Deleted fic

Hello I’m writing this as a last resort. I went back to reread a Yeehan fic and found out that it has been deleted. I don’t remember the author nor the fic’s name, but if anyone does please help. The fic is about how hanzo has to start a new form of therapy with Angela for him to start attending mission. They would view a memory from Hanzo’s childhood and talk about it. It dives deep into his back story and why he did what he did and it was super sad. He grows closer to Cassidy and mend his relationship with himself and Genji. I also remember their mom reappearing after years of being on the run.

Just a snippet of the fic I’m currently working on… have some fluff cause it’s 10pm on a Monday?

“You are going into heat.” Hanzo stated in near disbelief. How incredibly foolish it was that he didn’t realize it sooner. He cast a worried glance at the door of Marybelle’s room. It was like there were two different alphas in him. One wanted to protect the pup. Bring her to his den and nurture her until her father was in his right mind again. The other craved to ignore any responsibility he felt—the child wasn’t his—but Jesse was in any way that mattered, and he wanted to drown in his heat. He scowled at that ugly, greedy part of himself.

“Yes. In a couple of days. I had called Ange just before you showed up. After her nap I was gonna get Marybelle packed and take her over.” When Jesse saw Hanzo’s worried frown his heart skipped a beat and he quickly continued with a nervous laugh. “Not that she didn’t want to stay with you, but…. I want you to stay with me.”

“Jesse, I don’t think—“

“I know it ain’t fair of me to ask. But I’m asking. I’m afraid. I don’t wanna try to go through this alone; or with anyone other than you.”

Any argument Hanzo could have tried to make would have been like trying to retain water in a colander. Still he was at a loss for words. He felt Jesse squeeze his hands, the omega’s brown eyes were wide and anxious. In answer Hanzo freed his hand to pull him into a hug. One hand tangled in Jesse’s hair, the other supporting the small of his back as Hanzo buried his face in Jesse’s neck. Even this early, the change in the omega’s pheromones was driving Hanzo mad. All the restraint he had exercised for the last month was shattered as he took Jesse’s face in his hands and kissed him. He had missed the feel of his beard against his own and the taste of his tongue. Why had he ever let him go to begin with? Even back then he was too old to blame youth for his pride. He wouldn’t let something so foolish dictate him anymore.

“Okay.”

Also wayyyyyy back in the day I used to be a huge mchanzo shipper(idk the new ship name srry) and it was totally unprompted.

I hadn't even played overwatch and I was so down bad for the ship.

In short: johnshi is my new mchanzo.

Maybe if I lose my mind a little, I'll cater to my younger self and write a mchanzo fic.

It's a long shot but does anyone remember that ao3 mchanzo fic where one of Hanzo's dragons transfers to Cassidy/Jesse and he's weirded out by it and calls it a parasite at one point?

I read a collection of horror Yeehan/Mchanzo fics (they were for a zine pre-name change but the zine got cancelled) and i genuinely haven’t been able to stop thinking about some of them.

I can’t tell if it was because they were good or because of how grostesque they could be😭

The joy I feel being back Tumblr and immediately catapulting myself back into mchanzo/yeehan. All the nostalgia is felt in fondness but also the new artwork, fics, etc. that I now have to explore is exciting.

ATTENTION YEEHAN-ERs!!! I am looking for fic. It was abt dragon hanzo. He could see through his dragons eyes and assassinate people. He was captured by black watch. I specifically remembered he got a second dragon because the dragon was his dead but corrupted mothers dragon. It was an older fic like back when yeehan was mchanzo and I think the fic refers Cassidy to Jesse still but I remember it being rlly good and I just wanna see how it looks now.

So fun fact, I'm/formerly was an overwatch player, I was heavily into the fandom and I'm tempted to write a fic based on an angst fic centered around hanahaki. If you're curious it's a yeehan/mchanzo fic from the golden days of overwatch content.

Hanzo Shimada has run out of things to read and sets himself to browsing for recently-finished works. One story by "HighNoon" stands out, and he supposes the writing for the first few paragraphs is good enough to overlook that it's a Western AU.

Jesse McCree had just posted the last chapter of his current fic last night, and today there are a bunch of comments that could practically be chapters themselves. DoubleDragon turns out to be every writer's wet dream, and the comments section of his works are soon looking like a bunch of chat threads.

He was remarkably skilled, insolent, and above all mysterious. Genji, of course, liked him right away, but Hanzo had his doubts.

I’ll just say it. Of all the ‘shipped together because they’re both hot’ ships, tbqh Mchanzo kind of just Worked the best. They have a lot of fun interactions, they’re appropriately aged, and theyre decent enough foils ✌️ (the fans are pretty irritating though)

I need you to know that I’m a recreational hater- I do get it. They make sense, they’re fun, they do have that one interaction that could be read as flirting if you really try, hell I have written fics about them, I am the annoying fans

But also they’re suuuuuch a fandom ship you know? This is what fandom does to blandly handsome men in this age range with this brand of blandly angsty backstories. They’re the blueprint for bland shipping and they deserve to be appropriately crowned Worst Ship, not because they’re Bad but because they’re the epitome of the Understandable But Kinda Annoying After a While ship you can find in literally every fandom

In the better timeline the ‘we just think they’re hot’ ship out of the original cast would be Pharah/Symm do not add me
