The miniature train in Setagaya Park, Tokyo, based on the D51 272 locomotive that's on display in the park. The small train used to have a steam locomotive, but it became too expensive to maintain and was changed to a battery-driven electric model.
This is the artist Chris Burden’s Metropolis II from 2011. It is on display at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) courtesy of the Nicolas Berggruen Charitable Foundation, and is located on the ground floor of the Broad building. I have posted it because this work simply brings me joy, and seems to do so for those of every age and background. If I can spread a little joy, then I am pleased to do so.
Working on a new, huge piece of terrain for mini games - 4 train cars in the middle of a heist. And obviously no train is complete without a shitton of graffiti, so...
The tender car is almost done, the engine about 30%. Wife and i have been playing nobody saves the world, hence nobody and the rat getting place of pride 😁
"Ser Kevan seldom "had a thought" that Lord Tywin had not had first."
(The thought here being "ow! A crossbow bolt!") My second take on Ser Kevan, here a little worse for wear. This ones the official mini, and I love his jowly bulldog look, I think they nailed how he looks in my minds eye. I also love his outfit, the minis don't always lean into the gaudy fashions of the books, but this one is pretty suitably stylish.
As you may have guessed from the crossbow bolt, this is one I adjusted for a little diorama scene, hence no base here. I'm happy with the paint job, the red cloak isnt perfect but I always like a mix of fabrics and metals.
