Micro Server IC Market Size, Share Growth Status
The Micro server IC market is projected to reach USD 2.2 billion by 2026, growing at a CAGR of 12.6% during the forecast period. Some of the key driving factors of the Micro server IC market are low power consumption and low space utilization of micro servers, growth in the trend of cloud computing and web hosting, and emergence of hyperscale data center architecture.
Micro Server IC Market Key Players The micro server IC market includes major Tier I and II players like Intel Corporation (US), Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (US), Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP (US), Quanta Computer Inc. (Taiwan), NVIDIA Corporation (US), and others.
Download PDF: https://www.marketsandmarkets.com/pdfdownloadNew.asp?id=952
Hardware segment of micro server IC market to hold highest market share during the forecast period Hardware is expected to constitute the largest market share of micro server ICs during the forecast year. Since hardware constitutes the main part of an SoC, companies such as Intel and ARM are working toward increasing the capability of their ICs by making the architecture denser and more efficient. Rising adoption of micro servers for dedicated hosting, front-end web, big data workloads, content delivery network, computing applications, and low space and application-specific functionality drive market growth. Moreover, the emerging edge computing ecosystem, namely the provisioning of advanced computational, storage and networking capability near data sources to achieve both low-latency event processing and high-throughput analytical processing, is expected to drive the market for micro server hardware in the coming years.
Egde computing application to hold highest CAGR in micro server IC market Edge computing is one of the emerging applications for micro server ICs and is expected to hold the highest growth rate during the forecast period. The implementation of hyperscale cloud and growing investments in IoT have pushed edge computing into further limelight. As organizations strive to remain competitive in the digital business era, especially in a post-pandemic world, edge computing is a new enabler of customer insights and retention. Independent software vendors, system integrators, and enterprises will look to build cloud-independent solutions which will drive edge computing applications. Additionally, the growing adoption of 5G solutions will offer reduced latency and a way to connect the rising number of edge devices, particularly in the consumer space. There has been the rising need for edge computing for applications such as connected and autonomous vehicles, smart manufacturing and IoT, and smart cities. It has spurred the growth of edge data centers, and the rising importance of compact servers due to space constraints provides opportunity for micro servers.
Enterpise end user segment to hold highest market share during the forecast period The enterprise end-user segment of the micro server IC market is expected to hold the highest market share during the forecast period. With the growth of smartphones, social platforms, big data, and IoT, the quantity and diversity of data has become huge. Managing dense workloads, ramping up data storage and security, upgrading legacy systems, and accommodating the technology demand a mobile workforce. Therefore, it has become important to modernize IT infrastructure, especially servers, to make them easy to manage and completely secure—whether critical applications and data are hosted on-site or in the cloud. Small and medium enterprises need server platforms that not only address current needs but also seamlessly handle future workloads, while lowering costs. Micro servers utilize lower power per node, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency which makes them an ideal choice for medium-size enterprises.
Micro server IC market in APAC to grow at the highest rate APAC is expected to grow at the fastest rate for the micro server IC market owing to the presence of countries with large populations and rising adoption of micro servers across small and medium enterprises. The increasing penetration of internet services, along with the adoption of smart devices, has been fueling data generation. This further fuels the expansion of data centers in the APAC region. Rising importance of micro servers due to low power consumption and cost-effective solutions can be used for light load applications in data centers, which also drives the growth of the market. Data centers have become the hotspot of the IT market in China in recent years. China plans to invest an estimated USD 1.4 trillion over 6 years to 2025, in collaboration with government and private technology giants such as Alibaba and Huawei to generate opportunities for connected devices, AI, and autonomous driving applications, which will further drive edge computing applications.

“Disconnected” and on a macro level it’s a series of silly calls because of a downed phone line or internet server somewhere causing people to freak out. On a micro level, it’s Eddie in El Paso and Buck in Los Angeles, having separate but parallel mini tantrums because they keep trying to call each other, but missing each other. And Buck is not on his A-game at work, he’s super clumsy because he feels like he’s missing the left half of his body. And Eddie is El fucking Paso, disconnected from his people, the 118, the family he chose. And he and Chris are still making snail level progress. He’s just as disjointed as Buck.
And the other subplot is Henren trying to plan a sexy date night, but a series of shenanigans and mom duties keep forcing them to postpone.
