Society as a whole is only as good as the individuals who comprise it. That seems like a pretty obvious observation, much like a meal is only as good as the ingredients used and the competency of the Chef.

Any society that fails to honor the individuality and sovereignty of its individuals will fail. If it forces people to be in lock-step with each other, to conform to only one way of being, that society WILL fail. Too much of only ONE ingredient in any mixture contaminates the mixture, and it can't serve its original purpose.

No ... I'm not on a soapbox today but merely sharing what the upcoming Venus in Aquarius transit will be revealing to us. Venus moves into Aquarius at 11:05am ET US and will remain until March 11th.

Both Venus and Aquarius are signs that manage society, Venus at a group level, Aqua at an individual level. Combine them and you have a period of time where see that the WE is only as good as the I. During this time you will begin to evaluate the groups you are involved with and ascertain if you get to be YOU in that group, or if you're losing yourself in that group. Ideas about how society operates and is governed are surely going to be a part of the conversation during this time.

For you personally, it's about you taking YOU out into the world into places where YOU get to be YOU. If you can't, then dump it. Make sure your ego or the Aqua tendency toward contrariness be the driver, it must be your heart.

TRANSITS OVERVIEW

⭐―― VENUS ENTERS ARIES On February 20th, Venus will enter Aries and will stay there until March 17th. This could mean that you might want to be more independent and assertive in and with your relationships, which can lead to you also demanding more from the people that are involved with you. Some people might experience fast attachments. There's a tendency to be more reckless and impulsive. If there's something you wanted to pursue for some time, this is a great time to do since Aries' energy can make you more enthusiastic, passionate and bold. ⭐―― NEW MOON IN PISCES Generally speaking, a new moon is a time when you "plant the seeds". It's a time to start something new, to make new wishes, to reflect on yourself and prepare for the new ways in which you can improve yourself. This is happening in Pisces so it's a great time for introspection and finding what benefits you and what doesn't. A time to learn that letting go is alright and necessary. You might also feel more inspired and get a creative boost. The house in which the new moon in Pisces falls in, is where you might get a better understanding regarding the issues that this house brings in your life. ⭐―― MERCURY SQUARE URANUS Starting on February 21st, and until February 25th, Mercury will square Uranus. This is an aspect that's quite charged with energy so it can be rather challenging than beneficial. You might also encounter situations that seem to appear out of nowhere that demand you to quickly adapt and perhaps, even take fast decisions while said situations are happening. ⭐―― MERCURY TRINE MARS Starting on February 22nd, and until February 27th, Mercury will Trine Mars. This one fits nicely with Mercury square Uranus since your mind is already stimulated from the square and Mercury's trine with Mars is enhancing your mind further. If you're someone who's working in a field that's mentally taxing, you might find that you have a bit of an easier time. There's a tendency to be more confident and direct in your communication.

Energy Update: A Demanding Week 7/25 - 7/31

There's a lot going on this week so you might want to buckle your seat belt and be prepared to settle in. It's the very beginning of Leo season but we are already beginning to see the ways that our fixed signs are getting wailed on right now by Saturn retrograde in Aquarius and Mars, Uranus, and the North Nodes closely aligned in Taurus.

Right now, our returning Saturn-Uranus fixed square is being further activated by Mars and our lunar nodes and every single planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus) that are going to transit through Leo during this "season" will inevitably further activate this via t-square.

Something has got to give. Saturn and Uranus have been rubbing each other the wrong way since the beginning of 2021 and we are stuck chafing in the middle. You might need to get back to basics - sit down and make a list. What is broken? Is it beyond repair? Do I need to keep it? Will a little glue fix this up real nice or would it be better thrown out or donated? I don't just mean your closets or your junk drawer here. Uranus in Taurus is breaking down all of the structures that have lost their stability - every hit on it by Saturn is another small earthquake that is clearing out debris.

We've been in this energy for a while so you might be handling this and this week may be challenging but in that "I've got this" business as usual sort of sense. If you've been avoiding that work though - if you are holding onto something too tight - if you're stuck your head too far into the sand. Well, it might get rough out there.

Mercury is ahead of the sun now and leading the charge. On Tuesday, they square off with Mars in Taurus which has "red flags" written all over it. On Thursday, under the light of our Leo new moon, they square off with both Uranus and the North Node. That's the fuse. Get out of the arena before you need to this week.

Because Mercury is so poorly aspected, this is a week to say less. Show up for your others if you need to but do it through actions rather than words. Expect to be misunderstood and the misunderstandings won't be cleared up anytime soon.

Don't pick a fight if you can't afford to lose.

Taurus can be placid as a cow. Taurus sometimes seems like they are so damn grounded that they can shrug off anything - like the Dude, Taurus abides.

