if you're talking about spittlebugs (the insect family cercopidae), i love them!! most of my favorite insects are in cicadomorpha (a clade within hemiptera, the "true bugs") - treehoppers, leafhoppers, spittlebugs, and froghoppers (also cicadas! but they aren't my favorite).
most of the insects in cicadomorpha look, well, like cicadas, but much smaller (~1cm max) and, as the name implies, they hop. i think they're super cute! they're mostly triangle- or wedge-shaped. absolutely precious!!! 10/10 would recommend an image search.
