MGS3 Christmas headcanons

Here’s some Christmas-related headcanons I came up with for the FOX unit since the holidays are near :3

Zero:

- He wears ugly sweaters that his sister knits him

- After the Boss’s death, he took her place in pretending to be Santa and putting Christmas presents under Big Boss’s tree to help keep his belief in Santa alive (albeit begrudgingly, since he still thinks it’s laughable for a grown man to believe in Santa)

- Although he’s not the type to eat too badly during the month, he’ll overeat during Christmas dinner. Afterwards, he’ll go into a food coma and sleep for the rest of the afternoon.

- His favorite alcohol to have with eggnog is brandy.

- His favorite food to eat around the holidays is Christmas pudding

- He’s not a huge decorator for Christmas but he’ll add a few things to his house, such as a Christmas tree, a nativity set, and maybe some Christmas lights

- When it snows, he loves to snuggle in a blanket near the fire place with a book, although Big Boss (when visiting him) will often bug him to come outside and play in the snow with him.

- His favorite Christmas movie is It’s A Wonderful Life

- He doesn’t care for Christmas pop songs that much but does enjoy Christmas hymns. He likes to sing them whenever he decorates his tree.

- He often criticizes how materialistic Christmas has become

- He’ll bring traditional British Christmas food to get-togethers Big Boss:

- He loves to eat around the holidays and will stuff his face throughout the month. He can put away a lot more food during dinner and his post-meal naps tend to be longer, as he’ll hibernate well into the next day.

- He once got a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas as a kid.

- His choice of alcohol in his eggnog is bourbon

- He bakes his own cookies for Santa, even if he’s not very good at it and often burns them

- He always makes sure he decorates his house very extravagantly for Santa

- When it snows, he’s the type to go out and play in it. Occasionally he will get into hardcore snowball fights with the neighborhood kids.

- His favorite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer

- His favorite Christmas song is Santa Claus is Coming to Town

- His favorite food to eat around the holidays is gingerbread cookies Para-Medic:

- She has an obsession with Krampus (the Christmas demon)

- She loves to bring up to people that Christmas was originally a pagan holiday

- Her favorite Christmas movie is Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (eventually replaced by Nightmare Before Christmas in the 90’s)

- Her favorite Christmas song is Carol of the Bells

- She loves A Christmas Carol and reads it every year

- She used to spends holidays with her family but eventually stopped doing that because she found spending time with the rest of the FOX unit on Christmas more fun (and because her family tends to be annoying on the holidays)

- Even well into November she is still into the Halloween spirit so she’ll leave her Halloween decorations up but add a Christmas flair to them.

- She tries to be wary of what she eats around the holidays but fails as she’ll eat a bunch of candy and treats. She’ll feel guilty about it afterwards.

- Her favorite food to eat around the holidays is fruitcake

- She once attempted to disprove Big Boss’s belief in Santa using science but it still didn’t sway him. Eventually she gave up and just let him believe what he wants.

- Her choice of alcohol in eggnog is cognac and rum Sigint:

- He also got a BB gun as a kid.

- He isn’t as much into the Christmas spirit as other people although still enjoys it.

- His favorite Christmas movie is Die Hard

- Naturally, Sigint thinks Big Boss is a nutcase for believing in Santa but tries to stay out of it

- His favorite food to eat around the holidays is turkey

- He also loves to eat around the holidays although will mostly indulge in meats

- He finds eggnog gross and prefers hard cider

- He finds fruitcake gross

EVA:

- She’ll often wear skimpy Christmas dresses to get Big Boss’s attention (although oftentimes it doesn’t work)

- She’ll also sometimes have desperate attempts to get him under the mistletoe

- She is very wary of what she eats on the holidays and always feels to need to bring up how she doesn’t want to ruin her figure when she is offered food

- Her favorite food to eat around the holidays is cordial cherries with liquor. As much as she claims she eats healthy she'll occasionally sneak-eat them.

