I got the hw art books for Christmas and found out 2 things about the au ra concept development.

1) they started as bunny people

2) they had ears at one point

Some of these horn designs slap tho I wish they made it in

Happy Birthday Merbie Harris!!

As all should know, catching a mermaid is an accursed act. Harris the Merman was hooked and landed by sex-starved seamen. Once they noticed they had caught no sultry psiren, they bonked him on the head and threw him back, leaving him for dead. But dead he was not! Nor living neither! Harris returned as a mer-zombie! Or Merbie! With every bite he spreads Mermageddon! Master brewers were inspired by this fishy tale. Skull-zuma

Have a Skull-zuma wip! Ended up wanting to render this because im having a ball with his not-so-much-lore theme this season!

It actually works with my headcanon that he's just a sorta...void shapeshifter hence why he changes each season depending on his base/outside influences :D And eating bone meal is for sure an outside influence.

(Plus some bonus design notes since this is gonna be fully rendered and will take some time lol /pos)

Part 2 of the season 9 tango + his ravager! Part 1 was done at the beginning of the season and let me tell ya. The absolute excitement I had over the April fool’s “Ravager’s Revenge"? Palpable.

I like to think the parkour king needs a cool mount so he keeps the ravager around to explore or chill in the Revenge! Despite how it may charge unexpecting hermits walking by-

Currently on a playthrough of Psychonauts 2 with my friend & ended up making some ocs for us as a lil warmup. Theyre...ex-interns from a different branch who recently transferred over to the motherlobe for a small time.

PLANNING — THE TAILED CHIMERA — STEPHEN HARRIS

Now I am on to the third round of Chimeric making! this time the third Chimera is akin to my mermaid loves, and has a tail of sorts...

This rough doodle is a plan for the making of The Tailed Chimera. The third in my series for this final mockumentary film: The Chimera Artist.

This Tailed Chimera will be a multitude of blue hues, and piped using a medium half-ruffle nozzle. The tail covering will start at the upper thighs, where shorts will be scunched up and worn over the top. The tail will continue down to the knees, where tentacle attachments will loosely cover the rest of the legs. Throughout the interview a mixture of lengths of tentacled growths will form over the coverings of the legs, and hang down around the feet as long blue tendrils.

I’m off to Eastbourne, on the 28th of July, to film with the wonderful artist, Stephen Harris...

This is an illustration I drew of Steve for his Birthday last year. I drew him up as a zombie mermaid/merbie as an amalgamation of our styles... Steve draws awesome zombies, and I am more of a mermaid illustrator!! Check out the killer zombie army Steve has drawn, and more of his weird and wonderful artwork HERE.

Maybe this illustration was a premonition of this future...

I am really excited to work with Steve, he has just the right surreal, ridiculous sense of humour I’m looking for, and have the third filming session for my mockumentary completed, and I can’t wait to get making my third Chimera!!!
