Prompt: The dragon prince

We're on the last stretch! Can you believe this?

That being said, I'm so glad The Dragon Prince made it to the prompt list. It's such a great series, definitely on my top 5 favorite cartoons of all time, and Rayla and Callum are SO SIMILAR to Merida and Hiccup it's insane.

I've watched the entire series beginning to end thrice already and I loved it every time. The world building and character writing is so good in this one you guys. Also. As I mentioned before, the characters are so similar to our ship that it could very well be a Mericcup AU with little to no modifications. Heck, Rayla even has a Scottish accent!

Mericcup Month 2019, Day 22 - Thistle!AU

Let me recover from the illness which is named “YOU”

Angst, salt and glass.

Modern AU, where Hiccup and Merida used to date when they were children (Hiccup was 14 and Merida was 11), but Merida didn’t know what love is and manipulated Hiccup to get what she wanted. 

The boy used to thought that he was bad for her and was depressed because of it, but one day, when the girl sent him for the thistle and he got his hands terribly hurt, he understood that Merida simply used him and didn’t love him at all, then he left her and moved to his homeland with his father. He tried even to commit a suicide, because he didn’t know how to live without her. After all this Hiccup’s soul became as hard as the stone, though he couldn’t forget Merida.

Merida firstly didn’t get why Hiccup had left her. Then she started to think that she was the real asshole and blame herself for everything she did. It would be great if she stoped at this point, but noooo. She hated herself, but tried to convince everyone that she was strong, so the girl used to be even more arrogant and stubborn. She wrote a diary of self-hate and sometimes looked at the thistle Hiccup brought that day.

And after 5 years of separation they met in subway...

This time I decided use Anastasia, as it is one of my favorite animated movies and I love all the characters ❤️ uwu.

I remember seeing a Mericcup fanart by xcandyslice, that became one of my favorites 💖.

Somehow I wanted to get the idea back and do it in my style.

Mericcup month has finally started 💗 and since the prompts are out, I'll try to do as many as I can.

This time and since it is September 1st, I decided to use Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as a movie, one of my faves btw.

I know there wasn't such a romantic rapprochement between Ginny and Harry yet, but I wanted to do it different.

Also for this edit I put Hicc as a member of Hufflepuff, respecting the headcanon that I have 💖.

Hi everyone!!! It’s that time of year again!! Well, at least it’s getting very close to it. XD Are you all excited to bring back the Big Four fandom? Or at least, bring it back slowly, bring in some new fans. Anyway, I know I’m excited for it. I know it’s only July, but we try to get the prompts out two months in advance so people can plan what they’re going to do.
