Ghiaccio: *seething* Oh, shut up!!

Sorbet: Looks like he wants us to clam up

farfalle in the reverse mer au

Decided to just do them plus some other characters in the reverse Mer AU-

Farfalle is one of Risotto's crew. All of the humans retain their stands so Farfalle can shapeshift. So they can jump into the ocean to gather the net or see if there's an issue below. They have a lack of focus occasionally and like playing pranks, unfortunately they seem to do so with Melone.

Melone's a marine biologist like Ghiaccio is in the normal Mer AU, but Melone's a bit more questionable with science. Determined to discover something that would blow other scientists' (and the rest of the world) minds. He's generally focused on his actual job but tends to go and bother the local fishermen who sometimes take him by his word because he is science man.

Risotto is a boss of a crew of the fishermen (Sorbet, Illuso, and Farfalle) and usually talks with Melone because Melone can tell him if the fish/sea life that's coming is not doing well or possibly where that sea life is swimming to and staying in order to get the best catch. He also tells Melone as well about what he's noticing at sea.

Ghiaccio is a poor merman that got caught and Melone took from the humans that had caught him. He is currently stuck in a small tank. He bites. Melone shouldn't be that close to his tank.

Introducing... Merfolk La Squadra! A group of merfolk who live in the same area of the sea and often meet to talk, travel, and hunt together. While they mostly keep to the sea, sometimes they venture near the shore or very occasionally crawl on land for their own means. They may be responsible for stolen fishermen's goods and some disappearances under mysterious circumstances...

With the exception of Formaggio and Sorbet (thresher shark and blacktip reef shark respectively), they aren't specific species of fish. Some of them take inspiration from certain kinds, but not directly based off them.

Some more specific lore tidbits under cut!

~ Like all merfolk, they use a lot of body language and sounds to communicate alongside speech. ~ Their base is an underwater cave and the small surrounding area which includes rocks and kelp that obscures the entrance from overhead. ~ They use teamwork to hunt together, and certain mers will work with others depending on the prey they're tackling.

~ Sorbet and Gelato live together and go everywhere with each other. They are very affectionate, and have certain calls and gestures that they use just for each other. ~ They intertwine their tails with each other when they're snuggling. ~ Gelato's markings help him blend in with kelp when he's hunting.

~ Formaggio's top is a pilfered fishing net. ~ He's a very good hunter, but he also steals fish from fishermen.

~ Illuso's scales are very shiny, almost reflective.

~ Prosciutto can change colours! While he usually sticks to darker tones, his colours will become more vibrant when he's really emotional or like the second picture, which is like a threat display. The markings that resemble The Grateful Dead's eyes pulse and shift, which can be disorientating to look at.

~ Pesci and Prosciutto have a special bond, and they live together and stick together even when they're not with the others.

~ Ghiaccio is a very speedy swimmer and efficient hunter. ~ In certain light, his scales have a certain sheen to them that make them look frosty.

~ Melone is very thin and flexible, so he can get in places that the others can't. When he's not out swimming with the others, he can be found lurking in dark places and sneaking around shipwrecks. ~ He's bioluminescent! He can control it at will, so he can flash signals to the others or just light up dark areas. ~ He likes to study other mers, observing their behaviour and trying to figure out what makes them tick. He also observes humans, and may follow ones he finds fascinating to figure their mind out.

~ Although he's more of a fish, Risotto can change colours like an octopus. He doesn't use it for expression very often and sticks to his "default" colours. He uses it more for camouflage.

ooh! if la squadra are also mers i can imagine ghiaccio being an arctic mer adapted to the cold oceans, while risotto is a deep sea mer whose black eyes are adapted to the dark but are sensitive to light.

So I had an idea about arctic mers, and it’s basically just selkies — big and chonky leopard seal mers

Unfortunately, I think that for Ghiaccio to be both part of Risotto’s team and an arctic mer, it would place them farther from the sort of ambiguous place that MCRAC is taking place, but I SEE what you’re putting down, I am PERCEIVING.

All I know about La Squadraatm is that Illuso and Risotto both have bioluminescence, Melone has really long and feathery fins, and Prosciutto’s mer-half is covered in false eye markings.

Happy 25th Birthday Circus beatclub - Brescia: il 24/4 ecco Andrea Oliva

Sono prima di tutto due party con dj internazionali dettano il ritmo del 25esimo compleanno di Circus beatclub - Brescia. L'evento è comunque in entrambi i casi Panorama, l'appuntamento house che vede in console come dj resident uno dei talenti italiani emergenti in quest'ambito, ovvero Albert Marzinotto.

