i was not ready to find out amanda knows gabbriette and matty healy and the fact that her mentioning amelia probably means matt is at least amicable with them too? this is the worst crossover i could've woken up to

I'm starting to realize that my Ne-Fe loop turns on when I'm too social. I start going out, get a little addicted to being charming and how people respond, and then I forget myself and my Ti, and drain myself on saying the right (or hilariously wrong) things at the right moments, and I'm so aware of how people respond to me but idk how I'm responding to myself or how I even relate to what I'm saying-- only that it's clever and well timed and wow I feel terrible. I need to go home and find my Ti.

Random small talk event at the yard sard set-up, very nice lady, but ESP when asking "Oh are you still in school? ☺️" I literally never know how to say "Oh I graduated a long time ago. Yeah. I mostly do art now" and she says "Oh to sell?" and so far I'm having a reasonable and effective small talk conversation, when I hit that pitfall and lock up and I worry I'm becoming unfriendly bc I locked up. Because I REALLY don't know how to say, "Nah, I kind of do fuck all. I'm 25 and I do fuck all. For nothing." Like I can see the conversation tree in real time and I know that's the worst dialogue option. And there are no other dialogue options there's just Press B to get the fuck outta there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A big shout out to the night custodian at my local grocery store. I often go to the store an hour or two before close. It's pretty empty, so he starts cleaning the floors. After a few weeks we started to recognize each other, and smile as we passed. One day he stopped me and said he was always happy to see me because my smile was like sunshine. (It was not in a creepy way. He's more than twice my age, and said it in a proud father kind of way.)
Now every time I see him, he's like, "Sunshine girl!", and makes me feel like a million bucks. After a few months of this, my husband came with me, which he rarely does. My friend, upon seeing him was like, "The husband?! You're so lucky. You gotta take really good care of her." And then he turned to me and was like, "He's good to you right?" I assured him my husband was the best.
Anyway, shout out to people who throw compliments and kindness out like free confetti.

I think Ryuseitai and Crazy:B should have an event together purely for the Rinne-Chiaki parallels because the !! Main Story really gave us "If I had taken one wrong step, I would've ended up exactly like you" and then just. Never really elaborated when there is so much that could be done with it???
Do you know how often I think about the potential of these two??? I am literally skimming through stories for Chiaki-Rinne mentions its that bad.

updates, because I live blog everything: saw him for the first time in like a month, first thing he did was go to hug me (kind of a half hug but god he hadn’t done that in so long) and I feel pretty good about most of our interactions, I’m always looking for reasons to feel bad but honestly. for the most part it felt really good. like not because he likes me (because he doesn’t) but because things are finally friendly and good again with us. I’m still me so I’m awkward but held my own in the group setting pretty well I think. I wanted to see him so badly and I did and overall I feel good. things are always subject to change and I don’t want to jinx anything so that’s all I’ll say. it felt nice.

really truly Feelings about coming back to my hometown and seeing it as an outsider (I only knew it as a child with my motion constrained by school and parents and being under 18) and an outsider (it's changed since I've been away these last 8 years) and an outsider (showing it to my partner and finding it both familiar and unfamiliar, and special and inadequate) and an outsider (my parents and sister have all moved and my childhood home is no longer mine - staying in a building with a door code to learn and furniture still being moved in) and an outsider (my favorite places have changed, moved, closed, repainted) and an outsider (new murals! new buildings! new bike lanes) and an outsider (how the Fuck do the bike lanes on the east bank connect) and an outsider (it's changed [you can never step in the same river twice] and I have too)
