I’m never not thinking about shinji this is known this is truth I think shinji and ryuki have this shared problem of being my favorite characters ever but the game theyre in sucks and is Bad so bad lol but shhhh I don’t wanna talk about that part rn I’ll get really bitchy. I’m very insecure that when I write the shinji and akihiko relationship during the 2 years separation that I’m making aki look like a fucking asshole on accident liek I’m worried my biases are skewing things cuz like okay. Main conflict is aki wants shinji to come back to sees and feels like he’s blaming himself too much for the incident with kens mom to the point of not doing ANYTHING like just wallowing in self pity. And shinji doesn’t wanna come back cuz guilt + trauma has ruined everything about sees and he doesn’t have a clue how to control his persona so he doesn’t wanna risk another casualty and he’s sick of being asked to come back to that shit and starts destroying himself yayyy. And its a very real conflict like it hurts cuz neither of them are WRONG but they’re horrible at communicating and they have so much bullshit to carry that they should t have to carry on their own but they don’t have anyone to rely on, especially not shinji. But sometimes I think like in both the canon and in fics akis perspective is shown waaay more and he’s made out to be like. Correct? Like I’m supposed to think shinji is being unreasonable or something or that he’s an asshole and it’s like. No??? I think he’s actually very reasonable like he really shouldn’t have to come back to sees it’s not the end of the world like yes, he shouldn’t be isolating himself it’s not good for him but that’s not like. A moral failing he’s literally just traumatized and suicidal and like. Of course he’s isolating! Of course he’s being secretive and hurting himself and feels at fault like he isn’t a regular persona user his persona is literally actively dangerous which would obviously translate to him as “im dangerous” and hes also literally been told all his life he’s a failure he’s literally the loner with “behavior issues” and no family no money treated as a burden by all the adults and being in sees was his one chance to be a part of something where he finally wasn’t a failure and then. He failed at that too. And he loves his friends but like, their lives aren’t the same. Mitsuru has always been rich and beautiful and smart and akihiko came from the same place but he got adopted by a nice rich family and is a star athlete and smart and well behaved and then theres shinji the drop out freak and I think that’s also what leads him to connect with strega and get the suppressants is just like. The feeling of being misunderstood by the people who SHOULD understand but they just like. Literally cannot because of their different roles in society. It’s painful! It isn’t something he wants to address but it’s undeniably there! And it’s painful for aki just like. The realization that he alone cannot move shinji he alone cannot make him happy again and theres parts of him he’ll literally never understand it’s horrible cuz they’ve always understood each other and been able to pick each other up but the world is getting too complicated and they’re both so damaged and can’t do it alone anymore and punching shadows just. Won’t fix it. They need so much love and support and therapy and cookies many cookies and shinji lives in my pocket

