I do agree. Toy Story 4 was. Bad. There was one joke (getting the key back sequence from the old lady) that made me laugh but other then that, the whole movie I was like why was this made??? the third one ended so perfectly????

YEAHHHHH it gives me the same feeling as httyd3 if I'm being honest. The first three Toy Story movies were built around Woody's unfaltering bond with Andy and the meaning he takes from being a child's chosen toy. It's, like, one of the unwavering truths of the universe. You can't just break that thread without bringing everything else into question (why didn't the toys stop feeling special at Al's Toy Barn? why is the playground so much better than the daycare? why is Woody the only one who decides to dip? does he really need to be the center of attention? what makes him think the playground will give him that?). The third film ends so nicely and shows a natural character progression on Andy's part, and the fourth takes away that happy ending and establishes Woody and Buzz - the other main relationship in the franchise - as going apart. Apparently, the happy ending it gives Woody isn't even satisfying, since there's (allegedly) a fifth film in the works.

I bring up the HTTYD films just because the first two were all about Hiccup's relationship with Toothless, which seemed to be a bond stronger than any other that either of them will ever form, and learning to find harmony between humans and dragons. What does the third film do? It says, "actually, you guys are naturally incompatible and will only find peace via separation. There will always be bad people so we have to remove this bond that they're being bad about by completely hiding away one of your species." Bullshit.

Actually there probably is a point to the idea that Winnie sees Sarah as a naive child type. Beyond the fact she's pretty sure her sisters wouldn't do something like that to her on purpose, Sarah never really "grows up" in terms of how they act (and they are like... 6 or 7 years younger than their sisters).

And like... Winnie does care about them. She's terrible at showing it, but she does. She would absolutely be upset at the idea that "her lover took advantage of her sister's naivety"

Like, from Winnie's twisted perspective, not only is Billy a cheating bastard, but he coaxed her own sister into having sex. Effectively using them against her.

What a dick.

And, I mean, Sarah won't correct her on that. This is the first time Winnie has shown genuine concern and care for them in a hot minute. They're thriving. (Rip Billy tho)

new update also eradicating all icons alongside posts on my dash. also seems that they update how the dashboard url works for if you have infinite scroll off, which is BAD bc non-unique urls == more easy to lose your place (this is a problem if you are me specifically bc sometimes a bitch needs to reset the cache with a hard reload and if the url isn't unique I'm going to lose my place !! this is a problem for no one who isn't me (using a version of chrome (dont @ me) that is from 2021 (DON'T @ ME) (I KNOW)) but hrrmf rude.)
