks & light it up with his starbolts.

Outro: he charges his sticks with starbolt energy & puts the tips against each other & unleashed it creating a blue Nightwing logo.

Fatalities:

Star Slicer: Jake powers up his escrima sticks to create energy blades, he first chop off his opponents hands & then their stomachs, having their intestines fall out, & then chop off their head sending it into the air. When the head is falling down closer to the body, Jake then downward slashes the head & the body in half.

StarStinker: Jake powers up his escrima sticks with starbolts, turns around butt first towards the opponent, puts the sticks near his behind & creates a flamethrower using his farts setting the opponent on fire. He then smiles, fans the air around his nose & says: ewww! Who cut the cheese?

NightStar (Mar’i Grayson)

Intro: two starbolts are shot onto the ground & mar’i appears twirling into view with hair on fire. (Starfire’s intro from injustice 2)

Pre-fight: she powers up with a purple aura with her hair glowing purple & creates two starbolts & then pounds her fists together to create a small shockwave.

Outro: mar’i walks like a supermodel down a runway, twirls, & flies into the air with a smile on her face.

Fatalities:

Star Barrage: mar’i charges her starbolts in her hand & blasts the opponent; both arms & chest revealing their heart beating. The opponent falls to their knees & mar’i blasts their head off.

The Flying Grayson: using her starbolts, mar’i launches herself high into the air, & while coming down, she does a quadruple somersault & lands on the opponent shoulders (powerbomb wrestling position) & stabs the opponents face with a starbolt energy blade. Then she does a hurricanrana, ripping the head off with the spine attached.

ThunderHeart (Irey West)

Intro: she appears onto the screen using her super speed & takes off her hood. She then says: “can’t catch me!” And spits a raspberry. (The flash intro from injustice)

Prefight: she vibrates & gets into a battle position.

Outro: she gets into a running position & runs towards the camera, an electric heart appears behind her.

Fatalities:

Spin around: Irey appears behind the opponent using the speed force (how flash appears as an opponent in injustice 2) & kicks the opponent between the legs causing them to fall onto their knees. She then holds onto the opponent’s head & using her super speed, runs a circle around them twisting their head 360 degrees.

Around the world: Irey appears behind the opponent & gives them a wedgie, dropping them to their knees. She then runs around the world & infinite mass punches her opponent in the face causing it to fly. (The flash’s special move in injustice 1)

Surge (Jai West)

Intro: runs into frame, create lightning between his hands & shoots it short range.

Prematch: rubs hands together using super speed to create lightning & claps his hands together to create a thunderclap; causing a shockwave.

Outro: creates an electric ball in one of his hand & dashes towards the camera hands pointing out. (Think of chidori from naruto)

Fatalities:

Power Clap: Jai rubs his hands together to create lighting & shoots it towards the opponents chest creating a hole. The opponent falls to their knees & Jai then does a thunderclap between the opponent’s head, causing it to explode. Jai says: “and you get a thunderclap!”

Surge Shock: Jai appears behind the opponent & put his electric hands on his opponent’s butt & shocks them; burning the opponent. Jai then fans the area near his nose & says: something stinks.

Red Cat (Lian Harper)

Intro: Lian zip lines down towards the camera & does a roll with her arrow onto her bow ready to fire. (Green arrows intro from injustice 1)

Prefight: Lian spins her bow while reaching for an arrow, & gets ready to use it. (Putting arrow next to bow to launch it.)

Outro: throws an apple into the air & shoots an arrow into it.

Fatalities:

Nuke Arrow: Lian shoots a boxing glove arrow into the opponent’s crotch, causing them to fall onto their knees. She then shoots two regular arrows into the opponent’s eyes & shoots an arrow with a nuke symbol at them; a far away view shows a nuclear explosion.

Choke-and-arrow: Lian shoots two arrows at the opponent’s feet, causing them to be stuck, she then flips over them with the bow & breaks their neck with it. (The string)

WonderBoy (Robert Long)

Intro: comes into view dragging his sword onto the ground creating sparks, he then raises the sword in front of him.

Prefight: he stops himself with the sword & then swings it a few times. After the second swing, the sword catches fire & Robert slams it onto the ground, causing a burst of fire to come out.

Outro: runs at the camera & leaps towards it ready to downward slash it.

Fatalities:

Lasso of Death: Robert throws & wraps the opponent with rope & jumps into the air, he then spins the opponent in a circle & slams the opponent into the ground causing them to explode. (Wonder Woman fatality from the MK vs DC game)

Power of the gods: Robert gains red bright hair & uppercuts the opponent into the air with fire hands (god of war mode) & then gains light blue hair & slams his opponent into the ground with water “whips” around their legs (god of Sea) finally he gains dark blue hair & shocks the opponent to death. (god of thunder)

Kid Tempest (Cerdian)

Intro: jumps out of a “puddle” & superhero lands with trident in hand.