Okay now that I’ve gotten the bulk of that ramble out of the way let’s get cute okay. I really wanna write halloween fics rn even though it’s July like it’s actually a need and of course it’s about my favorite tsundere family trio so basically basically basically October is a horrible month for them but they and the rest of sees decide to get really into Halloween just to have something good to look forward to and I like to imagine shinji in an attempt to find a will to live gets like REALLY into sewing like hes always been able to sew just like basic stuff like he always mended clothes and made miki a stuffed animal out of old socks (it was really ugly she loved it) and he could stitch up wounds but he never really got too skilled at it. And then one day he notices koromarus costume is a little wonky and this spirals into I MUST MAKE A NEW COSTUME FOR KORO and before he knows what’s happening koro is dressed like a clown fish and a month has passed and he hasn’t tried to hurt himself once so FUCK this is now something he’s become deeply invested in. So he decides he’s gonna make Halloween costumes for Ken and (sigh) himself cuz yeah. There’s obviously gonna be a halloween party costumes are required. Ken I think would like trick or treating but also he’s like IM NOT A BABY I DONT DO THAT and I think aki and shinji would respect that but also they kinda really wanna take him trick or treating cuz a) it’s fun and they need fun memories and Ken needs to have childhood fun before he’s too old b) they didn’t really get to have much halloween fun as kids and c) candy free candy. Still undecided if they’ll go or not BUT they will at least have the party to go to and they’re all like oh noooooo (secretly very excited). So back to sewing shinji tries to engage with kens interests and with great great effort he promises Ken that they’ll dress up as his favorite characters and Ken sooo wants to act cool but he’s over the moon and the idea of shinji dressing up with him is just. Sobs I’m actually gonna cry JUST THINKING ABOUT IT STOP. So shinji gets some shitty ass discount fabrics and is gonna hand sew them but he’s starting kinda late and his hands are a lot weaker now so he’s forced to use 🙊 the sewing machine. And he is very bad. With the sewing machine but he cannot destroy it with his ax because it was a gift and he doesn’t have time to struggle with this and he wants to call fuuka for assistance but he’s a little shit who hates asking for help and also it’d ruin the surprise if she knew his costume plans obviously. So basically enter aki who walks in on this and he’s like hey did you know you can read the instruction manual for help and shinji is like FUCK YOU OF COURSE I KNOW THIS and aki is like then hwhyyy are you nOT DOING IT and so they have to take a night to figure it out (date night goals) and it’s literally so difficult cuz the instructions are total gibberish to shinji but at least he knows how sewing works while aki is the opposite he can read the manual but doesn’t know shit about threads or fabric so they have to work together it’s atrocious it’s like diffusing a bomb and then other conflicts come up aki is like. Am I getting a costume too and shinji is like lol no and aki is like but I wanna be part of this joint costume thing it sounds cute and shinji is like ….did….did you think you weren’t gonna be part of this???? And aki is like YOU NEVER DISCUSSED IT WITH ME???? So poor aki just thought he was excluded from the big costume moment cuz shinji forgot to explicitly tell him that it was a thing they’d both do cuz he just thought it was obvious and this changes EVERYTHING SHINJI so they discuss their costumes and shinji is like okay cool but I’m still not making your costume for you that’s something you gotta figure out for yourself lol and then they get the machine working and shinji makes a third costume and it’s sweet but also he does get scolded for overworking himself but it’s fiiiiine it’s literally fiiiine and Ken is happy even though the costumes are really wonky cuz he thinks he looks JUST LIKE his

Blorbo and also he honestly didn’t think shinji and aki would actually go through with dressing up with him cuz he’s just so used to empty promises and not getting good things BUT THEY FOLLOWED THROUGH and they look really dorky and stupid but they match with him and they did it for him and they look like a family and oh god im crying again hold on. Okay first of all, I'm so glad that you liked my cringe AU enough to read it like again, it's crazy that people actually indulged on whatever I made 😭😭😭😭 thank you for even taking the time to read whatever I wrote in this blog it means the world to me 🥲💗💗 Now back to the topic, like I always say I want them kids to be happy but I also want them to go through unnecessary teen angst and drama and be dead inside instead of...y'know...whatever ahem ANYWAYSS, despite this being an AU, I kinda keep at least some elements from canon like how everyone in the dorm has no healthy relationship with any of their parents (or basically orphans) so I'm afraid that everyone is kinda doomed by the narrative here lol.

Anyway just a summary of how everyone's living condition in this AU:

Kotone: Orphan. Lives with her cool but promiscuous aunt (Elizabeth)

Shinji: Orphan. Lives in a foster home with Ken. Foster parents provides only the bare bare minimum which left him to take various part time jobs just for money.

Aki: Orphan initially but somehow gets adopted by an upper middle class family.

Makoto: Surprisingly alive. Middle class family, supportive parents. Parents tried to be involved but he's in his teenage angst phase lol.

Mitsuru: Both parents alive. I have an idea in mind that both of their parents kind of despise each other and used Mitsuru to get back at each other, although Mitsu's dad is much more doting towards her. Her parents' relationship is complicated.

Yukari: Just like canon. Dad's dead. Mom dates various men just to fill in the empty gap in her heart.

Aigis: Parents alive and try their best to be involved in her life. Hippy nerdy parents, think of it like a Cady Heron situation.

