1. Metal definitely isn’t supposed to be pulling up to Tails place but hey when u gaining a lil sentience you tend to not abide by the deals your creator/dad made with someone else

2. Options for what Metal is thinking that a) giving sonic an emerald will mean he’s back to full power and then he can fight him and go back to proving he’s the real sonic or lose and know for sure if he’s not. b) Sonic is the real Sonic and the world needs Sonic so he better get him back up and moving right the heck now because how dare he give up being the only thing Metal’s ever wanted to be. Which one is it? We may never know!

3. If you think they look a little too horrified all I gotta say is hey if your friend started giving the doppleganger designed by his enemy to kill him his name as a way of giving up on his own identity and inviting himself to be replaced you’d be horrified too

4. Anyway—

when poly!ryusae tries to propose to you they legit cannot agree on a ring for the life of them because shidou wants something magnificent with a huge gem on it that’ll gather attention wherever you go, while sae wants something more traditional and elegant, something suitable for everyday wear.

so when they’re down on both of their knees, each of the rings of their choosing, the first thing they ask after “will you marry me” is “whose ring do you like more?”

the problem is you like neither of them. they’re both ugly.

your boyfriends can’t choose jewelry for shit.

shidou’s is too flashy while sae’s is too boring. that gigantic diamond on shidou’s will for sure interfere with daily tasks and sae’s legitimately looks like something from claire’s. you want to knock them both over the head for not asking you earlier what YOU wanted.

either way, they’re just relieved that you didn’t choose one of the other and take you ring shopping the day after.