Prefight: uses the trident to stop himself, spins the trident around in a circle & slams the tip (not the sharp ends) onto the ground.

Outro: shoots out purple lasers from his eyes to the ground & at the camera, after a “blink” it shows Cerdian holding the trident with both hands with it sideways & purple flames around him.

Fatalities:

Shark Bait: Cerdian stabs the opponent in the stomach & lifts him up, a shark comes out of nowhere & starts eating the opponent. (Aquaman’s special move from injustice 1)

Arts of Atlantis: Cerdian shoots a beam of water at the opponents face, causing the skin to rip off showing the skull. He then creates an energy blast made of fire & punches through the opponent & lifts them up. Finally, he shoots purple lasers from his eyes at the head causing it to explode.

SunSlinger (Jon Kent)

Intro: superhero lands on the ground, adjust his cowboy hat, & gets into a battle stance.

Prefight: twists his revolvers in a circle & stops with the barrels pointed at his opponent.

Outro: puts guns in gun holster & fly’s towards the camera with a smile on his face.

Fatalities:

Solar Bullet: Jon fires two non-lethal solar rounds into the opponent’s knees causing them to fall, Jon transforms into his Super Solar mode & charges a heat vision laser from his eyes & blasted the opponents head off.

Super Pound: Jon pounds his opponent into the ground & super kicks his opponents head off. (Superman’s heroic brutality from MKvsDC)

Robin V (Damian Wayne)

Intro: runs into view, does an upside down front flip & lands unleashing his sword. (Intro from injustice 2)

Prefight: uses his sword to stop himself & then put the blade in front of him. (Finishing intro from injustice 2)

Outro: his sword glows green & a flaming green demon head floats behind him as he poses.

Fatalities:

Demonized Assassin: his sword slashes from his injustice 2 special move but with a green glow but he chops the opponent’s head off.

Demon Goal: Damian chops off his opponents hands & kicks them in the crotch, causing them to fall to their knees, he then slices the head off, put the head in his hands & kicks it like a soccer ball with a whistle noise in the background.

WonderLad (Hunter Trevor)

Intro: walk towards the camera bashing his sword against his shield. (Wonder Woman intro from injustice 2)

Prefight: stops himself with his sword & raises it towards opponent.

Outro: takes out lasso, twirls it around his head & throws it towards the camera.

Fatalities:

Lasso Of Snap: Hunter wraps his opponent with his lasso around their body, he then wraps it around his opponent’s neck & pulls snapping their neck.

Ares Wrath’s: Hunter gains red aura, hair, & eyes & shoots a fireball at the opponent, knocking them flat on their back. Hunter then raises his hand to have hundreds of arrows rain down onto the opponent.

AquaBoy (Arthur Curry Jr.)

Intro: walks into frame picking up a trident that has electricity around it when it got picked up & does a battle pose.

Prefight: raises trident in the air, & lightning comes down to strike it, & gets into a battle position.

Outro: Arthur spins a water ball around him & throws it towards the camera.

Fatalities:

Thunder Trident: Arthur stabs the opponent in the chest with his trident & shoots out electricity causing the opponent to explode.

Reverse Waterboard: Arthur, using his water powers, takes water out of the opponent’s mouth until blood starts coming out & then the opponent’s intestines comes out of their mouth. (A more “kid friendly” version of what Mera did to Steppenwolf in Zack Snyder’s Justice League)

HawkBoy (Hector Hall)

Intro: flys on screen & slides to stop, he then whips out his mace & spins it.

Prefight: swings mace a few times & puts it over his shoulders with a smirk.

Outro: flys into the air & towards the camera with his mace above him ready to downward smash the camera with an angry look on his face.

Fatalities:

Savage Beast: Hector kicks his opponent in the crotch, causing them to fall to their knees, & then starts smashing the opponent that covers the screen/camera in blood. ( kinda like jokers x-ray move in MK11)

Hawk God: the area goes black & the camera shows the opponent, a giant hawk appears behind them & starts eating the opponent.

Green Canary (Connor Lance Queen)

Intro: runs towards the camera & then slides plus does a 360 spin.

Prefight: Canary Cries into the air & gets into a battle pose.

Outro: Shrieks a canary cry at the camera.

Fatalities:

Loud Death: Connor shoots two arrows into his opponent’s feet & then canary cries at the opponent; slowing losing their skin, organs, & body parts.