Junpei: Shitty parents, deadbeat dad. Rather stay outside of his house and crash other's couches than bring at home. He doesn't deserve his parents :((

Fuuka: Asian tiger parents omg literally takes piano lesson and attends kumon as a child. They have high expectation towards her.

okay so i definitely recommend you search what ken looks like because he looks like goro (& shido) a lot (i've always thought shido had browner-yellowy eyes and ken has brown eyes, shido's goatee? is spiky and so is ken's hair (& we can assume shido had spiky hair), its just a lot of that. ken looking more like their father and goro looking like their mom is also so real.. theyre identical twins regardless cause the differences seem tiny when theyre next to eachother (theres actually a fic called the sword & the scale and it goes into them being half-siblings its whatnstarted my ideas and its so good. the latest chapter has them talking to the PTs and everyone unable to tell them apart because they keep doing everything the same) ANYWAY. ken lore time.

ok, basically in p3 .. do you remember that dude with the rogue persona i told you about whos NOT a villain? that's shinjiro aragaki. hes really important to ken lore. ok so basically his persona's rogue: 2 years before p3 takes place (takes place 2009-2010,) on october 4th, 2007, shinjiro's persona went rogue and killed ken's mom (& made their whole building collapse.) shinjiro felt bad and quit the SEES and went back to living on the streets (he was previously at an orphanage before the SEES but that was burnt down) and shinjiro keeps taking the persona suppressors (which are killing him. he starts wearing a beanie and heavy jacket bc hes cold all the time bc he cant regulate his temp anymore.) fast forward to 2009, where ken gets a persona called nemesis (greek goddess of revenge) and learns how to use .. i forgot what its called but its kinda like a pole? ykwim. anyway. he plans to kill shinjiro (bc he doesnt know it was an accident) for killing his mom and almost does it on october 4th 2009 when takaya (also rogue persona haver. villain. extremely gay for shinjiro & his fellow villain jin tbh. takaya makes me sad anyways) shows up and goes to kill ken, but shinjiro blocks it and gets shot and dies instead. sound familiar to one persona 5 boy? ken never kills again ( hes literally 11 in 2009 btw. goro turned 16 in 2014 when he killed wakaba. these kids were YOUNG. goro started working with shido when he was 15, since in nov he says its been almost 2 & a half years of working w eachother) and instead basically gets adopted by the kirijo group? idk its never explained but in p3 the kirijo group stages ken's mom death as a car accident (bc it originally happened in the dark hour) and the main makoto-ish girl is mitsuru kirijo (who is an icon and hates the group so we love her) but anyway we never really get an explanation with who ken is staying with, he just stays with the SEES? so im saying the kirijo adopted him.

anyway.. them as kids together would be ... very odd. hectic if they were deaged to after their mom died (& in the au goro sees she killed herself but then a few mins after the house gets fucking destroyed by castor/shinjiro's persona so ken never knows she killed herself. boy who doesnt know any jp/doesnt speak having to help his little brother who knows jp/speaks drag their mom & themselves out of the rubble of the house immediately after seeing his mom hang. doesnt say anything to his brother abt it 💔💔)

This storyline is mainly if Minato/Makoto dies–any differences will be in italics, signifying Minako/Hamuko differences from Akihiko’s life.

Birth up to middle school:

Akihiko was the only son, and first of two children, born to Hikari Sanada and Mamoru Sanada. He was a healthy boy, always active and barely cried--he was a wonderful child. When he was starting preschool, Miki, his younger sister, was born. Of course, Akihiko wanted to play with her over and over, but with her being so little, he couldn’t--which lead to temper tantrums, but his mom got those under control. A year and a half later, while on their way home from visiting some family friends, they got into a car accident. His parents died while he was left with Miki--Akihiko was about 7 and Miki was about 4. They were brought into a nearby orphanage, which lead them to meeting Shinjiro Aragaki.

All there were able to link up and be friends because they all lost their parents. So, they were steadfast friends and loved each other very much. Akihiko and Miki went to school, along with Shinjiro, as they left together--they basically did everything together. The only way they got separated was the fire that destroyed the orphanage, which also killed Miki. Akihiko was devastated, which lead Shinjiro to watching him for the longest time, until Akihiko got adopted by an older couple in their 30s. It took Akihiko a week or so to really warm up to the new people, seeing as they made a little shrine for Miki, so that Akihiko could still see her no matter what.

For that, he opened up to his caretakers and got back into the groove of things. He did try his hardest to keep up with Shinjiro, but it seemed that he half-heartedly try. He began to wonder if he was homeless--but, with him being busy in school and athletics, he barely had the time to think or find him. And he felt horrible because he couldn’t find any good friends like Shinjiro.

