What if, when Amir got his memories back, they came back slowly and everyone in the room could see them too?

What The Two Princes Discord would give to get to hear Amir’s Season 1 inner monologue...

Maybe they had to put them in a cauldron first so they would slowly come back to him?

Everyone watching the cauldron can see his memories, inner monologue and all.

And the first memory he sees is of when they met and Amir's inner monologue is "oh no. Oh no he's hot. Oh no." on repeat.

Rupert gets to see Amir's inner gay disaster in the waterfall in full HD

Rupert: So you WERE going to kiss me but you chickened out?!?!?! Amir (who has yet to get that particular memory back): I literally have no idea what you're talking about.

Memory Amir: Huh, the thief is not as dumb as I thought. Rupert, in the room with the cauldron, to no one in particular: WHO ARE YOU CALLING DUMB-

What about what he thinks when he was following Rupert for an hour?

I think he'd be rotating between "What an idiot" and "Gosh, he's cute"

Amir, internally: Yeah keep swinging that sword around like some jungle adventuring idiot. See what you disturb. Completely ignore the game trail three feet to your left. Oh, disturbed a giant wasp did you? Yeah how you gonna handle that? Okay, did not expect him to kill it first shot. Oh crap, there's the swarm. Better see what I can do to distract… where'd he go? Wow, that's a big hole and is that singing? Oh crap! The murder plants. Well, better go save this cutie before he becomes a dried out husk. Wait, did I just think "cutie"?

Rupert: yelling at Amir about being a bully and raising his sword to Porridge Amir (internally): Oh no, oh no, oh no, he's right, I'm a jerk… but he's cute when he's mad too… Sure hope this doesn't awaken anything within me…

Amir, internally during Rupert's disaster gay moment: Oh god, he's talking to me, what do I say? Okay, did he just say beautiful? Oh okay, he's talking a LOT. No, focus Amir! Gotta get to the Hollow. I don't even know who this cute little walking disaster is! I'll tie him up and question him. That's a totally logical thing to do!

"Oh great, he's a thief. I mean, I know I've got him tied up so it's not like I can just let him go right? Oh man I hope he doesn't cry. My heart will freaking break. This is that whole feeding the stray cat problem all over again. He's just gonna follow me through these cursed woods and all the way home I bet."

"Why am I thinking that's not a bad idea?"

Amir, disaster bi, disguised as functional. Rupert, disaster gay, not hiding it. They're perfect for each other.

How about those 2 minute they were apart before the "cavern of safety"?

"Okay, you trusted him. He's gonna come back, he just had to go to the bathroom. And it's not like I want to be by him all the time or anything. He's wAY too chatty anyway. I wish he would just shut up and kiss… I MEAN keep his lips close to mine… I MEAN CLOSED. UGH!"

Rupert: oohh- look who wants to have a conversation. Amir (internally): stop being so cute, stop being so cute, it's not like I love your voice and it's like distracting me from my mission or anything dumb like that! He's such a jerk - yeah, yeah that's it, he's a jerk who clearly doesn't know how to treat a prince because he's a rugged man of the woods - NO HE'S A FILTHY THIEF Amir (out loud): Never mind.

"Oh my Merlin, is he complaining about quicksand?... Quickmud. Yeah I gotta look into that. Anyway he's probably just overreacting, no need to worry too much because of it. And I sure wouldn't mind a few minutes of him being still so I can run my hands through his soft hair and kis-- INTRUSIVE THOUGHT, THAT'S AN INTRUSIVE THOUGHT RIGHT THERE. Obviously it's an intrusive thought, there is no way that I actually mean that… Do I though? AHHH YOU KNOW WHAT MAYBE I DO LIKE THE DAMN THIEF. IT'S NOT LIKE HE'D LIKE ME BACK OR ANYTHING SO I JUST NEED TO GET. OVER. IT. Aw man I hope he didn't notice I went quiet there for a while… wait, why is he quiet? Oh my god where is he? What happened to him? Was he captured again?? Oh no. Oh nonono. WAIT THE QUICKSAND!"

What if we actually got Jamila in season 2 or 3?

Who’s Jamila you ask? Short answer: Amir’s childhood friend who was cut from the podcast. (she assumed she was going to marry Amir)

We totally should have gotten her. Her and Percy Jr teaming up to be Malkia's Heartland Stoppers.

I'm hoping Season 3 will have her.

Or just more Easterners in general.

And I really hope she isn't just there to be upset about the wedding. Like, give her more than that.

Wouldn't it be funny if Cecily got a crush on her when she showed up?

And Joan's like "wait, why do I not like this?"

Oooh. Jealous Joan?

What if she tries to get Joan to be jealous of her by dating Jamila, but Jamila's a little bit too passive aggressive and sarcastic to her liking and gives up, thinking that Joan will never like her. But really Joan is BURNING with jealousy.

Cecily and Jamila break up spectacularly, maybe even at Rumir's wedding reception. And it's not until weeks later that both of them are just happy with themselves when Joan finally admits her feelings.

It's not going to be a love triangle thingy right?

I don't think so…

The only kind of love triangle I like is the one where they all stop being dumb and then all get together. Poly-am rights!

Wait. What, what if… Joan, Jamila, and Cecily. Three flawless women falling in love with each other.

Rupert and Amir are like "GET TOGETHER ALREADY"

Rupert and Amir are the fangirls of a tv series wanting the main characters to just friggin k i s s! (but replace the tv series with Jomily)

They spend the night before their wedding plotting to get the three of them together.

Just imagine that conversation

Amir's just like "What have I gotten myself into?" while they're writing ideas down on a chalk board

Rupert is like aggressively pouring out ideas while Amir's all like "help why am I here"

Rupert: We're sitting them at the same table at the reception, obviously. We just need to move your finance guy. Amir: Don't move him to that table! He hates your silk lady.

Joan comes in unexpectedly and they flip the chalkboard over to reveal something inane like "Are Teddy Bears Better Than Security Blankets" and then Rupert launches into a prepared monologue about why both are good.

Rupert has such strong opinions on everything oh my god I love him

Rupert giving Cecily advice disguised as him shipping other people with her and she just. Doesn't. get it.

Rupert: Sometimes… you can love… two people… and that's beautiful.

Cecily: [gasp!] are you having an affair????

Rupert is just stuttering, trying to fix his mistake and Cecily is just ">:0"

Cecily: Rupeeeeee! I can't believe you would even consider - do you have any idea what kind of political repercussions this could have??? Let alone your marriage - if you even still get married - Cecily: I - I think I have to tell Amir.

Cecily: And does that mean the forest would come back if you two broke up?! You could doom both kingdoms again just to have some fling with… whoever!

Rupert: AAAAAAAAAAAA

Amir: Cecily thinks you're cheating on me.

She teams up with Joan and Jamila to look into the "affair" and in the process all three of them realize their feelings.

Rupert realizes it's working and goes to Amir like "okay, so we have to pretend I'm having an affair."

Amir's just like ?????? Rupert: It's for love.

Rupert: I'm not really - I mean, you know me and you know I'd never -  Amir: Yeah, yeah I got that, I know. Amir: But just - what?

Amir: I thought she… "shimped" us or whatever

Rupert comes up with this like intricate plan to get them together, complete with notes, and Amir's just all "??????? wHY?????"

Amir: did you have a plan like this to get us together??? Rupert: oh not at all. All my judgement at the time was just "huh, pretty boy, hope we don't die."