Boxing Glove Arrow: Connor shoots two arrows at the opponent’s knees, causing them to fall forwards, he then shoots a boxing glove arrow at the opponent’s face causing it to fly & fall backwards.

PhantomWing (Chris Kent)

Intro: glides into frame with dark wings & aura surrounding him.

Prefight: charges up a blue & black (dark) aura around him & does a “pump up” move setting it “flying” (think of the pump up moves in the dbz budokai tenkaichi games)

Outro: a dark aura surrounds Chris, he flys into the air & unleashes it with glowing blue eyes & a dark blue dragon behind him.

Fatalities:

Dark Shadows: Chris creates two “shadow-whips”from his hands & rips his opponent’s arms off & then their head.

Nightwing: Chris summons the Nightwing entity (a blue & black dragon with deep glowing blue eyes) & have it eats the opponent. (Liu kangs fatality from MK2 & MK9)

StarChild (Otho-Ra)

Intro: walks intro frame dragging a blue energy sword on the ground & thusts it towards the camera.

Prefight: swings the sword a few times & holds it with both hands.

Outro: shoots blue heat vision on the ground & slowly towards the camera creating a white flash, it then goes to show Otho & the background surround by blue fire & shows her holding her blue sword (holds it in a similar pose when she saw a future of herself where she stays at Warworld in the annual action comic 2023)

Fatalities:

Star-Protector: Otho slashes the opponent’s midsection & then summons a blue S shield made of blue energy & flys towards the opponent splitting them in half & set the organs flying.

Star-Slash: Otho kicks the opponent in the crotch, causing them to fall to their knees & then chops the head leaving the energy sword stuck in the skull.

Red Son (Osul-Ra)

Intro: a red energy battle axe is slammed into the ground, & Osul walks into frame, picks it up, & places it on his shoulders.

Prefight: he spins it & slams it into the ground causing rocks & dust to fly in the air, he raises it up & gets into a battle position.

Outro: Osul walks a few steps, he raises the axe in the air (the camera shifts facing him) & shouts: “Fight Master!” With a grin & giggles.

Fatalities:

Look out below!: Osul kicks the opponent in the gut, sending them on their back, & jumps & throws the battle axe at the opponent, he lands & scapes the opponent with the axe cutting them down. (Shao Khan’s fatality from MK2023)

Crimson Axe: Osul fires a red energy beam from his hand into the opponent’s chest & stomach area, the heart appears & the opponent drops to their knees, & then Osul slams his axe into the opponent’s skull leaving it there.

Red Bird (Mara Al Ghul)

Intro: walks into frame, takes out dagger & gets into a battle position.

Prefight: unleashes a dark red aura around her.

Outro: walks towards camera with a dark red aura around her, a dark red energy demon face appears behind her.

Fatalities:

Demon Fist: Mara charges an energy fist & punches through an opponent’s chest ripping out their heart & squeezes it.

Demon Slicer: Mara takes out her dagger, covered in dark red energy & slashes at the opponent; arms, legs, head & body.

Animal Girl (Maxine Baker)

Intro: walks into frame with a red panther walking besides her.

Prefight: stops herself with giant energy claws & roars at the opponent. (There is a panther roar “overlapping”)

Outro: Maxine creates red wings & floats in the air.

Fatalities:

Avatar of The Red: Maxine rhino charges at the opponent sending them on their back & she summons a panther to maul the opponent.

Into the Red: the “entrance” to the red itself appears & swallows the opponent whole, & the terrifying creatures there starts attacking the opponent.

Beacon (Kathy Branden)

Intro: floats into frame with purple forcefields in her hands.

Prefight: surrounds herself in a purple force field & unleashed it causing a shockwave.

Outro: she turns around butt facing the camera, kisses her hand & pats her butt. XD I’m kidding: she floats up in the air with a twirl & unleashed a purple shockwave.

Fatalities:

Sonic Boom: Kathy lifts up the opponent using telekinesis & shoots out a telekinetic blast from her hand causing the opponent’s spine & organs come out their back.

Purple-field: she creates a purple forcefield around her opponent & crushes them.

AnimalLad (Clifford Baker)

Intro: walks into frame with a red wolf besides him.

Prefight: roars at the opponent with a wolf bark overlapping.

Outro: screams into the air, the camera flies into the air & it shows a red wolf howling at the moon. (Nightwolf’s Outro from MK11)

Fatalities:

Hunting Wolf: Cliff summons a red energy wolf & mauls the opponent.

Savage Red: Cliff transforms into his Savage Red mode & starts tearing up the opponent, ripping out their organs & crushing their head.