One day, Mitsuru Kirijo came up to him, while he was at Gekkoukan Middle, and talked to him about moving into the dorms with her. He, of course, talked to his family about this. Akihiko hated to leave people behind, but made sure no one was ever in the dark. So, with his family perfectly fine with this--since it’s closer to the school, it lead to him asking if Shinjiro could come live with them. Mitsuru didn’t mind and was okay with the idea--if it made Akihiko happy, she was happy, too.

After the first year of living in the dorm, all three of the original members of SEES were doing well with their Personas--that is, until the unfortunate moment with Ken Amada’s mother dying. Shinjiro went AWOL, and he only told Akihiko where he normally would be on certain days. He didn’t want to be found, not after Castor lost control like that. So, it was just Akihiko and Mitsuru in the dorms for the rest of their second year of high school. Yukari Takeba joins, making the group a bit bigger, and leads straight into what happens in Persona 3.

Post P3:

Akihiko decides to travel--doing online classes, per Mitsuru, because he could get executed for not finishing up some college at least--and explore the world, for Shinjiro’s sake. And well, he’s got the money from his parents inheritance (couldn’t get it until he was 18), and thought that traveling might help him relax a bit. After all that has happened, he started in the lower parts of Japan, going to the Philippines, Russia, Germany, Egypt, Brazil--to be honest, the poor guy has lost so many times on how many places he has been. And it was all under a year, too. But, he takes a month or two to recoup because of the bear attack in Russia. He didn’t get the clue to not fuck with the bears, and wellllll... the stupid fool got scars on his chest for it.

He comes back to Iwatodai, once Mitsuru calls him out of the blue. Of course he looks ridiculous, but is still willing to help her out, along with Aigis and Fuuka. He realizes that he was already tired of exploring the world, in that one year, that he wanted to at least explore what Japan had for him. He focused on studies, becomes a full-fledged member of the Shadow Ops, and stays in Iwatodai, finishing up an associate’s degree in criminal justice. He realizes that he might want to be a cop, with something dragging him towards the idea--perhaps his mom or dad was a cop? He had no memory of what they did, since he was so little when they died. But, he does consider the idea for a month before joining back with Mitsuru.

Ultimax + onward:

Once the whole situation in Inaba finally calms down, he listens to Kurosawa-san and actually decides on focusing back on his schooling. He gets a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and decides to enroll in the local police academy. Akihiko knows he could most definitely get in as on of Mitsuru’s own protective services, which he does do once in a blue moon, but for now--he wants to be able to focus on trying to save people who couldn’t help Ken or Shinjiro or himself out back long ago.

He becomes good friends with Chie Satonaka and Naoto Shirogane, after a year of training and learning more stuff near Inaba. He’s a cop who bounces around to other stations if they need help because of short staff or otherwise. He does bother Shinjiro weekly for his usual beef bowl nights, because he actually liked doing that when they were in high school and when they were in SEES. For now, he tries to take it easy and just explore the whole situation around Shibuya (with the Phantom Thieves) for a couple years, since the shutdowns occur. Mitsuru makes sure he is stationed there safely.

Akihiko lives a fairly normal life--working out on weekends, job in the mornings, and the occasional outing to try new food establishments. He makes sure to keep in contact with his adoptive family, because he’s so damn nice--and he gives them a little money, for all the time he was able to stay with them (like, 50,000 yen weekly) or he just helps them fix stuff up they know they can’t fix. He keeps in contact with Mitsuru Kirijo, Ken Amada, Shinjiro Argaki, and Fuuka Yamagishi. But, it’s usually the others who check up on him. As of now, he is single and is just living the bachelor life, as of now. He has thought about settling down and starting a future, but it’s really far off and not in the foreseeable future. Akihiko will bounce to wherever Mitsuru needs him, and usually the police will understand since Akihiko really can’t stand to be in one place for a long time--he’s impatient, but he’s courageous.

Sho glares down at his adoptive parent. His expression is conflicted yet still showing sparks of anger. 

“You treated me like shit, kept me from interacting with others as apart of your experiment. Yet you payed for my medical bills, and left me with all your money after you died. What the hell is your deal then?! Do you give a shit about me? Or am I really just another kid dragged in for experiments just like the rest?” 

Metallic footsteps echo within the hall of the entry way. Sho looks behind him to see mangled remains of Anti-Shadow weapons before him. 

