Minamoto family has a cat !!
While reading chapter 114, i see this little panel where Tiara is holding a cat.
(hopefully its not a plush haha)
Tumblr media
Also i've noticed how similar this cat is to the cat Teru's holding in the Minamoto Agency AU.
Tumblr media
black tip ears and black tail as well.
Just a thought ! ★
bonus: if its the same cat as the one in Minamoto Agency Au, its a she-cat !

Teru is absolutely the type of older brother to spoil his siblings
Kou wants to see a movie? He buys tickets for opening day and makes sure to get him all the snacks he wants
Tiara wants to go to the park? He drops everything to take her there and push her on the swingset
Kou’s hungry? No cooking tonight, they’re going out to a restaurant
Tiara had a bad day at school? She gets to pick out anything she wants from Toys R Us
It gets to the point that Kou tries to cut back on asking him for things because he knows Teru will go overboard

Amane at the age of 4 saw a hole in Tsukasa's stomach. The mother also noticed that there was something wrong with her son and she also knew that her son was not behaving like he always did, he was different.
Tumblr media
and professional exorcists noticed nothing. Tsukasa is consumed by this thing and they didn't notice anything, seriously? Are these supposed to be the 'defenders'? and 'exorcists' lmao. When Tsukasa fulfilled Kunshinge's wish, instead of doing something and helping the family, knowing that there was something wrong with this kid, he was afraid to do anything He allowed this tragedy to happen knowing that his mother was right. But being Minamoto's servant and protecting the 'Minamoto Princess' is what he does best.

I get really upset when people think or depict Kou as not loving his siblings-
How can y'all say that when he let Teru help him regardless of how much of a mass or pain he would be in the kitchen-
He fr said he was making things harder but he still let him help- THAT'S SO FUCKING CUTE-

