Going a bit further with the 'V-kun loses Aogami so Tsukuyomi fuses with him instead' theory: I don't think they just lost Aogami. I think they lost Yuzuru, too.

Without Aogami, V-kun is out of options, but Tsukuyomi isn't. Why would Tsukuyomi fuse with V-kun if he already has Yuzuru? I can only conclude that Yuzuru is somehow unavailable.

Also, I'm not the best at identifying voices, but it seems like Miyazu wants revenge on Bethel. In the first trailer, she's angry at someone for dragging her brother into danger, and in the second, she tells someone (presumably V-kun) that she's out for revenge but still doesn't want to fight them. It seems like Yuzuru is dead (or kidnapped, or whatever) and she blames Bethel, which puts her in conflict with V-kun.

i love smtv but, like nocturne, a big missing component is that for a megaten game there isnt enough 'killing your friends' vibes. the game in the beginning was like. Yeah you dont know these people that well. Walk home with them or whatever. They are kinda nice >> (the game introduces u to aogami and everyone else ceases to matter)

meanwhile in smtiv theyre like. you dont know these people well. u are training with them. u are having lunch. u are facing class conflict and your upper class besties are standing up for u. u are speaking about your dreams for the future. u are in another universe together--oh god the one you were closest to just sacrificed himself in front of u. and the other one is also dead. If u aren't neutral route u have to kill isabeau yourself. Final boss has so many sad friend erased vibes. walters scarf is visible on lucifer. its fine

So a fun AU idea came up with me and @ifellinlovewithpersona while talking about Halloween and Smtv. Basically a Halloween party AU and I HAD to make costumes ideas for the cast [Click for better quality]

V-Kun would be a vampire, Tao would dress up sort of like an angel, (but a little more fairy like) Yuzuru and Miyazu would have matching sibling costumes, (a witch/wizard that's Moon and Sun themed because if you know you know) and lastly Dazai is a ghost.

[Yeah I know it's not Halloween anymore but I don't care this was fun to do and I'm proud of it. Also I was a little busy.]

Seimei sounds insanely arrogant. I mean, if the affair with Rika happened where Douman first got his immortality and he STILL had trust in Douman by the time Heian-Kyo happened in a singularity despite having Clairvoyance. And Douman was still ALIVE alive even through modern times. You'd think he'd have permanently killed him before then but I guess nah? Is there a way to reconcile all that because that sounds nuts (or maybe that's the point) or is that too in the realm of hypotheticals.

Sakurai tends to alter the originals for the Servants she creates only for two reasons.

To integrate their stories with pre-established Nasu lore (the oni stuff from Tsukihime; the Clock Tower presence in the lives of Holmes, Helena, Jekyll, and Cagliostro; the Mozarts being one of the original Western mages; the laundry list of Nasu lore elements in Dantès's life; Attila and the Olympias being integrated in the Sefar backstory)

To make them less shitty husbands (Kasugahime accompanying Koga Saburou to Yuimankoku, Ragnar's wife order being shuffled, Yoshinaka having a total personality makeover, Takeru not marrying Miyazu after Tachibana's death, Odysseus never giving Circe a chance)

Reason number 2 has me really curious particularly about Rika and Cagliostro's Lorenza. Neither of those two were ever mentioned despite acknowledgment of stories they're part of, so my guess is that maybe Rika doesn't exist in TM. I really hope to be proven wrong though. A Sakurai take on Rika sounds fascinating.