“…that’s gonna be all you have to answer huh? Fine. You pretty much showed me the best way to get to know a person is to fight them. So let’s start bonding.” 

Yasogami Tower, Block ??

“Hey, are you awake?” 

“He’s got scratches on him..”

“Move, I have bandages…”

Naoiki’s eyes flutter open, and he’s met with several people huddled around him. Some he knows, others he doesn’t. 

“Where am I?” He asks, looking around. 

“Unfortunately, we don’t know.” A girl with long brown hair with red ribbons states. “I received a call from the owner of a Cafe a friend of mine used to work at, warning me to barricade myself indoors. But then I was attacked by…some sort of wolf. Then…I woke here.”

A fox sniffs the area, which alarms some people in the room. 

“A fox?” Naoki blinks. “Why would it be here?”

“Yip!” It looks to the crowd, dropping some leaves. 

“Is it trying to help?” 

“Well, regardless we should try to know each other, it would probably be best if we did that much.” The girl states. “I am Hifumi Togo. And you all are?” 

“Naoki Konishi…” The blond boy states, avoiding eye contact slightly.

A short black haired girl nods. “My name is Yumi Ozawa. And…what about you?” Yumi turns to the final person in the group. A young kid. 

“…Shinya…” He mumbles a bit. “My mom got a weird call too, but she thought it was just some prank. The monsters were seen on the highway chasing some motorbike. I saw it on the news but…” 

“Yip.” The fox goes to comfort Shinya. 

“…you’re kinda nice, for a weird fox.” The King smiles a bit. 

“Do you think there’s more people trapped here?” Hifumi asks, placing a hand on her cheek. 

“If there is, then they might know more about what’s going on. Hopefully…” Yumi sighs, shaking her head. 

“The Phantom Thieves will save us.” Shinya looks serious as he speaks. “I know they will!”

“Whaat? They’re just a weird group that made a fuss for a year and then vanished, why think they’d do something about this?” Naoki shakes his head. 

“No, Shinya-kun has a point. I would know…I helped their leader out.” Hifumi giggles. “But that’s all I’ll say.” 

“Wait…you know him too?!” The elementary student looks happy. “That’s awesome!”

“Seems you both have a lot in common. But have any of you taken the time to notice something? We have rope burn on our wrists. Someone tied us up.” Naoki points out. 

“How are we free then? Unless…” Hifumi and the others look to their Fox friend. 

“Yip!”

Yasogami Tower Block 1

The team is on high guard, the faint sounds of Sho’s battle can be heard below but since his request was to do this alone the team had no choice but to respect his request. Down two people now, the feeling of unease was starting to seep in. 

“What’s the read on the Persona from before Futaba?” Makoto asks, looking to her teammate. 

“It’s still weak. I think it’s coming from another floor.” 

Minato nods. “It has to be either Jin or Takaya. We know at this point that those who died can be brought back. And if Nythotelp is relying on Persona users and those with access to Anti-Shadow weapons…then..”

“He’s getting desperate.” Ryuji states, hand in his pocket. “But what I don’t get is why hold people captive still…he should know that we’re gonna come after him no matter what at this point.”

“Perhaps he has a reason for it…” Akechi states. “Wild Cards have the power that we have because of our bonds.”

“But I can’t see how anyone would affect that, all bonds we’ve formed have changed or improved the lives of those we’ve helped. Reversing a bond would be impossible.” Yu shakes his head. 

“Maybe…he’s just after the power.” Mishima states. “Think about it: I was easily able to awaken to a Persona as was Nanako. We both had bonds.”

“I think I know where you’re going…and it’s kinda making me worry about Kou and the others…. We never did find where they were…” Yosuke sighs, shaking his head. 

Persona Training Center, Warped Inaba

The banging on the doors gets rougher and rougher. The rescued links are all close together, preparing to fight.

“I don’t care if that glass was made from magic or whatever, this isn’t going to hold much longer.” Ai shakes. “We really could use back up…”

Sae sighs, nodding. “I agree, but that tower is the team’s top focus. We just have to hope they leave.”

“Yeah, at this rate that’s not gonna happen.” Iwai states bluntly. “They’re after us. And we have to make sure they don’t do shit to any of us.”

