This is. adorable.

I am NOT experienced with babies but I'm gonna try to do this just because its adorable and i want it.

(Also i will do your other reqs later i saw all of them and I want to do all of them ♡)

❥ He has no clue what hes doing.

❥ He can solve any math equation within seconds but he doesn't know the first thing about taking care of a baby (even though he desperately read every parent help book he could find).

❥ He jumps every time the baby cries.

⤷ Most times he can't figure out why the bean is crying and he'll start panicking.

⤷ You'd come home to him holding the small bean and desperately reading through ten different parenting forums. "Oh thank Einstein-" he'd mutter once he notices you. "I've tried everything, I-" you'd take the baby and simply start letting it feed. Immediately, the infant would calm down. Melvin would stare in disbelief and.. in absolute exasperation, he'd say, ".. Please never leave for that long again."

❥ He just stares at the infant in fascination when they teeth on his prosthetics (he hates the feeling of the baby's gums on his human skin so he usually switches the teething to his robotic hand).

❥ You once came home to him asleep in the nursery next to the baby's crib, his hair an absolute mess and his prosthetic arm stretched out on the floor, and the baby sound asleep.

❥ Doesn't do baby talk but absolutely talks as if the baby understands him.

⤷ He'd have the bean in his lap, sitting in the livingroom while you make dinner in the kitchen. When the baby babbles, he'd look down at them and go, "Really?" When the baby continues to babble, he'd lift them and have them face him. "You don't say?" He'd say, looking playfully intrigued by the babbles.

❥ He becomes a protective dad so quickly.

❥ Absolutely invents baby toys.

❥ Babyproofed the entire house including his office/lab (he can do chemical experiments and work with sharp objects in the garage [of which is disconnected from the house—aside from an underground hallway but he won't let the baby down there] instead of his office for a while).

❥ He absolutely checks parenting forums. He appreciates the other parents saying that the first child is always a bit hectic since you're figuring things out.

❥ When the baby's asleep, he absolutely praises your parenting skills.

⤷ This happens a lot when you start to look like you're doubting your parenting abilities.

⤷ He'd sleepily walk up to you and lazily wrap an arm around you after you've both successfully put the bean to sleep. "You are a perfect mom," He'd mutter, almost absentmindedly before resting his head on your shoulder. He'd feel you relax at that. He'd then add, "Don't doubt that."

Like he comes home from a stressful day at work and the reader is wearing one of his lab coats over the costume (because 1. dramatic effect, 2. those outfits be COLD AS HELL reader need warmth, and 3. Melvinborg x Reader - Tiresome Day (Semi-NSFW)

It’s been a long day for Melvin– you could immediately tell as soon as he walked in through the front door. His weary footsteps echoed through the hallway, each one a testament to the day he had endured. When he stepped into the living room, you saw that his shoulders were slumped under the weight of fatigue, and his normally vibrant eyes were now dull and heavy.

You gave him a weak smile from your spot on the couch. “Hey darling. Tired?”

He released a deep sigh, opening his mouth to speak… only to squint at you when he saw what you were wearing. “Is that… one of my spare lab coats?”

“Is it?” You looked down at yourself, playing coy. “I really hadn’t noticed.”

Melvin rolled his eyes– in which you only now noticed that his robotic one seemed much duller than usual. “Sure you haven’t, you… unbaked poptart…” He flopped down onto the couch next to you.

"Unbaked poptart, huh? I think that's a new one," you teased, nudging him gently. When he didn’t respond, your hands migrated to his shoulders. “Though, it is a bit cold in here.”

He relaxed to your touched, letting you do as you pleased. “Is that why you’ve stolen my lab coat?” 

You chuckled softly, continuing to knead his shoulders. It felt weird trying to massage metal, but he seemed to enjoy it so you chose to keep going. "Well, you know, your lab coat has this certain... warmth to it. Plus, it makes me feel a little closer to you when you're away."

Melvin leaned into your touch, a faint smile playing on his lips as the tension melted away from his shoulders. "Fair enough. Just don't get any strange ideas about conducting experiments of your own."

“I make no promises.”

The next ten minutes continued in a similar manner, with him making mild comments and with you making him comfortable. As you worked on his back, you could sense the stress slowly dissipating. Melvin seemed to be gradually unwinding, the weariness of the day fading into the background.

Eventually, he let out a long, contented sigh. "You have magic hands, you know that?"

You grinned, giving his shoulders a final squeeze before leaning in to kiss his cheek. "Years of practice. It's all in the technique."

“Technique?” He snorted. “If you say so, my lovely. I guess all these years of shoulder and back rubbing is starting to pay off.”