Until they don't.

This is a week that may make some people understand the idiom: a bull in a china shop. Things will get broken.

You may not even be able to avoid this. The North Node is our point of forward-facing fate - what happens in and around the North node has a way of opening and closing doors. And Uranus is a wild card in the best of circumstances. This combined poorly with the ego storm that inevitably develops when we have a conflict and multiple plants in the sign of Leo.

To add to the fray, Jupiter, our planet of luck and expansion, retrogrades at 08° Aries. This means that there may be a hiccup in some of your plans that you thought were going well. Something may need to be reevaluated. This is right on time and WILL balance things out - if you remember from my post about the interrelated pattern of Jupiter and Saturn's retrograde cycles, this will bring us back to more of a "business as usual" feeling with both planets retrograde - but it will take a hot minute for us all of to adjust.

Altogether, the energy of the week ahead doesn't feel very fair. If that's the energy you're in this week, know that you are right on time. The big flex is to be fair and stay balanced through these challenging energies. Dipping into the well of pessimism may seem oh so easy but it is worth remembering that how you approach the world every day does impact how you will interpret the events happening in your life.

This is a week to practice my favorite conspiracy theory: what if everything does work out? What if it IS okay?

This week is more about showing up and standing witness to your own life than action. Don't be hasty in making decisions during this fiery Mars energy (unless you absolutely need to). Everybody is going to seem like they are stuck in their egos - see if you can be the one who bends. If you can step into mature Leo energy this week - energy that shows up with an open heart and supports the community - you are ahead of the crowd. Celebrate those small wins.

With Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius heavily activated this week, there's not an easy way out of this energy. Try to stay grounded and out of a space of egoic fear or control. Working this energy out of your body through action may lend you some relief - move through it rather than holding on to it.

The big trigger days this week are Tuesday, Saturday, and most especially Thursday during our new moon. Schedule time for self-care if you can and lie low until this passes through by Monday of next week.

Astrology observations #3

These are my personal observations and should be taken in the context of the whole chart, never isolated 😊

Some of this is 18+, no minors allowed

♦️Mars-Uranus aspects can indicate a liking for risky activities and extreme sports, like motorcycling or base jumping. They can even like to put themselves in danger as they need the adrenaline. Routine is super boring for them, they need to try new things very often. They should be careful to release this nervous energy with sports, work they're passionate about or things like that or it can backfire. This aspect can be tempered down with Saturn aspects or a lot of earth energy in the chart.

♦️Venus square mars aspect: can often be mean to the person they like, classic "if he pulled your hair it's because he likes you" stuff. Can be very passionate, might have difficulty to separate feelings from lust. They might have talent for artistic sports like dancing or ice skating. For women, they might like a more sporty fashion style.

♦️Sun-saturn aspects: especially for harsh ones, this can really change the expression of the sun sign. I know someone with sun and several planets in Leo, but they are all square to Saturn and you could never tell she's a Leo; she is very reserved, shy and restrained in life. But as with all Saturn aspects this can change with age, the personality coming through more and more while keeping an amazing sense of discipline, wisdom and grounding.

♦️Moon-uranus aspects: with harsh aspects (conjunction, square, opposition), the mother might have been emotionally cold during the childhood, and she might have been a bit erratic and unpredictable. This could have showed up as frequently moving places, or having a mother considered weird or crazy by society. With soft aspects like trine or sextile this could show up as an untraditional family, maybe having two fathers or two mothers, or parents very into technology, but this was not hard on the person and it helped them develop their individuality and independence.

♦️Taurus mercury: these people can learn much slower than other people (this does not mean they are not as intelligent, their rhythm is just different). At school they might have felt behind their schoolmates or felt like they didn't have enough time to finish their exams/homework. It is important that they don't feel bad about this and take the time they need to do their work. This might be less strong with Uranus influence on mercury. ♦️ Aquarius moon natals and their need to always read and watch self-development content without ever actually feeling their feelings 🙃

♦️ Venus conjunct moon: these people are so kind, they have such a big heart and do not wish harm on anyone, please stay mindful of who has access to you as many people might want to be in contact with this energy but sometimes also energy vampires.

♦️ Mercury conjunct/square pluto and their dark humor! I have this in my chart and one of my colleagues actually said to me three days after she started: "your jokes can be really dark sometimes" 😂 it gets worse when I'm tired as I don't filter my jokes so much before saying them. These aspects might also think a lot about death and dark themes, they can be the type to think "what happens if I die tomorrow", or "I could die if I do this" but not in a worried way, just thinking rationally about what is possible.

♦️ Leo mars women and their secret backup plan of becoming a stripper or an exotic dancer 💃 these women often have a talent for dancing, and performing can make them feel desired and confident.