Howling can be heard all around them. This wasn’t good…

Dojima Residence, Warped Inaba

“And that takes care of that Shadow!” Marie smirks, dusting her self off as a large shadow hits the ground with a thud. “We’re doing good so far I think.”

Dojima nods. “Your..Persona right? They sure are helpful…”

“Yeah. Too bad they’re a major drain if you use them too much.” Adachi shakes his head. 

“What do you mean?” 

Marie strikes a small shadow with her bag, killing it. “Persona aren’t like a gun or any other weapon you people use. They’re like an arm or leg, using them too much leads to fatigue.”

“Seems like quite the drawback…but they’re the main thing killing the Shadows correct?” Dojima shoots a shadow as he speaks. 

“For the most part.” Adachi shrugs. 

But their short chat is soon interrupted by two mimics rising from an inky like puddle. They resemble Ken and Kanji.

“Shit! This is what that kid told me about!” Adachi quickly reloads, only to be attacked by Mimic Ken’s spear and getting badly hurt. 

“ADACHI!” Dojima runs to him as Marie attempts to fight the duo off herself. 

“Damn..these things hit harder then the others….” He’s holding his bleeding side. 

“You’re that injured? Well I can fix that…” As if on cue, rain falls despite the fog. 

“Why does this rain feel so odd? Did you do something, Marie?” Dojima asks. 

“…maybe. All that matters now is he should be fine. Now shoot these two!” 

Yasogami Tower, Block 1 

The Persona team walks carefully through out the halls, dispatching small groups of shadows with ease and minimal effort. But they soon find a staircase leading to the next floor of the block. 

“Persona reading’s getting strong guys. Whoever’s waiting above…they’re gonna ambush us as soon as we climb the stairs.” Futaba looks around her. “We need to be prepared to fight hard.”

Mianto sighs, shaking his head. “Given their Artificial Persona status, they shouldn’t be hard to fight. But I don’t expect it to be as simple as before. Our enemy must be aware.” 

“Stay on guard, everyone. No matter who we see at the top of that staircase we need to push forward.” Mitsuru orders.

Yes some people do. I think I’ve seen one or three cute (sfw) doujin which teases Shinji/Mitsuru (from a long time ago). I personally think she has more chemistry with Akihiko tbh, probably cause she spends more time with him. Shinji has more chemistry with FeMC or Akihiko (only the former I ship with tbh, any hope for the yaoi pair went out the window with PQ....not that I care about the ship before that 8U). 

I think they went with his important relationships, Ken (duh) and the two other’s to form the OG 3 SEES members. And Minato.....cause....well the movie they had more of a connection at least. 8U

Tbh with Sho it was cause Labby (basically his duality partner), Mitsuru (daughter of the company who gave him a bad time, and probs feels responsible for him as well), Aigis (similar to Labrys, also probs cause Yu isn’t there, but she is also a prime feature in the Arena/Ultimax promo art), Minato (cause Yu isn’t there, also he’s the “light messiah” to Sho’s dark). So yeah of the characters in the game, they chose who made the most sense. Btw Mitsuru just needs to adopt Sho, she’s basically Labby and Aigis’ mom, let’s give her a son too. 8V

Mitsuru: ............................

Ken: (Immediately Starts Feeling Bad) S-Sorry! I didn't mean to upset you or anything! I-I was only wondering is all-

Mitsuru: (Gently Place her Hand on top of Ken's While Giving Him a Reassuring Smile) It's okay, Ken-Kun. I'm not upset in the slightest. I was only at a lost of thought is all....(Slowly Begins to Frown a Little) Though....To answer your question....Yes. I have thought about my father recently before. But not as much as you think.

Ken: Hm? What makes you say that?

Mitsuru: Well.....I guess you could say that our relationship as father and daughter.... wasn't always the closest. But nonetheless, I still cherished him from the bottom of my heart. (Looks Down at the Floor Solemnly) I just wish he was still here with us.....

Ken: (Sadly Stares at Mitsuru For a Few Seconds Before Speaking) You know.....

Mitsuru: (Averted her Eyes From the Ground and Turn to Ken) Hm?

Ken: I used to think almost the exact same way about my mom.....And to some extent, Shinjiro-san.