The episode ends with Henren having a cute candlelit dinner. And Buck and Eddie finally being able to talk to each other. Buck answers the phone and does that cute flustered smile/sigh/exhale thing that he does when he’s around Eddie and says “Hi Eddie” and then the episode cuts.

#if this is incorrect you never saw it#but if any of it is correct I am going to be the most obnoxious bitch on this app#911 abc#buddie#henren

big congrats on 2k!!! id like to put in a request for a drabble of bucky x reader where reader is supposed to infiltrate/kill thunderbolts but falls in love instead.. and angst ensues 🤭🤭🤭
fuckkkkk. this isn't fair. i said it before, and i'll say it again, i'm such a plot person that writing a short little drabble about this literally hurt my heart (and i have a tachycardia). and, once again, don't be surprised if this ends up turning into a real fic because i so badly want to write more of this
send an ask for my 2,000 followers celebration!
warnings/tags: thunderbolts, angst, mentions of wilson fisk, protective!bucky, mention of a kill switch (for reader), moral dilemma
You slip through the Watchtower’s ventilation shaft at 0200, pulse steady, mind a razor-edged checklist: map the building, isolate Barnes, place the micro-charges, vanish before dawn.
Three weeks ago Wilson Fisk slid the dossier across your table—Terminate the New Avengers. Your freedom for their lives. Easy math, you told yourself.
Except Bucky Barnes is nothing like the file photos.
Tonight he catches you in the dark of the server room—metal fingers closing around your wrist before you even sense him move. The emergency lights bathe everything in crimson.
“What did they promise you?” he asks, voice low, half-tired, half-sad. No anger yet. That’s worse.
You tear free, knife flashing. He meets it with his vibranium palm, sparks skittering off the blade.
“Y/N, stop.” Your own name hurts coming from him. You’ve spent the last sixteen nights on adjacent rooftops sharing cold coffee and colder jokes, pretending you were just another freelancer running recon for the team. Pretending you didn’t memorize the angle of his smile or the way he tilts his head when he’s listening.
Your ears ring with every reason you can’t have this—Fisk’s collar at your throat, the kill-switch in your bloodstream, the tiny explosives already magnetized to the north support beam.
Bucky’s eyes find the outline of those charges beneath your suit. Realization eclipses the hurt. “You’re here to burn us down.”
Ava phases through the wall behind him, ghost-white and humming with quantum static. Yelena emerges from a hatch overhead, knife twirling, expression unreadable. Alexei’s footsteps drum in distant corridors. You’re surrounded by people who’ve called you teammate for nearly a month.
“Give me one good reason,” Bucky murmurs, stepping between you and the others, “why I shouldn’t radio Walker to pull the alarm.”
You think of the detonator tucked beneath your ribs. Of Fisk’s voice: If you fail, the toxin will liquefy your lungs in sixty seconds.
You also think of Bucky at 3 a.m., half-asleep on the common-room couch, offering you the blanket because “New York radiators never do what they’re told.” You think of how Bob kept setting extra places at dinner so you’d feel welcome.
Give me one good reason…
You press the blade to your own throat. “Because if you stop me, he kills me anyway.” Your hand doesn’t tremble—but your voice does. “And I don’t want to die hating myself.”
Anguish flickers across his face, sharp as shrapnel. He holsters his sidearm, raises his metal hand, and crushes your detonator into glittering shards. “Then we change the math.”
Behind him, Yelena lowers her knife. Ava’s shoulders soften. You can almost hear Alexei mutter a relieved curse down the hallway.
Your comm unit crackles—Fisk’s timer triggering. Forty-five seconds before the toxin releases.
Bucky catches your collapsing form, hoists you into his arms. “Lab’s two floors down,” he rasps to the team. “Ava—phase the doors open. Yelena—anti-serum cabinet. Bob—clear the corridor. And someone warn Walker before he shoots first and asks obnoxious questions later.”
You taste metal, feel your heartbeat stutter, but the last thing you see is Bucky’s jaw set in stubborn determination—like he’s done choosing between what’s right and what’s easy.
The world blurs into darkness, but his voice anchors you: “Stay with me, doll. We’re not letting you go.” And in that breath between torment and mercy, you realize falling in love wasn’t the failure. It was the mission all along.

