It's been a year and half since 1.19 and I've never worked up the nerve to find an ancient city, and I guess PearlescentMoon killed a Warden less than a week into a new world. What even is MCYT.

It's coming, folks. My infamous wip, the tango/jimmy/fwhip one from the first day of the crossover, the sequel to the the first mcyt i published, the one I think about every day and feel bad about not finishing (b/c i can't write tango pov anymore). My dear @that-tall-queer-bassist is almost done with the story! I gave them my partial draft + outline, and they are giving you a story.

I can't make any promises on when it will be out because there's a lot going on... but if you want to reread the first fic and the wip, it wouldn't be a bad idea!

With the combined help of Shubble and Impulse, he started work on the wondrous plan, Get His Boyfriends To Talk Feelings And Then Fuck. The Boyfriends™ had mixed reactions to Tango’s secret keeping. Fwhip seemed endlessly curious, always trying to pry information from Tango in subtle and obvious ways. Jimmy seemed impatient about it, but he told Tango that while the anticipation was awful, he loved good surprises, and Tango promised them both that it wasn’t a prank.

I'm almost a year late putting this out. I drew everyone in like 2 days but hated coloring so I never finished :(

The new server name was a reference to how we were all once a bunch of mcyt writers and now we’ve “retired” and dispersed into other fandoms. The spawn area contained two villages: one in a plains biome, and the other in a mangrove swamp. The server was mostly split into two factions depending on where players resided: the Grove and the Plains. There was also a third “faction” of wanderers who belong to neither village.

This season contained the original Book and Quill members, and also some of my irl friends I invited. Yes, it was briefly a social nightmare but I survived.

Below the cut: character notes about the server members, in the order of the list above

Dice: The Warden Affiliation: Wanderer

the first thing they did on the server: stab fish and dig a hole

an End Busting god???? went on their own and didn’t die.

built a PRISON. made people very concerned about who it was supposed to hold

Squish: Guardian of the Grove Affiliation: The Grove (leader)

has a fox form. used to have wings but lost them when The Grove briefly fell into disarray

local prankster. Hid 18 skulk shriekers around the common areas after the ancient city raid, then moved them to new locations when found. Gave the entire of server war flashbacks

escalated into a prank war with Schleep

built giant gunpowder farm over an ocean

goat horns! got goat horns for everyone so that the two villages could call to each other!

built a guillotine. ended up becoming the only person to have ever been executed by it after she got too impatient and decided to try it out on herself

built a cute little cottage on the side of a hill with a secret doorway in a waterfall that could only be opened by triggering skulk sensors hidden midair in hot air balloons with an elytra.

went to extreme lengths to prank Myriad with the lyrics of Mask (and got me every time. see her post about it here)

hasn’t played minecraft since like 1.8. tried to get out of a boat once by ramming it in hopes that it would break. has died multiple times due to new game mechanics.

Request For Help

(this is my first venture into main tags outside mcyt, sorry if there's some specific tag to use I'm unaware of >.>)

I only just today found out that the sheep farm design I found on YouTube, described as "working in bedrock 1.19 without problems", actually does not work at all because it turns out observers can't detect grass->dirt changes in bedrock??? Which certainly explains why the farm I spent days constructing and weeks babysitting has produced 0 wool in that entire span...

Is there some other relatively simple way I can automate sheep shearing? Every design I've seen relies on the observer detecting grass being eaten :T

minecraftia the series

this is my first non theory post so yay to that. this is a lil fantasy thing i have been making for 4 years in my mind and stuff. there are three generations all different aspects and basically different series. gen 1 takes place in the early indev phase to 2012 updates. its the most kid friendly one and if it were animated it would be the classic 3d blocky minecraft animation to pay homage to the first monster school. the age rating would be all ages. gen 2 will have actual lore, storytelling, OCs, custom mobs, MCYT, war and more. if it were animated it would be a anime like style. it is made for the teenagers. ages 13-16. last one is actually made pretty recent. gen 3 will contain blood, violence, gore, horror, much more swearing and more intense story telling. this one is based on adult animation. ages 18 and up. if it were animated it would look like SAD-ist (check her out shes a fellow filipino!) i forgot to mention that gen 2 is set in the 1.19 update while gen 3 is set in the current updates. the main premise for gen 1 is how a bunch of mobs made a underground railway and other shenanigans. gen 2 story is that a enderman named phantos sets out to change the world against the opression of humans. gen 3 story is through the eyes of tony the human. tony the dragon tamer is caught in a whirlwind of betrayal, war, genocide and a undead phantos. i will not make it into a animation nor do i want it to. but you can do it if you want. some thing might be cliche or cringe. thats because gen 1 was made in 2018 to 2019 and gen 2 was made 2019 to 2023. they are the times the dream smp was popular, so there will be a lot of dsmp. critizism is welcome. i actually might make the first episode next week so better look out! bye!

I’ve been really enjoying watching people exploring the Ancient Cities for the first time! I say watching because there is no way I’m going down there by myself. Everything about the Warden is so freaky—it can hear you, it can smell you, it can and will eat your soul—?!

No thank you. I’ll stick to painting it instead :P (I also tossed Pixlriffs in there since I watched him do it first hehe)