Mitsuru: (Gently Squeezes the top of Ken's Hand While Giving Him a Worried Frown) Ken-Kun, you're still not blaming yourself for what happened that day, are you?

Ken: N-No! Of course not! I promise you that I'm already over it. What I'm trying to say here is that I'm thinking about those two the same way that you're thinking about Mr. Kirijo. You know, mostly about wishing they were still around and stuff. It would be a dream come true if we could see them again.

Mitsuru: I wholeheartedly agree, but....even still, I honestly don't think neither them or my father would want us to keep mourning for them any longer. We need to accept their passings and keep moving forward in our lives. It's more healthier that way after all....No matter how difficult it may be.

Ken: ('Sigh') Yeah......

'Silence'

Ken: But you know what?

Mitsuru: Hm?

Ken: (Turns to Mitsuru with a Hopeful Smile on his Face) Just because they're gone, that doesn't mean we're entirely alone in this world. We have Fuuka-san, Aegis-san, Junpei, Yukari, Akihiko-Senpai, Labrys-Chan, and all our other friends, who were by each of our sides since day one.....(Gently Grab Mitsuru's Hand with Two of his) Not only that, but we got each other as well. And as long as we have all of that and the drive to keep moving forward, then that's all it really matters in the long run. Don't you agree?

Mitsuru: (Slowly But Surely Begins to Smile Softly Towards Ken) Yes..... I... (Tears Finally Begins Fall Down From her Eyes) ('Sniff') agree to that as well, Ken-Kun....('Sniff')

Ken: (Immediately Starts Getting Worried) Senpai! A-Are you okay?

8:15 p.m. at an All You Can Eat Restaurant.......

Labrys: Damn.....That all really happened to you guys?

Kanji: ('Sigh') Yeah.......We kept getting pelted by towel baskets twice. Neither of which was any of our faults.

Teddie: ('Sigh Sadly') We tried so hard to tell them it was all a misunderstanding, but alas, they never believed us.....They even called us perverts and everything.

Labrys: That's crazy talk, 'hon. I don't think you and Kanji-Kun are perverts at all.

Ken: Yeah.....That was pretty rude of the girls to do that to you guys over a misunderstanding.... (Takes a Sip of his Drink)

Kanji: Tell me about it. The worst part of it all is that not a single one of them apologise about it the next day and onward except for Narukami's Little Cousin, Nanako. The others on the other hand, act like they forget about the whole thing and left us remembering everything.

Teddie: Hot Springs are a blessing and a curse in disguise.....

Labrys: Yeesh.....That was cold. Even for them.

Kanji: It was. (Shrugged) But it is what it is. (Chuckles Lightly) I remember being so pissed off at all of them that I actually gave the girls the silent treatment for almost an entire day.

Labrys: (Snickering) Oh shit. Seriously?

Teddie: (Giggles Softly) You guys should've seen him during the time. He was so determined about it and everything.

Kanji: Yeah I was.....'Till Rise had to go in and give that Sad Puppy Dog look on me to speak to them again.

Labrys: (Smirks Playfully) I could definitely see Rise-Chan doing somethin' like that.

Ken: You know......your Hot Spring story kinda of reminds me of the one Junpei told me a while back.

Kanji: For real?

Ken: Yeah. It all took place a few years ago where everyone in the dorm, except for me and Koromaru, went on a field trip with their classmates to the Resort Suite. I don't really know much about the entire details of what went down, but from what I heard, Mitsuru-Senpai literally froze Junpei and others frozen solid once they were spotted by her and the rest of the girls.

Kanji: SERIOUSLY?!!

Teddie: (Eyes Widened in Fear and Shock) Oh my!!!

Labrys: (Eyes Widened in Completely Shock) NO WAY!!!! Our Mitsuru-Senpai did all of that?!!!

Ken: That's what Junpei told me. He said was their punishment....Or to mom's case, it was their "Execution".

Teddie/Kanji: EXECUTION?!!!!!!!!

Labrys: Wait a minute. I-Isn't her whole "Execution" shtick suppose to be used during fights or taking out shadows?

Ken: (Nodded) Yeah. But it's also used whenever someone or something provokes her. (Shudders at the Time He Saw Mitsuru was Angry) It can be pretty terrifying if you ask me.....

