Awww thank you 😊, yet yes I do want to take time to think about 🤓. However luckily it is the weekend so I have more time to research and come up with ideas.

Hi, I just want to send a huge thank you for your recent appreciation to one of my edits! :D As well your work for The Six Musical are amazing. I am curious too, why did you cast who you did?

As for Six I went through a few different options for a few of the Queens before deciding.

Catherine of Aragon - Esmeralda has great church and praying scenes that match with Catherine's plea to Henry. She was pretty much the only one I had in mind for this since her scenes fit so well.

Anne Boleyn - I went between Jasmine and Meg for a while. Meg has that sass that Anne has and that same sexuality. I ended up going with Jasmine because she has so many good scenes that work for Anne, she has the sassy attitude and the sexual scenes but also some good emotional scenes that I felt worked well.

Jane Seymour - I was originally looking at Aurora for her because of her "death" scene as well as the scenes of her in the bed because of how much that plays a part in Jane's song. The thing with Aurora is she has such little screen time so trying to edit multiple long videos with her was going to be a challenge. Then I remembered Odette's death scene and she has so many good emotional scenes as well as big singing numbers that match so well with Heart of Stone and I have so many ideas for that one with her.

Anne of Cleves - This was a toss up between Pocahontas and Mulan. The both have similar makeover scenes where they're made to look like a completely different person which fits both Haus of Holbein as well as Get Down. I went with Mulan though because her transformation is so much more drastic when you look at her makeup version vs the Ping version since Pocahontas is still feminine in her original outfit.

Catherine Howard - I was originally just going to make one video and it was this one which is why the series is so out of order cause it wasn't until I was like 3/4 of the way done that I decided to do more of them. I saw this animatic All You Wanna Do | Six the Musical animatic [FLASH WARNING] (youtube.com) which was one of my main inspirations to do the series and the way they drew the character as well as the way the character is in the musical I wanted a character who was sexual and had a lot of dance scenes which of course is Holli. I cast Thumbelina as her younger self because in my opinion they look similar but also Thumbelina has that naive youth about her plus I didn't want to cast a really young character in a romance role with an adult character.

Catherine Parr - Books and writing, there's so many verses in that song that focus on that. Belle is the perfect fit scene wise for a song about writing letters as well as a super emotional song.

I have seen other people's casts and there are so many different characters that you could use for each role. For me it mainly came down to footage for the scenes I wanted to make. I would be interested to see you make an edit with your casting choices ;)

XD When I get the chance I hope to look into my own casting as yes you sharing definitely got me curious of my own thoughts. Looking forward to seeing more of your incredible work+videos. =D

My 273rd edit and after a very emotional weekend to Tuesday, I thought I would make an edit of my comfort characters attempting to cheer me up. Yes, I am single but Esmeralda a huge character crush of mine.

My 272nd edit and a simple concept of reflection of true self with the fantasy lead to serval hours of this edit. Do not get me wrong I am so proud the end result, but holy smokes did take fine tuning with such micro details. It did take me till mid way done to realize I am swapping one couple with silvery white and blonde pair, with another one: that was funny to realize. Ugh why my special interest in Mythology made me go a step further to making Amalthea’s design more medieval Unicorn adjacent instead just easy swap? :P

My 271st edit and created Snow White if with more a modern-ish Disney princess style. I am debating make her Prince have a similar treatment, yet should I do it?

My 270th edit and inspired by my previous edit as why give a modern look to the couple who “met once upon a dream”. :D @thenamelessdoll I can see why you like Aurora as one of your top three Disney princesses or heroines now.

269th edit and nothing too exciting, just wanted to see the Good Fairies from Sleeping Beauty looked in gowns featured from Anastasia. Of the three, Merryweather, Fauna, and Flora, I feel Fauna looks best tied with Merryweather.

268th edit and inspired by @airasora redesign for Jasmine for her Mx character. I had fun making Kida’s alleged character’s notes ( @little-bloodied-angel and I are unsure if accurate or someone wrote it up as some traits do not add up) and I hope you all like this redesign. Yes, Melanesian people can have naturally blonde hair. Shout out to @little-bloodied-angel for introducing me the animated movie Kirikou and the Sorceress (which I was able to watch for free on Amazon). Shoutout to @thenamelessdoll for her post too that inspired me.

A little request from pixie-skull. I hope this is to your liking, I really did my best here. And Eric really looks so badass with those black glasses.

Can I make a suggestions when it comes to your edits? Whenever you draw characters hair from scratch you always seem to make it very flat to the head which makes it look like the character has no skull or a very flat small head.

You should look at the characters existing hair style and base the shape and size of the back/top of the head off of that in order to get it looking natural. Your edits always look better when you swap the hair directly from another character as you aren’t cutting off a portion of the scalp. You can see the difference in your Audrey to Luisa edit where her head is flat as opposed to the other characters in the same picture.

267th edit and a reimagining of  Colette Tatou, from 3D animated movie Ratatouille, to 2D using Hercules’ Megera. Shout out to @thenamelessdoll and @airasora for a great “paused a right moment”. Used chef emoji for the chef hats shown. Funny how Colette and Meg have very similar color hair, as I forgot Colette hair being this shade. I oddly thought it more an unusual color, like a deep violet/purple.

266th edit and this reimagining was fun to decide who be the given characters from Strange World.

265th edit and this both my biggest reimagining of 3D characters to 2D characters. I had fun casting these ladies from Encanto. I am a bit bias but Dolores came out so pretty, but to be fair that character I find so adorable.

264th edit and this reimagining for Franny from Meet the Robinsons was a character I almost forgot about. XP Thank Heavens Aquata updo hairstyle came in handy as Franny hair style I was worried to hand draw it.

@airasora Funny enough that main reason I hate ship him with Dimitri from Anastasia as both are my top ten (maybe five) cartoons boyfriends I do not get their appeal. Dimitri is there no surprise along with Derek from Swan Princess. XD I find it funny we both have Aladdin on a similar list though.

@airasora I am so glad you are shipping someone better with Jasmine. I mean it takes Aladdin THREE films (maybe longer with the TV show) to stop lying to her. Growing up and as someone who values communication, that drove me up the wall to see. Plus and I strongly believe I said this when you started shipping her with Christoper/Charming (I adore the Ch overlap) he one of few born into royal princes I like as Jasmine one of the couple born into royal princesses I like. So besides being a better match in personality pair up, I just like the power they could have together.