You hummed thoughtfully in response, looking down at yourself… “Say,” you began randomly, “What do you want to be for Halloween?”

“You want me to dress up for Halloween again?” 

You nodded, mischief dancing in your eyes. "Of course! It's a tradition, isn't it? Last year's intergalactic explorers costume was a hit at the workplace. I think this year we should do something even more… exciting.”

Melvin took a moment to respond, thinking. “Well… we could do couples costumes. Something that’s different from one another, but has the general theme.”

“Well… what if I already have a costume picked out?” You said, trying not to smirk.

He looked down at you. “And what did you…” He trailed off, seeing that you had slid off his lab coat, revealing the outfit underneath.

You were wearing a sexy teacher’s outfit, showing a decent amount of skin. After a moment, you spread open your legs. “Do you like my outfit?” You fluttered your lashes at him. 

“I… love your outfit,” he said slowly, his hands going to your hips. 

“Do you?” You shifted around to where you were facing him. “Can you show me how much you love my outfit?”

The robotic half of himself made a soft whirring sound, slowly rubbing up and down your sides. “Were you… just sitting here, waiting for me to come home?”

“...Yes.” You gave him a slight giggle. “Yes, I suppose I was…”

His robotic hand went under your shirt, sending a slight chill up your spine. He was either extremely hot or extremely cold to the touch– no inbetween. Though, it was easy to warm him up…

“Tuh-Take off my shirt for me?” You whispered.

His hands went to your front, slowly unbuttoning your shirt for you. You were pretty sure he was purposely going slow. 

Once he had unbuttoned the shirt completely he tossed it to the side, completely focusing on you.

“How far do you want to take this?” He asked, keeping his hands away just for the moment.

“However far you want to go right now.” You leaned in to kiss his cheek. “I know you’ve got to be tired, so you can do whatever you like.”

Melvin hummed in response, nuzzling your neck. “I can do whatever I like?” 

“Anything.”

A smirk slowly rose up across his features, rubbing his hands up and down your sides once again. He placed kisses along your neck, though occasionally nibbled and sucked your flesh, creating bright hickeys you’ll have to hide later.

You released soft noises, combing your fingers through his vibrant orange hair. You highly doubted your neighbors could hear your moans… but you were never certain if they could or not. Maybe they could hear you– maybe that’s why they never seem to be around outdoors. You didn’t know. And, you sooort of didn’t care, either.

“Melvin,” you mumbled, relaxing against him. 

He went further down, nibbling at your collarbone and shoulders. His mouth had a strange texture, being half metal and half normal, but it was very easy to get used to. 

After a while, he glanced back up at you. “Should we… move elsewhere?”

You paused, glancing around the living room. There were two windows, though it had curtains covering them…

“Let’s go to our bedroom,” you told him. 

You were about to stand up– but before you could, he picked you up as if you were a petite little princess, holding you carefully in his– somewhat– strong arms.

“Melvin!” Your face warmed, causing him to laugh. 

After adjusting his grip on you, he began to walk in the direction of the shared bedroom…

If you were a child,he would be very overprotective.

It would start out as him introducing himself to you as the new principal cause you know,he's kinda your boss now.

Your flabbergasted,it was twice the pay of your normal job!

