This is a spiritual successor to my 10th anniversary art, which I have always been very proud of. It's amazing to see how far we've come!

shapeshifters are very common in Minecraft! Especially within hermits and their friends. The shapeshifters on Hermitcraft are Pearl, Gem, and Joel. They each use their power differently.

Pearl regularly shapeshifts. She uses it to help her with building and travel. Her favorite forms are a wolf, moth, and moon variant (crescent moon Pearl my beloved). She doesn’t combine any of her forms.

Gem rarely shapeshifts. She has an angler fish form for this season, but typically stays as human as possible or a deer. She doesn’t actually like her shapeshifting powers, on contrary to Pearl of Joel.

Joel is very extravagant and his powers feed his ego. He likes to cycle through forms like laundry and doesn’t have a set form. His favorites are an alien, wolverine, tanuki, and ogre. He also used these power during empires to feed into his god role(despite not truly being one).

other shapeshifters to mention are Scott, Martyn, and Lizzie (goddess who learned to shapeshift). These only exist bc I love shapeshifters and I have a lot of contradictions in specie headcannons.
