Michael is all shop talk and I really like his confident/jaded/annoyed working attitude.

— As usual, Maria is the voice of the audience, 🤣! And Michael is just lying to himself when he says he wants nothing of the sort. He knows it and we know it.

Michael: Just a couple of horndogs looking for a place to make out. I mean, we don't need that. We got my apartment, you know?

— There's this jaded tone in his voice, but he gives himself away so fast lol He just admitted it in a Michael sort of way. 🤣

Topolsky: The best way to protect yourselves is to just act like normal kids. Max: We are normal kids!

— I love his answer. I mean, Topolsky is onto him, but he keeps his cool as a leader does.

— Max and Liz don't give anything away but they're freaked out by her appearance. It's a bucket of cold water: they were just trying to live their dream life and suddenly this woman appears out of nowhere telling them they're in danger. Why does this always happen to them?

— Maria and Michael acting like nothing happened between Max and Liz… acting like they're not dying to find out about those 'flashes'… tsk tsk 😏

Maria: I saw… a cluster of stars… like shooting through space. Um… this, like, incredible sunset, like near the rings of Saturn.

— Michael is telling the truth about her red shoes… I wonder if he knows that Maria is lying about the Saturn sunset…

— It's true that people can't control the visions they share - that's the whole point of the flashes - because I'm pretty sure Liz would never wanted to share her embarrassing childhood experiences with her mom's makeup.

— Were those crazy kids making so much noise that someone found them, or what the heck happened? Why would anyone open the door of an eraser room?! 😧

Diane: Wait. I'm a little lost… You mean Liz and Max were cleaning erasers when they created this disturbance? Principal: No. They were what we used to call "making out".

— I'm the one who's getting lost… What is it called now? To me, it's still 'making out'. Do I need to update my lingo? 🤔

Principal: What did I get wrong, Liz? Liz: Well, It… it's just wrong that we're here, I mean, any of us.

— Liz stands her ground, almost like a lawyer defending her client, while Max looks guilty as hell. 🤣🤣

Diane: I'm sure there's an explanation for it. I'm certain that Max wouldn't miss any of his classes unless there was a good reason. Max?

— Lady, when you have a love as intense is these two have, there's always a good reason to cut through academic classes. Because these kids are smart enough to make a comeback, but you have to enjoy life while you have it.

Liz: Mom, it's not like I never kissed a boy before in my entire life. Nancy: You know, I don't think it's the kissing, but the actual volume that's the issue.

— Mom has a point here. I mean, Liz never got in trouble for hanging out with Kyle.

Nancy: I want you to come straight home from school. Is that agreed? Liz: No, I can't. I have detention…

— Wow, they have never done this before… Nancy is completely unaware of how 'bad girls' behave! 🤣

Alex: Liz, what's goin' on? Liz: Alex, the most incredible thing is happening to me, but I… I don't even know what it is! Alex: What?!

— Alex speaks for the audience here, LOL Liz is back on cloud nine, she doesn't care about detention or real-world stuff, and why would she? Real-world stuff is not nearly as intense as her passion for Max.