One day, You woke up. Looked to the side of your bed, not finding Melvinborg. Yet of-course you knew that he was probably in his lab or writing something you thought was silly, But when you got out of bed you went to his lab slowly typing in the code just to check if MB was there when you heard footsteps behind you, when you turned around. You didn't find anyone, so in confusion you continued typing the code when you felt something sharp stabbing your neck before you could even turn.. you fell. When you woke up you saw melvinborg in a great panic worring about something.. whilst looking at the floor with a traumatized face.. seeing yourself in a bed, you where scared and confused on what was going on so you spoke.. "Melvinborg..?" He quickly turned in shock looking at you with great surprise jumping out of his chair running toward you and loudly speaking "(Y/N)!! ARE YOU OK?!!" You were in GREAT shock and what and why he asked that, you said softly and quietly " yes..?" He smiled with relief on his face.. so you asked "Melvinborg.." He replied " Yes, (Y/N)?" You answered "What happened-" and before you finish your sentence you fell (to the bed) Melvinborg quickly ran towards the wires realizing one of the wires were broke.. 2 hours later you woke up again seeing melvinborg fixing some wires you had no idea what exactly he was fixing, so you looked around finding yourself in a medical-look-like room you never knew he had so you loudly shouted "WHERE AM I?!!" He turned around to see you whilse he got off his chair walking towards you and sitting on the bed replying on your question "you are in my emergency room.. are you ok??.." you were again in confusion replying "yes- wait.. WHAT IS GOING ON?!!" He turned to you saying "you're stressed.. I'll be right back.." standing up and leaving the room, the second he left the room you heard footsteps from the other side of the room finding another door, yet. You saw no-one.. you were extremely afraid yet for a second you couldn't control yourself so you started slowly crying. Melvinborg came back with tea in his hands going to his desk and placing down the tea, he turned to find you crying quietly, he's expression changed so he quickly walked up to you bending down and trying to look at you, asking " hey (y/n).. you okay??.. " you looked up thinking to tell him what happened but saw flashing lights and eyes everywhere saying "DONT TELL HIM.." you were shocked so you hidden your face under your arms crying softly and softly saying "there's something haunting me.." than all the flash and eyes disappeared with someone whispering "YOU HAVEN'T FOLLOWED MY REQUEST.. YOU SHALL PAY.." you cried harder. Melvinborg was shocked and confused when he realized there's blue marks on your neck so he went silent but after that he said " (y/n).. is something saying anything quietly that I can't hear??.." you looked up and noded, saying " they told me not to tell you, now they will get revenge..!!" You stressfully said, he glanced at you saying "it's ok, it will go away soon.. it's because you have '????????' I will take care of that" he quickly got up rushed to his desked putted something in the tea and picking it up, walking towards you and saying "drink." You giggled and took the cup and drank, suddenly you saw something on the edge of your eye so you look there to see that exacted million eyes that Starred at you dying. You were relieved and your chest felt lighter, you said " why did I see dying eyeballs-" he laughed and said "it's nothing" with a smile on his face. You knew that you said something funny yet you didn't get it.

SICKFIC REQUEST HELL YEAH. Also this took so long to finish I apologize

You laid in bed and groaned, running your fingers through your hair. You were sick- extremely sick. You felt like you were on fire. Dramatic, yes, but accurate.

You sighed and pulled out your phone, not having the energy to get out of bed or shout for your husband (Melvin) to come help you. He was currently down in your shared lab working on an invention commission. You sent a message to him, your fingers wobbling with each tap. Your text read; "Heyy honey, im siccj, coukd you bribg up some medicine please? Thankg you 💕"

Within a minute you could hear fastly approaching footsteps coming to your room. The door opened moderately quickly and soon Melvin was by your side. "I'm here," he spoke softly, gently stroking your hair. "Mm.. You got here.. fast." You muttered, your voice hoarse. You began coughing, which prompted Melvin to start preparing the medicine for you to take. "Of course. You're my partner, I want to take care of you when you need me, that's my job. Well- metaphorically. It doesn't feel like a job, that's not what I meant," Melvin continued rambling on and on while you just listened to his voice without paying attention to what he was actually saying.

"Anyhow, I need you to sit up." Melvin stated. You did as requested, sitting up while slouching a bit. "Make sure you swallow all of it or it won't help." He said while putting a spoonful of liquid medicine to your lips. You took it without fuss but immediately started coughing once it was down.

"Ew! Ew ew ew- nasty-" You complained, which caused Melvin to start laughing lightly. "Do you think my suffering is funny, Mr. Sneedly?" You asked in a joking tone, your voice still hoarse. "Yes, Mx. Sneedly, I think it's hilarious." He teased. You let out a fake offended noise before going straight into another coughing fit.

"Alright, alright, enough talking, lay down." Melvin stated through light chuckles, gently pushing you back until you were laying down on the bed once again. "But I don't wannaaaa," You whined. "Well you gottaaa, you stale muffin. If you don't, you'll feel worse." He said, gently pushing down on your shoulder so you couldn't attempt to get back up.

"You're meaaan," You grumbled. "And you're sick." Melvin sighed, "Please just rest. I'll.. I'll spend all day with you tomorrow if you rest now, okay?" He said, attempting to bribe you with the idea of spending extra time with him. It worked; you relaxed on the bed with a dramatic sigh. "Fiiine.. Hmph."

Melvin smiled softly and gently played with your hair, watching as you relaxed more due to the affection. He knew you basically melted when he gave you plenty of attention and affection, so that was his method of 'bait' to get you to relax for the time being.

"Waitt, if you're near me, won't you get sick tooo?" You asked, sniffling as you began to feel congested. "Depends on if you choose to sneeze on me. As long as you don't sneeze or cough on me, I'll be okay. My immune system is much stronger than yours because of my cybernetics actually. The nerves on my robotic side can't hold in germs, so.." His voice became a blur to you as he continued rambling, and you became more tired.

You slowly but surely fell asleep to his voice. You could feel his human hand playing with your hair as he spoke, and you drifted off.