- She often insults Big Boss for his belief in Santa

- She drinks cranberry wine as her choice of alcohol

- Her favorite type of movies to watch around Christmas are romantic comedies

- Her favorite Christmas song is Santa Baby Ocelot:

- He hates Christmas music and complains when it’s on

- Ocelot actually doesn’t like Christmas. He instead celebrates Novy God (Russian New Year) which he says is superior to Christmas

- He’ll indulge on the holidays but mostly traditional Russian food.

- His favorite food to eat around the holiday is Olivier salad

- He admittedly has a soft spot for Big Boss’s belief in Santa even if he doesn’t want to admit it. When Zero couldn’t put presents under the tree anymore he took his place in doing it.

- His favorite Christmas movie is How the Grinch Stole Christmas because he relates to the Grinch

-Prepare for lame jokes. No, seriously, Raiden has some of the corniest dad jokes in existence.

-Takes you on dates in the city, just the two of you walking around hand in hand, admiring the bustling scenery together.

-Will let you dress him up like a fairy princess or whatever you want, makeup, hair and nails included.

-You two have King Kong and Godzila movie marathons every week.

-These marathons usually have lots of cuddling, snacks, sparky comments, giggling, and occasionally goofy imitations of the battles taking place in the currently playing movie mixed in with them.

-Loves playing video games with you, especially fighting or multi-player shooting games.

Now that you were here in Alaska, back with him again, the cold wasn't really a burden with such good company.

He pinched your cheek as he smiled and you recalled the moment he was talking about; you wrapped on one of his fluffiest sweaters, forcing him to cuddle you in bed before he had to head off to take care of his dogs.

You pressed your back further into his chest, lolling your head to the side and resting it on his shoulder bone. Only your heads were visible as the dawn cascaded through the creaky wood.

You nodded, already feeling yourself close your weary eyes, nape resting on the expanse of his shoulder, legs resting between his own.

He wiped your cheeks with his thumb as he laid back down on the bed with you, not even letting go of the princess carrying as he laid back down on your many pillows.

"Cmon sweetie, you're with me now"

You pressed your face on his chest, trying to surpress your incessant cries you didn't even know where they were coming from. He melted as you muffled your words into his naked chest.

"Didn't want to- wake you up"

Interrumpted by a hiccup you felt even more tears falling down your cheeks, making you separate your wet and hot face from his chest, rubbing your eyes.

"Don't waste such a pretty voice in such fool words"

He whispered out, grasping your hair and pressing your face into his neck. Your hands now hugged his neck as he laid down a bit, finding a comfortable position and pecking your head on the process, rubbing soothing circles with his thumb on your knee.

You both fell into a comfortable silence and when he looked down he saw his wet chest and your beautiful pout as your lips were pressed tightly into his pectoral.

You muttered as you hid your face on the pillows, letting him take off your pants for you, lifting your hips so he could slide them off.

"Well, I sure am having a distraction right now"

You didn't even look at him as he patted your thigh. Letting him lift you up to take off your jacket and shirt as he made sure you didn't have to move a muscle while putting your pijamas on. You heard some shuffling behind and you guessed he was getting ready to bed too, already getting yourself comfortable under the covers as you waited for him.

"See? All nice and comfy here, not out there getting yout hands dirty for me"

He pulled you into his arms immediately after laying down on the matress, rubbing your back with his thumb.

"I do it because you deserve it"

Raiden (Jack)

★ this man is an absolute vamp so he isn't grossed out by some blood

★ uses your period just to give you belly rubs, he loves massaging your skin sm

★ like solid, if you are in any kind of pain he is going to be 24/7 on you

★ periods with Raiden definitely consist in constant massages, movies and many, many cuddles

He was sitting on the other end of the couch, watching the movie he couldn't stop telling you about. Looking at you to see your reaction to a particular scene, he saw that something was wrong.