Kanji: No shit......I mean, I know that lady's tough and everything, but I had no idea she would take this whole "Execution" thing to a whole new level! And also, who was this "mom" person, you mentioned a second ago?

Ken: I was......(Starts Blushing a Little) Referring to Mitsuru-Senpai......

Labrys: (Whispers into Teddie's Ear While Giggling) The kiddo think of senpai as his actual mom. It's pretty cute~

Teddie: Awwwwwwww!!~

Ken: (Blushes in Embarrassment) ANYWHO! As I was saying, this is one of the big reasons why mom-I mean...Mitsuru-Senpai is the last person anyone would want to upset. She can be pretty scary when she wants to be.....

Labrys: You know....All these Hot Springs related stories got me thinking....

Labrys: About how there's no way I'd be crazy enough to attack people in the springs just cause of misunderstanding.

Kanji: Seriously?

Labrys: Yeah. I mean....If I were ever in a situation where some guy accidentally walk in on butt naked, I would at least give him a chance to explain himself before I start doing some crazy stuff like.... Throwing some random baskets or executing them with ice powers or whatever.

Teddie: (Smiles Brightly Towards His Girlfriend) You're too kind, Labby-Chan~

Labrys: (Chuckles Lightly While She Bops On the Top of Teddie's Nose) And you're too cute for ya own good, 'hon~

Ken: Not exactly. She and others did technically raised me when I was younger. It honestly took me until recently to realize that they're like family.

Kanji: (Smiles a Little) Nice. I'm kinda happy for ya, kiddo.

Ken: (Smiles Softly) Thanks, Kanji-san. By the way, if you don't mind me asking, how's Naoto-san been doing as of late.

Kanji: Pretty good. (Starts Rubbing the Back of his Head Back and Forth While Blushing a Little) To tell you truth, we uhhh.....started dating for a while now.....

Ken: (Eyes Widened in Surprise) Seriously? That's great! Congratulations!

Kanji: Thanks. (Frowns a Little) Though, the only down side to this is that our relationship is long distance, since she started her detective career not too long ago.

Ken: Oh. I'm.....guessing that's means you're starting to miss her, huh?

Kanji: Like crazy.....I know I should be happy for her following her own dreams and all, hell, I supported her all the way, I guess I couldn't help but to miss her sometimes, ya know?

Ken: (Gives Kanji a Reassuring Smile) Hey. I know it's hard to miss someone who's close to you, from a long distance. But I'm sure you two will see each other again sometime. You just have to be a little more patient.

Kanji: (Sighs While Smiling Again) Yeah..... It's a long ass road, but.....I guess it wouldn't hurt to wait a little while longer.

Ken: (Silently Closes the Door Behind him) (Okay....This...is the last time I get my classmates talked into staying almost over the night in their visits. Still....as long as everyone else is already asleep, I might actually get out of this unscathed-)

???: (Turns on the Lights) Good Evening.....

Ken yelped and turns around to see it was none other than Mitsuru sitting next to a lamp.

Mitsuru: (Glares at Ken in a very Disappointing Matter) ...... Amanda.

Ken: (Starting to Sweat Bullets) Oh! Uhh M-Mitsuru! What a... pleasant surprise!

*Silence*

Ken: I mean.....(Chuckles Awkwardly) I did not expect you to be up this....late, you know? I mean.... granted, you're the Kirijo's Heir so that would explain your un-tiredness, am I right?

Mitsuru: You can explain everything in the morning, right now, I hereby ground you from ever setting foot off this dorm, that isn't anything school related, until further notice. Do I make myself clear?!

Ken: ('Sighs Heavily') Yes, ma'am.....

Ken: (Stops Walking and Turns Around) Ma'am?

Mitsuru: Yes. Please understand, Ken. After all these years of being here together, we practically became a family now and you mean the world to all of us. That's why I'm hard on you tonight....(Tears Fell Down in her eyes) Because I want you to be safe.

Ken: Sempai, I.....(Nodded as he held onto Mitsuru's Embrace a bit tighter) I promise I won't miss my curfew anymore. You have my word.

Mitsuru: (Smiles a little as she and Ken let go of one another) Thank you. Now, in the morning during breakfast, I want you to apologise to everyone in the table. Especially to Fuuka. She was even more worried about you than I was.

Ken: I will, ma'am.

Mitsuru: Good. Oh. And one more than.