Valor (Conner Kent)

Intro: arrives vile skateboard & does a heel flip & stops.

Prefight: his sunglasses break after being pushed back, he shouts either: Shit! or fuck! He eyes then gets red with heat vision.

Outro: he reaches behind him & grabs another pair of glasses & puts it on using his middle finger.

Fatalities:

Tactile telekinesis: Connor puts his hands on the ground, setting off a shockwave underneath the opponent setting them flying in the air. Conner then jumps towards the opponent & puts his hands on them & does a shockwave attack sending the opponent towards the ground exploding in pieces.

Super Radical: Conner takes a skateboard & beats the opponent to death with it. A camera cut shows Conner doing a kick flip over the opponent (right above the opponent , he lifts his pink & index fingers to the camera) & lands.

Crowly (Colin Wilkes)

Intro: a wall is seen when suddenly, somebody leaves a brass knuckle mark into it revealing the name abuse or a Batman symbol in it. The camera cuts to Colin turning to the opponent.

Prefight: Colin grows big & roars into the air, & then shrinks back down.

Outro: Colin grows big, walks towards the camera & fists bumps himself before posing to punch the camera.

Fatalities:

Bane of my existence: Colin grows big & grabs the opponent & raises them over his head, & then slams them over his knee twice, the second time breaks them completely & their intestines comes out. Colin then throws them to the floor.

Boxer Bird: Colin (small with muscles) tackles the opponent & sits on top of them. He then rapidly punches them causing blood to cover him & the screen.

FlameBird (Suren Darga)

Intro: flys in frame with fire wings.

Prefight: surrounds himself with a fire aura & summons a fireball to blow out with his breath.

Outro: surrounds himself with fire & then creates a massive energy avatar made out of fire. (Think of susanno from naruto or the blue Superman avatar from recent action comics with metallo).

Fatalities:

FlameBird: summons a giant bird made of fire & it pecks at the opponent.

Fire Fist Suren: Suren charges a fist made with fire & punches through the opponent, he then sets the opponent ablaze.

Attuma x Talokanil!Princess!Reader Fic Preview

Summary: As the daughter of the feathered serpent god, you had always felt the pressure of living up to your father’s name. But you never had to worry; Attuma was always there to quell your fears and follow your will to the ends of the earth.

Or, in which Attuma swears his undying loyalty and love for you, even if it meant being as shameless as to declare his love to a princess when he was but a mere warrior.

Note: It is worthy to note that I have not included any deep Yucatec Maya phrases (besides the terms of endearment) despite the Talokanil speaking in their native tongue as respect to their language. Therefore their mother tongue shall be labeled with italics.

“Would it be shameless of me to long for the surface?” You asked him suddenly. Attuma shook his head quickly. 

“Never.”

“Speak your mind. I did not ask you to indulge me and curry my favor,” you sighed and wrought your fingers together, your hand now leaving the proximity of your guard’s own, “I ask you for counsel, Attuma. You are one of the few people that I trust.”

Attuma was silent as he mulled over your question. An aide to the heir of the throne must only listen and follow their whims. The will of their masters were the will of their followers; he dare not disobey such courtesy.

But in the freedom of the duty that binded him to such rules by your order, he granted himself full autonomy. 

“It might be so, in princesa,” you looked at him curiously. He held the urge to submit to you, to take back the words of his own opinion, and continued on, “you are the heir to Talokan, the nation built on the suffering of our ancestors who fled the land to hide in the sea. To long for the surface is a defiance to their dying will.”

“But we were robbed of our ancestral lands. What if I long to get it back? To let our people walk in the motherland that we once came from? To let them see this; the beauty that they were deprived of when we were chased off our own inheritance?”

“Then you should be prepared for war.” 

He looked directly into your eyes, ones that held such young wisdom and hope. But he knew from the countless battles he fought that to reclaim the stolen land you wished to rule is to declare a fight that you were far too merciful to lead. 

“To reclaim the right that we once owned…you must be ready to shed blood; both the blood of the surface and the blood of your people. But to declare battle you must reveal our nation. Our king’s will shall not allow such a thing.”

Attuma watched as you lowered your head, trapped in the swirl of your thoughts as you continued to deliberate the weight of his words. He flagrantly allowed himself to reach for your hand first, draw circles on the back of your hand tenderly, and scooted himself closer so his hulking gait would protect you from the prying eyes of the world. 

You squeezed his hand with yours, your breath stuttering at your next words.

“And what if I still desire to reclaim our land back, Attuma?” You looked up and held his gaze, your eyes now steeling itself to one of conviction.

He smiled.

“Then I shall shed blood for your will, in princesa.”
