I've seen so many Miguel X Oc/Reader/Sona's and most of them are like

"Let me run to you and rescue in your darkest time!"

meanwhile I'm over here like-

"I will not run to you to catch you as you fall, but I shall lay the bed of feathers for you to land on and comfort you as we lay side by side in our own messes. Because- while the red string of fate may not connect to us our hair laced together is just the same as you spill your heart to me."

Like don't get me wrong it's still a great interpretation! I support y'all who do it- I just find it funny I'm picking up my blorbo and going.

Because she can't fully condone the theories he's presenting knowing his grief is blocking him from seeing the bigger picture. He can't open up because of said grief and the consumption of his own fear. (Or whatever else they have planned.)

They're friends at best and enemies at worst. Since she's stuck in his universe for now with the glitches constantly fizzing their connection to her dimension anymore.

And that only makes it so much more worse for anything to really grow between them.

Because like I doubt many folk will read this- maybe there is a universe where she's married to him- maybe there it a verse where they are happy and on the same wavelength- but for her? In this universe? They aren't. He is not the man she would know in her verse and she isn't the one he would know.

They are two different worlds that have collided on accident.

The string of fate was not meant to stretch so thin so it never did, no matter how hard you try to tie knots into it. Eventually one will loosen and the connection is lost.

So maybe they will maybe they won't but no matter what they can never truly be. They will just be momentary comforts in a burning hell of their own creations.

Emma and I have been working SO diligently on his design and story over the course of the last few days ever since we saw Across The Spiderverse. We knew ealry on that we wanted to create another OC x Canon AU and I always feel so honored to get to design Emma’s characters for her. I had such a fantastic time helping bring this guy to life and our collaborations will forever be my favorite thing ever. Let’s just say that I am SO stoked to get draw more of him from now on - as well as further explore his relationship with Miguel as part of our AU.

Lea: Said I been to the year 2099- Yeah it's just not hitting the same Miguel, grabbing her by the shirt: -Starts yelling at her in Spanish- Lea: Whoa, Mama Mia Cunt.

Context: Lea just left cause she wanted to look around the city, she just fucking left and didn't tell anyone mostly cause she thought no one would care.