Growth in trend of cloud computing and web hosting to boost the market for micro server IC
The increasing demand for cloud and web-based services is driving the server market to deliver huge amounts of content for users across the world. These services related to web hosting or web browsing over the internet do not require high computation capability, which creates the need for low-processing power machines, thus driving the market for micro servers. Web hosting companies are prime candidates for micro server use for carrying out lightweight computing tasks. According to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the increasing concern for data security is prompting organizations to have their own data centers; therefore, companies are taking an interest in micro servers. In addition, organizations are shifting toward cloud-related services to reduce their infrastructure and maintenance costs. Thus, with organizations increasingly opting to host applications and content over the cloud, the demand for low power consuming and highly scalable servers is growing, which is driving the micro server IC market.
Hardware segment is expected to lead the market during the forecast period
Hardware constitutes the main part of a micro server. The micro server hardware consists of many components, including a processor, network interface cards (NICs), peripheral component interconnect express (PCIe), graphics processing units (GPUs), memory, storage, and I/O controller. Players such as Intel and ARM are focusing on improving the capability of ICs by integrating more components into SoCs, such as memory, processor, and storage. The pressure to support billions of devices and users is changing the composition of data centers. Vendors are focusing on innovating new technologies for providing compact hardware solutions that OEMs require to build micro servers. SoC providers are focusing on creating new technologies such as integrated Gigabit Ethernet and new controllers to reduce the power consumption of the micro servers running on them.
Web hosting and enetrpise applications to hold the largest market size of micro server IC market during the forecast period
Web hosting is a type of SaaS hosting solution that allows applications to be available from remote cloud infrastructure and to be accessed by users globally through the internet. Micro servers are ideal for web hosting, video streaming, downloads, social networking, and handling corporate logins, among other things. Micro servers are also used widely across enterprise applications as they are easy to configure, offer the reliability of a more robust server, and are powerful enough to handle many small business tasks.
Micro server IC market in APAC to grow at the highest CAGR during the forecast period
APAC is expected to be the fastest-growing region for the micro server IC market due to major driving factors such as increasing demand for hyperscale data centers, increased media consumption and storage, rising number of internet users, and emerging technologies such as cloud computing and edge computing. APAC poses a great potential for the micro server industry due to the high growth of internet datacenters in this region. The 2 countries that stand out in this region are Japan and China. Global giants such as Facebook, Amazon, Alibaba, and Baidu have already established their data centers in this region and are planning to expand their dominance in other regions.

(An Aventurine/reader one shot, short and sweet, established relationship, mildly suggestive at the end if you squint, trying to get back into writing real stuff after a year so idk about the quality)
It was methodical. The tapping, the way his fingers thrumbed rhythmically on the table, one after the other, how his rings would sometimes catch the light as he did. What an odd thing to notice...
Aventurine was mindlessly tapping the bar top as he watched you with eyes like blades, slicing deep into you. Not harshly of course, as if he could ever look at you harshly... But intense all the same.
That ever-present smile was more strained than usual. Another odd thing to notice, really, especially when you were supposed to be avoiding looking at him, eyes trying to find anything else to focus on.
"Hello, friend."
It made you tense, that infliction... It sent the nerves under your skin into a frenzy, unsure whether to flee or fight, really wanting nothing more than to just disappear. He didn't seem keen on letting you off the hook, though.
"Don't give me that look. I'll almost believe you don't wanna see me."
He teased, sliding into the barstool next to you, his arm brushing yours, making you suppress the urge to jerk away.
He'd been singling you out ever since he noticed your active avoidance, you could tell. The last few days, the amount of time you've 'accidentally' run into each other in public... You cringed slightly at the thought, it wasn't coincidence.
He huffed at your silence, rolling his pretty eyes as he gestured for the server to make you another of whatever drink had been long forgotten in front of you, condensation pooling on the table.
"Actually, I was just leaving—"
The words died in your throat as he put his hand under your chin, tilting your head up with a teasing little smile. It was almost like his face softened when he held yours, his smile a bit more genuine than that strained mess you've seen the last few days.
"Oh don't be like that, darling. This one's on me after all. I miss that pretty face of yours." He tilted his head, blonde hair falling over his eyes as he looked at yours, as if analyzing every little feature. Once satisfied, he let go, humming happily, leaving you utterly confused and a little flushed, as much as you were trying to stay cold and unreadable. An air of silence settled for a moment, and only a moment.
"You've been avoiding me."
He spoke thoughtfully, just as playful as it was accusatory.
"I... I haven't—"
Still not keen on letting you finish a sentence, he cut you off.
