One of the two pieces I did for the PokePocket Zine. Leftover sales are up, so please grab this adorably tiny zine while you still can!
It was tons of fun to pack this drawing with Pokemon themed junk. The discord server was great at helping me come up with ideas (like the Sligoo themed glue stick)

Pride Stones Day 15: Demiboy, DemiGirl
Were already half way through the month, time sure flys
We got another double day with both Demi's in a crayon styling
I actually redid these two as they were some of the first I colored and felt to plain compared to the later ones

Ugh fuck I had a big brainstorm brewing about Mega Energy vs Ultra Energy vs Dyna Energy vs Tera Energy.
Let's try and kick it back up.
'Dyna Energy comes from Rayquaza?' Nah, definitely not.
Baby steps then.
Axiom: Mega Evolution ≈ Primal Reversion
"Primal Reversion?"
Yeah, the thing where a special crystal causes Groudon/Kyogre to regain their ancient forms/types/abilities.
So how does the Orb/Mega Stone participate in this interaction? Is it a catalyst in more than one sense?
Yes. It takes in energy from 'nature,' and transfers that to the pokémon. I would think that the intake has to be a continuous action prior to release, like a solar panel might charge a battery. Compare Tera Orbs.
Of note is the orbs are not interchangeable. Like Mega Stones, they require a specific pokémon species (and likely the right form, but until I can put a Slowbronite on a Galarian 'bro that's speculation) to hold it for the energy transfer to work properly.
There are Z-crystals that require a specific species (and form) too, like Pikachu/AloRaichu, but all of those are alleged to have broken off of the Light Dragon.
The myth Zinnia gives us is that Rayquaza and the Meteor People (The first Dragon Keepers?) were the first to unlock the secrets of Mega Evolution, but doesn't explain where the other forty-six stones come from. She hints at *gesturing vaguely* 'space,' but it for damn sure wasn't Deoxys in that first meteor.
So we need something that could fall from space, is extremely rare, made of stone/glass/crystal, and quite possibly related to the Light Dragon?
How about if a shit-ton of this thing fell from space? That'd be rare. Like, 'Oh wow, the sky is full of new stars and holes,' rare.
Like a Night of Falling Stars.
But it's not like there's any hints that that's happened before, right?
Oh no wait the Altar of the Sunne/Moone was built for it hangon and it absorbs light?
I bet that shell IS solid, but I wouldn't be surprised if atmospheric entry is a bitch for a shape like that weighing an imperial ton.
Roughly 50 fall, and maybe two make it.
So if that's the mega stones, what're the Red and Blue orb?
Hear me out:
THE EYES OF THE LIGHT-BRINGER, THE FIRST METEOR.

As trainers who are in Kalos, Kieran and Joelle, of course, possess a mega stone that allows their Pokemon to go to another level (AKA Mega Evolution).
Being someone who loves accessories, Joelle chose to put it in a hair clip to show that she is not only a pretty face. She was thrilled because back in Hoenn, she only saw them in TV and never got the chance to get a Mega Stone.
As for Kieran it was a tad more tricky with his blindness, because he can't just search for his stone in his bag, or put it on like a jewelry with the risk of losing it easily with thieves or carelessness. So the professor decided to make his walking cane the bearer of his Mega Stone, with a secret place at the top, to which Kieran can accesss with a button.
(Also, here's a round chibi Kieran for the soul)

Been a looong while since I last posted a Guzma-related drawing, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite prompts I did through my sketchdumps (which I gotta get back to)!
So here’s Big G trying to coax Nora into teaching him how to use a Mega Stone. (FYI, he need a Bug Type Mega Stone if he wants to use one; ssh! Don’t tell him I said that!)