Just saw your TBHK headcanons post and saw the one about Akane being the father who stepped up for Tiara since she sees him and Teru as her parents (Literally adore the mental image btw) Do you have any other headcanons for how Akane and Tiara would interact?
Tumblr media
Omg yayyyyy yay more TBHK found family asks. Ya’ll are giving me too much to yap about, I feel spoiled. Alright onto the silliest father/daughter duo of all time, we’re about to take more liberties with fanon so everybody fasten your seatbelts
• So this headcanon happened as a result of the whole “Teru is basically raising Kou and Tiara” thing
• I feel like it’s true, their dad is absent and while most of the household work falls on Kou (a massive responsibility on its own), Teru seems to take on more of the “parenting” responsibilities. Such as training Kou and giving him guidance, plus the way he interacts with Tiara feels v much like a parent and their child
• I don’t mean to take away the sibling dynamic at all tho, there are plenty of oldest siblings out there that have had to raise their younger siblings. Being a parental figure doesn’t cancel out one’s role as a sibling
• Anyways that made me think that whoever Teru ends up dating is probably gonna end up co-parenting Tiara, especially if it turns into a long term relationship
• If their dad never gets his act together Teru will likely be the one having to raise Tiara into adulthood, I don’t think he’d let Kou take on that much responsibility (plus he likes to be involved in his siblings lives, I think he’d genuinely enjoy it)
• Since Teru and Kou are closer in age tho I don’t think the co-parenting thing applies to Kou, he’d be a regular brother-in-law (minus maybe one awkward “I’m not calling him dad” moment)
• Terukane is my main Teru ship so naturally I have to imagine Akane getting overly involved with the Minamotos
• “But what would that progression look like?” Tysm for asking, I’ve given way too much thought to this
• Tiara initially goes through a phase of not liking Akane very much, he’s way too blunt with her and she’s used to being coddled
• In return, Akane doesn’t like Tiara too much bcuz we all know he’s not above beefing with toddlers
• Since Tiara is five tho she gets over that hatred pretty quickly. All Akane has to do is, like, bring her a juice box and suddenly they’re best friends
• Akane wants to make Teru’s life a little easier bcuz he can’t help but want to take care of every person he falls for. I do believe his obsession with Aoi was unique but I also like to think it’s partially just an Akane thing, when he falls he falls hard. He locks in
• When I write Terukane I usually try to balance their canon dynamic with Akane’s obsessiveness, tho I don’t mind when some writers lean more into his yandere side for the ship. I know some shippers really hate it but I kinda like seeing various interpretations (keep in mind tho I don’t read Terukane fics often so I’m not the best authority on this lol)
• Holy Tangent, Batman! That is not what these headcanons are about. I need to yap on track
• Anyways, because Akane wants to take care of Teru he ends up babysitting Tiara a lot. This gives both the Minamoto brothers more free time, and it fulfills Akane’s need to constantly be making himself useful
• Their dynamic is one of the very imaginative, hyperactive child and the apathetic dad who adores her. He’s not overly doting like Kou and Teru are but that’s weirdly what makes Tiara attach herself to him, he’s different from most people she knows
• Oh yeah she calls him papa btw. This stems from my headcanon that she calls Teru mama, and this is where I have to reaffirm that I’m not trying to feminize him guys I just think it’s funny :(
• Basically just picture Loid and Anya from Spy x Family, that is how I imagine Akane and Tiara
• He hangs around so often that she genuinely starts to think of Teru and Akane as her dads. This indirectly strengthens their relationship bcuz like…they can’t just break up now. That would be like divorce for Tiara
• Every time they have a mild argument Teru’s like “think of Tiara :(”
• In turn, Akane starts acting more like a dad. He takes Tiara to the park and prepares her snacks when Kou is busy
• One day Tiara calls him papa in front of his parents and they have to grapple with the realization that their son has had a whole ass child for months and neither of them knew
• Akane’s dad panicked for like a full minute thinking it was a teen pregnancy before he realized that’s not really possible
• Akane would def introduce Tiara to his favorite rock bands (totally not based off me and my dad)
• Seeing Teru and Akane together actually helped Tiara understand the concept of marriage (since she doesn’t seem to understand it in canon), and that there are different types of relationships. Teru had to sit her down once and carefully explain that he and Akane aren’t married. She didn’t get it but, oh well, baby steps
• Akane introduces Tiara to people as his daughter, which results in a lot of confused looks from strangers
• When she gets older Teru becomes “dad” but Akane stays papa. She also calls him “old man” sometimes
• Since everyone seems to agree Mirai is a sister-figure to Akane, I could def see her making Tiara call her “Aunt Mirai” lmao (they would be best friends, trust)
• If someone upsets Akane or tries to hurt him, Tiara will go full lightning mode on them. Legend has it her first words were “Nah, I’d win”
• By the time Akane meets the Minamoto Father it goes down like “Who are you??” “I’m the owner of this house🤨”
• “Father?? No, you’ve been demoted to grandpa”
• Akane gives Tiara a lot of piggyback rides
• He tries to give her a lot of attention bcuz his own parents aren’t very involved in his life and he knows that can cause issues
• She likes her sandwiches cut into little shapes and Akane can accurately guess which shape she wants every time
• He can do hair really well because of Aoi and Mirai so he styles Tiara’s for her a lot
• I like the headcanon of Akane becoming a psych major (we’re twinning) so I like to imagine that when he eventually takes a lifespan development or child psych class he’s like “Teru. Teru we need to develop authoritative parenting styles. Teru we’ve been too permissive. Teru.” • I think they’d already be authoritative but shhh
• He becomes mindful of the type of attachment style Tiara has and tries to make her feel as secure as possible
• He picks up a couple parenting books
• Him and Teru would also be the type to read their Tiara LGBTQ+ children’s books. Woke parenting/j
• I think it would make both Teru and Akane happy to know they don’t have to go through with getting married and a whole adoption process for Tiara to see them as her parents. They don’t have to rush into anything or follow any standard process, they can just do their own thing and be a happy little family
• And Tiara gets to grow up with two parents who love her more than anything in the world
I’m ending it there because I could yap abt the Minamotos forever. Glad I got to spend my Terukane Girl Dads agenda again. Hope you enjoyed!!