"Now now, don't go lying to me. A good relationship is built on trust." He chided, almost scolding. His hand settled on the back of your head, his fingers absentmindedly playing with your hair as he went back to analyzing your every little micro expression.
"I've been busy." You finally spoke, the tone not having the bite you would have liked.
"...You're still upset."
He sighed, arms falling away completely as he opted to rest his head on his hand, almost pouting.
"Come on, darling, work with me..."
That was said more to himself as his eyes strayed, his pout becoming more prominent.
It was true you were upset. Livid even. Another one of his little gambles, life threatening as usual, ended with a nasty little gash right at the base of his neck. It was healing nicely at least, probably wouldn't even leave a trace, but the implication remained. Something sharp enough to cut was pressed right up against his jugular, tearing into that pristine skin of his.
His composure was faltering slightly at your silence, lips twitching into a notable frown as he shifted slightly, trying to get ever closer. You finally couldn't ignore him anymore when his arms snaked around your waist, head moving to rest on your shoulder as he looked up at you through his eyelashes.
"I'm sorry..." He practically whispered against your skin, his breath ghosting on your neck, making you shiver involuntarily.
"I know you don't like when I do things like that... You know I can't help it."
It was truly in his nature, you knew that... He had nothing to lose but his own life for so long, a meager sum in his own eyes, and it was... difficult, for him to rewire his brain to accept his life was something actually cherished by another. The purely devotional look he gave wasn't lost on you. A look that asked, kindly, for understanding, through a plea that would have died in his throat if he even thought about manifesting it.
Punishing him hardly seemed fair, but for him to still be so stubborn...
You gently brushed a few of the stray hairs out of his face, and he absentmindedly leaned into your touch, eyes fluttering.
"I know. I still don't like it." You spoke quietly, bluntly, but there were only so many ways to phrase the fact you'd rather him not greet death so openly, so familiarly.
"I've missed you..." He spoke back after a moment.
Your avoidance had left a pain much more pronounced than the little cut on his neck. An unpleasant reminder of where his weaknesses really lay. You didn't say it back, but it was obviously true.
"...I know."
He smiled slightly at that, leaning up till eye level to steal a quick kiss, his lips just grazing yours for a moment, hands on the back of your chair as his body leaned over yours. He was all of about two inches from being on top of you and showing a fair bit of restraint for someone denied of their lover touch for so long.
"Want to go back to my hotel room, darling? I'd like to make it up to you." He mumbled with a grin, close enough for you to smell his cologne, a certain palatable need in his voice. Whether it was just for your touch, away from prying eyes, or for something more than that, was left hanging in the two inches of air between you.
You hesitated, but nodded, and as soon as you did, he laced his fingers with yours, palm to palm, a certain intimacy in that action alone.
He tossed a few bills on the counter without glancing at the amount as he pulled you straight out the door, happily really to indulge in what he'd been so longing for, with the silent promise that he wouldn't let this event repeated itself.

The Spring 2025 Fanauthor Workshop is a 7-week writing course led by Betts (@bettsfic). The workshop lends a supportive space to writers who identify as fans to receive constructive feedback on fanfiction, original fiction, or creative nonfiction.
Art by @emimayooo 💖
Where & When
We meet weekly over Zoom. You can apply for one of two sessions:
Group A: Wednesdays from Apr 9 - May 21, 12-2pm ET [See what time that is in your time zone]
Group B: Mondays from Apr 7 - May 19, 6-8pm ET [See what time that is in your time zone]
What
FAW is a feedback-oriented workshop with the occasional generative session. This means that each week we read 2 pieces submitted by participants, offer written feedback, and discuss them over Zoom. You'll be able to sign up for the week you would like to workshop your own piece, which can be anything under 6k words.
There may be weeks where, in lieu of workshopping, I present external readings and writing exercises. These sessions will be dependent on the number of participants. For example, if we have 10 participants and 6 workshop weeks, that means one week will be devoted to a reading discussion and generative activity.
I developed a workshop model that focuses mostly on affirmations and positivity, as well as descriptive over prescriptive feedback, which is to say, describing one's experience of reading rather than prescribing solutions to perceived problems. We also present improvement-oriented feedback, but avoid negativity, judgment, and pedantry. Week 1 is spent going over the workshop model and how to give feedback.
About FAW
The first FAW was held in 2017 as an independent study in my MFA. I restarted it in 2022 and since then have led 11 sessions with a total of over 55 participants, about half of whom have participated in the workshop more than once.
