I've been thinking of a human!youtuber!au bc I have mcyt/dsmp brainrot, so here's what my paras would do if they had YouTube:

Firstly, they all play minecraft together & have a little roleplay going on (that's basically just their Canon story told horrible through a mc rp kxndnd).

ROWAN has a gaming channel & doesn't show his face very often so ppl thirst after his voice a lot lmao. He plays mostly horror games & reads scary stories.

CALYPSO, of course, writes songs & does covers. He's made intros + outros for everyone in the group :'). The fandom nearly EXPLODED when him & Rowan started dating.

CYBER also has a gaming channel, but they're LOUD, curse a lot, & play primarily minecraft unless its a collab with someone else. Them & Rowan have a series of old rpg horror games they've played together, it's very chaotic & those tend to be fan favorites.

ELLIOTT makes videos on space, astrology, and tours of museums/planetariums! So, mostly educational stuff, but her museum videos often include others from the group, so they get a bit more views.

TOBY makes videos on history, pretty similar to Puppet History on Watcher Entertainment, I think. Him & Elliott collab a lot.

JANE makes random volgs about her life, her channel is more like an online diary? Its sort of like what Jenna Marbles' channel was — you don't really know what to expect each video.

ANTHONY’S channel is also sort of random, but he consistently posts travel vlogs the most bc he's rich af lol. His videos include all of the gang the most out of everyone, so their fan base sees his channel as the 'main hub', if that makes sense? Like its the channel people go to when they want to see the whole squad together.

also to preface: fair warning, outside of hc i don’t really watch a lot of mc Content. the last singleplayer letsplays that i watched regularly were jordan captainsparklez stuff from like. MANY years ago. or aphmau’s minecraft diaries but i dropped out from that like 3 years ago, and that was story/roleplay not survival

4-5 years ago i was really into mianite, which is an smp with Lore if that’s what you like- the first season less so than the second modded season, i would say. good if you like collabs and don’t mind a lot of mayhem, though to be fair i haven’t watched the whole thing in quite some time

i also watched iskall’s pov of kingdomcraft which i liked! good older mc content and has some fun collabs. lots of building, pretty goal oriented as i recall

these probably aren’t what you were looking for (sorry anon!), but i really don’t keep up with the mcyt community like. at all. other ppl are free to chime in with their own suggestions for letsplays if they want to tho, i could use some to watch too tbh

MCD Fanmade Anime Opening Collab: REALLY INFORMAL INTEREST CHECK

do you love animated shows and Aphmau’s Minecraft Diaries? do you love listening to OP and ED songs that go hard for no reason?

I do and I always thought it would be awesome to hold an MAP for MCD in the style of a faux anime opening. but I also know this fanbase is composed of a handful of pebbles, and we need people to make a collab possible. if you’re reading this and you like the sound of that idea, vote in this poll how you feel!

When would this start?

Early this summer ideally, I'm a student right now and other people are as well, so I'll try to line it up with breaks the best I can and be pretty lenient about the deadlines

What are we using as the song?

I have in mind "Snow Fairy" by FUNKIST, the first OP of the Fairy Tail anime. I think it matches the fantasy setting and tone of the first season well. it also lends well to having a lot of still image parts, which I wanted to add because not everyone is an animator or has the time to animate a sequence, and I'd like for as many people as possible to be involved. I'd be open to other suggestions though!

How are we splitting parts?

I've divided the draft script into ~30 parts, including both animated sequences and stills, and scripted and unscripted parts. if this collab happens, I'll be making a video that breaks down the script and parts and a Google form for applying to parts. it'll be more or less a first-come-first-serve, but I may need to wrangle with the animated parts or parts with a high demand. I'll try to get everyone a part they want.
