I literally can’t even imagine what this is like for Geoff. This poor poor man. He’s such an empathetic soul and such a sweetheart. He cried when Ray left, y’know? His employees are like his family, he treats Gavin like he’s his son, he fucking loves them, and to have this sort of shitty fucking bullshit going on with Ryan I can’t even imagine how he feels.

Something I’ve noticed that’s been really nice to see is the way Michael has stepped up into the father-figure role that Geoff left behind.

I always thought that when Geoff left, the position of “leader” would naturally fall to Ryan or Jack, since they’re both older and Ryan has two kids. But I’ve been noticing a lot recently how much sway Michael has over the group.

When Michael says, “Listen to me.” Everyone quiets down (usually) and listens to him. Gavin naturally defers to him, and so does Jeremy, but even the older crew do too. Michael has one of those voices and personalities that is just COMMANDING, and when he talks, people listen.