♦️ Aries moon/mars placements and their road rage! Both my parents have these placements and my god the number of stressful rides to school I had when I was a child 😂 this can also apply to the other fire mars.

♦️ Lilith conjunct ascendant: these people often provoke reactions everywhere they go, they rarely go unnoticed whether it is positive reactions or negative. The women with this aspect might get sexualised a lot, and the men with this aspect might attract animosity from other men. ♦️ Sun-jupiter and moon-jupiter aspects: they might always see the bright side of things, "it will get better", "this is temporary", seeing the glass half-full. A lot of optimism, faith in a higher meaning, maybe too optimistic sometimes and too trusting that things will unfold in the right way.

♦️Mars square pluto women often attract creepy men on the street, interactions with aggressive men might be unfortunately common. It is important to not repress their anger and channel their power in something like martial arts.

♦️Gemini moon/IC: they might love to talk with their loved ones at home, a lot of communication and learning in their private life. If they live alone they might be a lot on the phone or always have music or tv or radio on.

♦️Mercury square saturn: they might doubt their intellectual abilities when young, their learning style might not fit the classic school system. It is important that they are encouraged by their family, and with time they will gain confidence and master the learning techniques that fit them best.

♦️Mars in virgo might care too much about pleasing their partner in bed and have a hard time receiving pleasure without giving anything. They might also feel self-conscious if they do not feel "clean" like not fresh out of the shower. It is important for them to practice letting go of their thoughts and doubts and be present in their body. They deserve pleasure as much as everybody else!

♦️ Jupiter in the 2nd house might have a very good self-esteem, if the moon and venus are not too afflicted. And if it is the case it helps the native deal with the harder aspects.

♦️ That's why it is so dangerous to interpret an  aspect in isolation of the rest of the chart, a challenging aspect might be very beneficial in a chart and less in another one. For instance moon conjunct saturn might be more challenging for a Capricorn moon which is already quite controled and closed off, but in the sign of Aries it might help the native tame their impulsivity and control better their emotions. 

♦️ Or moon square Uranus might be beneficial for a Capricorn moon or a Taurus moon as it might help them break out of their routine and become more adaptable and flexible to change.

Happy Mercury Day

Mercury is in Leo approaching an opposition to Saturn and a sqaure to Uranus/Rahu. Leo is ruled by the Sun, also in Leo so we could be LOUD and overbearing when it comes to communication && messages. We just want people to just get us right?!?! That opposition to Saturn feels like a heavy hand coming down on our fun and games, with a harsh reality check. Have you been neglecting your daily routine or duties to opt for wild nights out with friends? Saturn is here to put a stop to that. Uranus/Rahu starts the conversation to abruptly change the directive while Saturn makes the final blow. There is still fun to be found, it's Leo season of course, but watch your step going forward; the ground you are on is unstable.

Mars in the 2nd house is very possessive

Moon Aquarius is easy to sympathize with those around, although they may have many bad qualities, they will often be ignored by people because of their support in the team. Some in this group when they don't like someone and hate openly can easily recognize their feelings, these people can play bad tricks like using crowds, councils to bully

Here are some of the positions that I don't like very much, doesn't mean they will all be the same and I hate everyone with this aspect, it just brings some difficulties and disadvantages, takes a lot of time time to recognize and transform it:

1. Moon Square/Opposite Pluto: often emotionally volatile and explosive, has difficulty controlling anger, may experience more bad luck with women

2. Moon square / Opposite Uranus: actually this is one of the most horrible corners for me because as far as I know and actually it means about their separation from the mother physically or mentally

3. Venus square/opposite Mars: causes sexual attraction but often changes partners too quickly and gets nowhere

4. Mars Libra: passive in problem solving. The house in this position plays an important role, like the one who moves the pieces tactically. I think it is necessary to add other angles to strengthen this position, especially Pluto to increase ambition and determination.

5. Venus Gemini: often emotional, easy to play emotional roller coaster with others, unpredictable, interesting, but for me this is not a very good position in love, they easily find it difficult. hard to find the right person

6. Moon square/Opposite Saturn: often encounters problems in childhood such as abandonment, working in a difficult, deprived environment, shouldering responsibility, loneliness; They have quite a lot of psychological damage, rarely share, confide, and find it difficult to open their hearts to others. When they learn to be less strict with themselves and learn to accept and love themselves, the door in their souls will lead them to the good things that are waiting for them on the other side of their hearts.

Venus trine/sextile Mars: they easily radiate sexual attraction to other people (regardless of gender), which makes it easier for them to have relationships

Ascendant trine/sextile/conjunct Mercury: usually curious, cheerful, child-like eager people, they often have an active, playful appearance.

