All of Kakashi's friends have one thing in common: they do not give a fuck about their reputation. They do not care what you think of them. I think it’s interesting that Man of Steel set Clark up to be very traumatized by being forced to kill Zod (thus largely ending the conflict) and BVS setting Bruce up to essentially confront Clark (Superman) for not ending the conflict sooner (thus limiting the damage to the innocent civilians around them) and yet as far as I can tell, the subject of Zod never specifically comes up between them. And despite Bruce’s anger over Black Zero, I think he would be uniquely suited to help Clark deal with his trauma over being forced to take a life.