I’ve made this post before but I can’t be bothered to find it. In what we commonly consider a ‘traditional’/patriarchal European society, the paths in life are: marriage with children (acceptable), bachelorhood (frowned upon, locked out of certain professions/roles), spinsterhood in servitude to parents (probably suffering), religious servitude. An unmarried person is a servant either of the local lord, the Lord, or the parents. The parental relationship has a built-in hierarchy of the senior parents and the underling child. All pressures push down and toward marriage as a form of (highly limited for women) freedom.
One of the few ways around this system is the sibling relationship. Sticking with a sibling can provide an avenue to independence from hierarchy via a peer relationship, a person who moves in with a married sibling is protected under the auspices of that marriage (though somewhat dependent on the sibling) and is not automatically subordinate as with aristocracy/religious orders/parents. I’m interested in the sibling relationship as a kind of lifeline or shield against the buffets of social expectation specially in a world where there is some kind of censure against unmarriage and in which marriage is seen as the final step in growing up. Siblings are the playmates of childhood, they are biological family, to remain part of s biological family unit is acceptable, to remain unmarried is not, the sibling is the last line of defense against a spouse without submitting to hierarchy and/or could be read as the last line of defense against growing up.
This isn’t coherent. I like the idea of two siblings choosing to remain close into adulthood not because they necessarily like each other that much, but because they understand the consequences of abandoning someone to social forces. Siblings as a kind of delayed maturation, a sign that something is wrong, a failed evolution, a vestigial relationship, you’re supposed to be close growing up and then split into different clans, but they have failed to do so and have closed the loop to return to childhood.