Mercoledì 24 aprile in console come special guest c'è il top dj svizzero Andrea Oliva, che tra gli altri è uno degli artisti di riferimento di ANTS, party del sabato notte al mitico Ushuaia Ibiza. Decisamente esperto, propone musica da una vita. Dopo aver imparato da solo a fare il DJ all'età di 13 anni, Andrea ha iniziato a lavorare in un negozio di dischi dove ha costruito la sua vasta collezione di promo e white label europee e non solo, e si è presto assicurato prenotazioni in alcuni dei migliori club svizzeri, fino a ottenere residenze al Terminus e al Pravda. Con la crescita del suo status in patria, Andrea si allea con il proprietario del Nordstern di Basilea, Agi Isaku, e il duo si ritrova presto a organizzare feste "Banditz" da tutto esaurito in tutta la Svizzera. La sua fama lo porta in tutto il continente e fino a Ibiza, dove nel 2004 viene invitato per la prima volta come DJ allo Space. Da allora la sua carriera è in costante crescita.

Ed eccoci al party del 30 aprile al Circus beatclub - Brescia, ancora una volta Panorama. Questa volta al mixer come special guest insieme al dj resident Albert Marzinotto ci sono i Solardo.

Come ogni anno, ed è un vero record nel panorama italiano, anche per la stagione '23 - '24, Circus beatclub si rifà il look: alle pareti un color ghiaccio scuro perfetto per il futuro (e pure per il presente), impianto luci tutto nuovo, schermi e mirrorball che si muovono durante la serata, nuovi divani, nuova console a cui si accede in modo diverso... chi balla al Circus balla sempre nello stesso club, certo, ma proprio da questa stagione il club sarà sempre diverso grazie ad allestimenti, scenografie ed interventi particolare. 

Lo slogan mette energia: : "future is now", il futuro è adesso. Il ritmo del video disponibile sui social è forte ed elettronico, ma la voce che lo accompagna è calda, latina, come a mettere insieme la forza i suoni del futuro con la voglia di far tardi con il sorriso, con gli amici di sempre.... 

Il giovedì è Rehab, con sonorità hip hop anche internazionali ed il ritmo di Jay K. La domenica Panorama porta in console per ogni serata un top dj italiano attivo in mezzo mondo che sarà resident di un appuntamento già molto atteso, dedicato ad un pubblico che si accontenta solo del meglio. Ecco poi il venerdì e il sabato, da sempre il cuore del divertimento pop al Circus beatclub, che è gestito anche in questa stagione '23 ' - '24 dal gruppo guidato da Antonio Gregori, lo stesso che ha portato al successo anche MOLO a Brescia, grande disco estiva ed il River a Soncino (Cremona), aperto tutto l'anno. Il venerdì al Circus è OffBeat, una notte dedicata a sonorità sempre diverse e scatenate, mentre il sabato è Crush, dedicato agli artisti della Circus Family: Toma e Brio alla voce, Dr.Space in console e tanti, tanti altri.

Circus beatclub ad aprile '24 celebra 25 anni di divertimento. Con Andrea Oliva (24/4) e Solardo (30/4)

Al Circus beatclub - Brescia il ritmo e sempre alto ed aprile 2024 non fa eccezione. Il divertimento ad Aprile 2024 al Circus beatclub - Brescia è già iniziato lunedì 1, con uno scatenato student party firmato Æ. Quello di lunedì 1 aprile 2024 è stato un party di successo assoluto, il che al Circus non è una novità, ma in questo caso è arrivato dopo altri 5 appuntamenti di successo durante il periodo Pasqua '24. 

Avete letto bene. Al Circus beatclub - Brescia, locale simbolo del divertimento della provincia lombarda e non quindi di New York o Dubai oppure a Riccione, si è ballato per 6 notti consecutive.

E che succede ad aprile '24, appunto? Le notti di party in programma sono complessivamente 13, una ogni due o quasi. Non è un record ma poco ci manca, in un panorama di discoteche italiane spesso in difficoltà che aprono una sola sera a settimana. 

Sarebbe un numero importante, così come i due artisti internazionali che il top club bresciano ospita  il 24/4 ed il 30/4, ovvero rispettivamente Andrea Oliva e Solardo… Chi ama la musica elettronica sa chi sono. Chi non lo sa verrà comunque a ballare la loro musica al Circus perché solo in locali come questo il divertimento si vive al massimo.

Ma la notizia importante proprio ad aprile '24 è un'altra:

Circus beatclub, per tutto il mese, celebra 25 anni di feste e divertimento. Infatti il club è nato nel 1999. Come raccontano molti dei protagonisti dlela storia di questo locale in questo breve trailer - https://www.instagram.com/p/C5WJHkLN-BW/ - di locali che diventano una casa per tanti creativi e tanti clubber sono pochi. E' bello che nessuno, in questo video pieno di super professionisti, abbia un nome ed un cognome. Tanto chi ha ballato in questo club, chi ci balla ancora o chi ci lavora oggi, li conosce tutti, i membri della Circus family... ed i protagonisti del Circus non sono loro. Sono le ragazze ed i ragazzi che ogni weekend riempiono Circus beatclub di energia.

Buon compleanno 25esimo Circus.