Participation in the workshop includes entrance into the FAW community, an active Discord server where we host:
Ongoing accountability meetings during which we chat over Zoom about our projects and set goals for ourselves every other week
A monthly longform writing workshop, where writers can workshop any story between 6k and 100k words
A short story club, where we read and discuss original short form works
Birthday movie nights! We also have weekly TV show streaming and a few co-op games running
Scheduled write-ins and impromptu writing sprints
A group quarterly progress tracking sheet that accidentally turned into a micro social media platform
And there are always other things going on, like international snack exchanges, craft exchanges, support during the looming deadlines of fic exchanges, and so on
We also chat about writing and craft, offer resources, and share many, many pet photos. Or as emi likes to say, "Pay the pet tax."
In addition, participants of the workshop receive:
A one-hour consultation with me to go over your workshop feedback, come up with a plan for revision and/or publication, or anything else you’d like to discuss regarding your writing
Open enrollment in future workshops
Priority sign-ups for other generative workshops
Eligibility
Anyone over the age of 18 who considers themselves a participant of fandom and who is familiar with fanfiction may apply. A stable internet connection is also required.
Cost
The cost of the workshop is "pay what you can" with the recommended amount of $300. To be as inclusive as possible, I don't want money to be a deterrent for anyone interested in participating.
At least partial payment (or notification of nonpayment) will be requested prior to the start of workshop via PayPal, Venmo, or Wise.
Application requirements
To apply, you will need:
An informal cover letter discussing your fan history and goals as a (fan)writer (more specific instructions on submittable)
A short sample of your writing, either original work or fanfiction. This may be previously published/posted
You can apply via submittable. Applications close March 9th.
FAQ under the cut
FAQ
Are there any content restrictions to what I can workshop?
The only restriction is word count (max 6k), with the following caveats:
If you workshop a piece in a form other than prose (for example, a script), your peers may not be able to offer constructive feedback on that aspect of the work. Participants are asked only to have a familiarity with prose.
Content warnings are required for each piece (if applicable), and participants who are uncomfortable reading certain subject matter may abstain from your workshop.
What is the time commitment of the workshop?
As a participant of the workshop, you'll be asked to:
Workshop any piece of your own prose up to 6k words, which will need to be uploaded to the group folder one week before your workshop.
Read 2 pieces per week, write out your individual crit, and attend the workshop itself.
What is the timeline of the workshop?
In week 1, we go over the syllabus and do a writing exercise. Weeks 2 through 7 will be a workshop, a discussion of an external reading, or a writing activity. Prior to the start of workshop, you'll be able to sign up for the week you would like to workshop your piece.
Structure of the sessions:
Question of the day
First workshop
Short break
Second workshop
We'll go over my workshop model and the syllabus in week 1.
Do I have to participate in the Zoom meetings (camera and mic on)?
Attending the workshop itself is required, and everyone is asked to offer at least one note of positive feedback on each piece, so mics are necessary. Cameras are preferred but not required.
You can't asynchronously participate, i.e. read the pieces and offer written feedback without attending the sessions. For those who don't want to attend Zoom sessions, I plan to run an asynchronous session in summer.
Can workshop participants submit to OFIC Magazine?
Yes! Part of the reason I run the workshop is to inspire and promote the original work of fanwriters. You can follow us on tumblr @oficmag.
Who is running the workshop?
@bettsfic! In short, I lived a dreary cubicle life as a banker until I found fanfiction at 24. I loved it so much that I quit my job to get an MFA in creative writing. I loved the MFA so much that I became a writing teacher. I have some publications, awards, an agent, and 2 million words of fic on ao3. I don't have a book out yet but I'm getting there.
Currently I'm a writing coach and freelance editor. I also have a lowkey writing-related newsletter. And I've been answering writing advice asks on my blog for 10 years.
If you want an idea of the kind of writing activities I create, last summer I worked with @books on a workshop series which includes craft essays and some fun prompts.
If you're interested in my original work, my short story "Not If, When" is a good representation of my writing. For something darker, check out "Shut Up and Kill Me."
What is the workshop like?
Check out G's experience of attending the workshop. And here's some feedback from previous participants.
One final note: I'm working on updating the copy about the workshop on my website and move it over to OFIC's website. This post and Submittable has the most updated information on the workshop. If you have questions about discrepancies (or anything at all), you can shoot me an ask, DM me, or add me on Discord (I'm bettsfic there too).