Do you think the reason why the Minamoto family sealed Hanako and considers him dangerous is because Hanako also has an entity inside him, but thanks to the sealing he no longer has the connection? I know this type of question is already quite old, but I wonder how much the Minamoto family knows about Hanako and why Teru has such an unfounded hatred for him.
The fact that a question may seem 'old' is not really old because new facts are emerging and I believe that the perception of many things is changing. This question is not old, it is still relevant until AR reveals what actually happened. My perception of this matter also took on a different point of view and confirmed some of my thoughts.
First of all Anon, why should I believe this family? From the very beginning something doesn't feel right to me and something doesn't add up. Hanako is the type of person who won't deny it and will take all the blame when he's not completely at fault, so I think there was a fight and he lost, but it wasn't like the old minamoto says. Hanako wants to be considered the worst, so this version suits him and that doesn't mean that grandma minamoto is 100% right.
Something doesn't add up and I've just felt it since the beginning of being in the fandom, but I don't know where. Maybe over time AidaIro will discover their secret or give more clues about it.
I didn't trust this family from the beginning and I'm glad that AD confirmed it. Why should I believe in the story of a person who comes from a family of liars and hypocrites who put themselves outside the law and believe that they have the right to everything and they are right, they focus on to be heroes, but in fact they are ordinary hypocrites, murderers with double standards.
I also don't understand why her words should be taken for granted when so many things are not clear, and her version does not have to agree with what Kou said, to take her words for granted… I have always been distant and it is really best to keep my distance
-
If Grandma Minamoto sealed Hanako, it means that the stamp on his cheek must have been put on him by Grandma Minamoto, right?
then how to explain it.
Tumblr media
Hanako sealed Kou's weapon with the same seal he has on his cheek, which I understand was left to him by Minamoto's grandmother.
How does Hanako use the same seals as Minamoto's grandmother to seal him?
Is this seal double-sided? Can be used against both: ghosts and the minamoto family?
Where's the point? and if that's the case, Kou should have gotten rid of the seal easily, but he couldn't break it. Only Hanako could do it.
This very spacious seal works against ghosts and exorcists and it turns out very convenient.
It's WIERD.
Another thing is Teru's behavior
He never appeared when Tsukasa was responsible for something, and he wasn't even there when Tsukasa injured him and his head was bleeding, and as soon as Amane did something, it was instantaneous. Yes, it can be explained by special hatred, but one thing makes me wonder, something that caught my attention.
Tsukasa was literally making pulp of Akane right in front of him.
Tumblr media
While the two were terrified by what they saw, he sat unmoved and was not surprised by anything. He just wonders why No.1 doesn't react, just watches and gives a monologue justifying his doing nothing by 'caring for yashiro's life' when, let's be honest, he doesn't care about her. Her life is nothing to him, but if it was Hanako he wouldn't hesitate for a moment.
Hanako is supposed to be 'dangerous' for them, but Tsukasa is 'not' anymore? seeing how powerful he is and what he does to Akane? Hello??? WHY? This could be explained by personal reasons because Kou and Teru create an opposition between the twins and their vision, but as he himself said to Kou a few chapters earlier that they cannot hesitate, he hesitated and was unfazed by anything. I don't take his lack of reaction to keeping his cool at all, it's more than just double standards and also Teru sent Kou to get rid of Hanako right after Hanako made the deal with yashiro, which means he doesn't want to let Hanako reveal his own plan that he might know about and it might involve God. It makes sense, but his actions with Tsukasa, his reaction, show me that there is something more behind it and I distrust this family even more and i think Teru knows it! and also Teru does not react even when Tsukasa admits that he is the one doing everything, and earlier Teru says that he cannot allow Amane to act to destroy yorishiros. And is it okay here? No reaction whatsoever, just pathetic thoughts.
ITS' WIERD!
Tumblr media
Kou's words at the beginning of the story, it seems to me that the grandmother repeats this very questionable story to her grandchildren to instill hatred towards Hanako and so that they will finish the job of killing Hanako, because she failed. So she said what was convenient for her, leaving out possible other facts that we don't know about like teru left out some of what his family did and told about sumire to aoi and her 'special privileges' apart from the cruelty. I believe grandma minamoto did the same.
Amane may have God within him, but what about the rest of the supernaturals at school? It turns out that each of them has some part of God in them, are they okay now for the family? I don't deny that Hanako HAD (and still have?) a plan and needed an assistant to implement it, and Grandma and Teru may know about it. The problem is that their behavior, especially Teru and her history, is very very questionable in my eyes. Did grandma just want to prevent Hanako from carrying out his plans? Possible. Hanako is the type of personality that if he decides and plans something, he will want to implement it despite obstacles.
I don't believe that Hanako was dangerous, these are just the words of a lying, hypocritical and hateful old woman who belongs to a family of murderers and liars. I don't believe her story and there is more to this story that she doesn't want to talk about because it's convenient for her. And if he was, let him show it through his memories. I see a lot of inconsistency and illogicality in their behavior, and it's full of hypocrisy and double standards. and if he was dangerous, I'll believe it when I see the flashback.
From what I can gather, they know quite a lot about him, maybe even everything? Do they know what exactly happened there? And it is also inconvenient for them, because Yugi family has already come to them once for help that they didn't receive help and maybe now they wants to hide this. Maybe they don't want the twins' case to come to light because it would show their incompetence or something?
Something just isn't right about this.

I truly think Teru being canonically Gay and him having an possible unrequited love on Aoi Akane would actually be a very interesting choice for him and also narratively wise. But also having a lot thought about it for it to be even possible to happen one day.
I've been thinking about it cause we already have Kou to be extremely implied or even canon Bisexual. And having some feelings for Mitsuba. And even if in real life having more than one lgbtq person in the same family is possible and actually most of the time, real, I never really see it depicted in animanga before outside of LGBTQ manga, even having more than one lgbtq characters is rare, It's not impossible but extremely rare.
And TBHK is described as a shonen, and even if I personally think a lot of characters of the manga are LGBTQ, I am really wondering if it is possible for Teru to be gay, it would be wonderful move for the autor but yes it's still very rare thing in manga media *thinking thinking*

can we talk about how androgynous Teru looks?
i dont know if someone will agree with me on this, but look at him 😭
Tumblr media
at the same time he looks pretty masculine, he still looks more "delicate" than Kou ? I feel like he has masculinity in femininity