Ascendant trine/sextile/conjunct Sun: confident, shine, positive energy

Moon in Sagittarius/9th: very active, cheerful, likable, open and optimistic, they respect others and different cultures and religions

Mercury in Gemini: funny people, lots of topics to talk to, easy to talk to anyone, except people they don't like

venus biquintile pluto is a really interesting aspect. the biquintile is usually associated with creativity and the development of artistic ability, and with venus being involved, there is even more potential and a genuine love for art. the native will find happiness and connection through their creative pursuits. with pluto on the other end of the aspect, something interesting happens. there can be a tendency towards obsession; they are more dedicated and more patient, with a strong work ethic and a desire to find meaning through their art, and it can bring them real catharsis. they may discover and nurture repressed parts of themselves through their art, and overall, there is a bit of a darker theme to this otherwise light and bright placement.

moon square pluto is often given a really negative spin online; i’ve seen everything from emotionally out of control to “will abuse their children”! this just isn’t a helpful way to interpret harsh aspects. my experience with this placement is that big emotions are very frightening, often because of the native’s early experiences. they seek to “control” their emotions, which can make them quite vulnerable to impulsive or addictive behaviours. they often have a deep relationship with mother figures, and with their children, which yes, at their worst, can become enmeshed and intense. but at their best, these relationships are intimate and founded on mutual trust, long lasting and able to weather the harshest storms.

venus-saturn aspects are all about delayed gratification. the native has to grow into their loving, creative, social side, and they usually have to "grow through what they go through"; depending on the aspect, they may just feel a little different, or have no interest in relationships, or they may grow up lonely or isolated, or deal with unhealthy relationships. they have to do a lot of self-work to develop self-love and nurture the soft, creative side of themselves, before they can really feel at home around other people. but when they reach that point, they can build beautiful, devoted and ultimately very healthy connections with others, that allow all involved to really thrive.

During Leo season, the heart (ruled by Leo) has a voice. It will tend to be ignored during the other 11 transits, but during Leo season it's almost impossible to ignore its "pitter patter."

That's because at the same time there is a square between Mercury in Leo and Uranus in Taurus at 18°, a Mars/Aries ruled degree that wants to take action. So the heart WANTS to speak today.

THE NATAL CHARTS RELATION TO PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hi, I love this question! I can see arguments for both sides, but in my opinion I think all placements within someones chart make up appearance. I say this because our emotions and inner psychology directly affect physical appearance. And the same can be said for our physical environments. Here are some examples:

Gemini Saturn in the 12th House - Prone to getting bags under the eyes due to poor sleep. Struggles with anxiety and poor appetite.

Venus in the 2nd House - Having the resources to maintain ones appearance. Having access to high quality food, clothing, makeup, and skincare.

Neptune in the 8th House - Prone to drug usage, and is especially susceptible to the negative side effects. These types look spaced out and detached even if they have never used substances. They've probably been asked, "Are you high?" even if dead sober.

12th house stellium - Looks mysterious, even when you get to know them. No one ever truly knows a 12th house stellium. My life long friend constantly reveals details about her life that change the way I view her. And I never really know what she is up to, even when we were in each others daily lives. She travels more than any young person I know, yet remains humble and wise. 12th house stelliums are the ultimate mystiques, and this is an incredibly attractive quality.

1st House stellium - Their distinct personality overpowers whatever their physical appearance may be. Usually people attach traits onto others based on their physical appearance, but the reverse happens for 1st house stelliums. It is almost like they're cartoon characters, its like their personality and sense of character was developed before their physical form even came into existence. Their physical appearance suits who they are so well, I don't know how else to describe it.

Pluto in the 6th house - There are periods in which people with this placement will be overworked.

Scorpio Uranus in the 12th House - The wild card. Their subconscious state shifts drastically and changes unexpectedly, and this most definitely affects the ways in which they present themselves to the world.

A classmate of mine from primary school has this aspect and used to rebel against teachers to impress his friends. He also bullied the weaker ones. Moon sextile Mercury this aspect gives really good memory. People with this aspect are often very intelligent. These people are interested in their origin and roots. Mercury sextile Uranus gives the ability to discover and invent new things. These people like new technologies. They often need to exchanges ideas and opinions with others. They have novel way of thinking and they like to argue about opinions. Jupiter in 11th house people are really lucky when it comes to friends, groups. Others find it easy to befriend them. Even their open enemies are relatively respectful and have shown mercy. They usually have a lot of close friends. People with the Moon in Virgo feel that anything they do is not good enough for their standards and will always find something to complain or nag about. Virgo moons tend to get upset if certain things aren’t perfect. I also noticed Virgo moons can have severe bitch energy. Libra moons may avoid conflicts and confontation.
