ppl who act like mk:d havik wasnt a political or an anarchist character like he is in mk1 are so weird to me bc if u actually take the time to look at any of the chaosrealm dialogue/lore in mk:d there's such an explicit anti-hierarchy ideology and ethos regarding the way of chaos that's deeply embedded into their whole culture/religion. of course the version of havik that lives in a orderrealm, a fascist state, is gna be more aggressive and extreme abt his beliefs than the version that lives in what's essentially an anarchist utopia...

As someone who loves Havik and Hotaru, I thank you so much for the recent content and I also think your au sounds super cool!

Speaking of Hotaru, what are your thoughts on him? I don’t see a lot of people talking about him much

Hey thank you! I have a lot of thoughts on Hotaru hehe, some mutuals and friends have been making me get into him and play Mortal kombat: Deception, I havent finished yet, but I have a somewhat solid opinion on him now

AH, Hotaru, Hotaru, Hotaru... Eventho hes not even close to being one of the main characters form MK, I think he is one of the most interesting characters on the franchise, similar to Havik's case. He's the direct representation of his realm, a force of order, which might sound as a good thing specially comparing it with Havik, which is the direct opposite by being a representation with chaos, but then, we get that the whole situtation is not as black and white as it seems at first glance. Visually speaking, Hotaru looks... weird, in the sense of him not really looking like a bad guy, but neither a good guy, he just looks... imposing. Pretty and yet unsettling for some reason, his name is directed to be something that reflects light, it almost feels as a way to make him look less imposing, or better say, as a way to soften him, which is lowkey funny, since that kind of makes me think on angels. and angels are also beings that seem to be good, but then angels do a lot of questionable things too when you look close Speaking of questionable stuffs, Hotarus actitude is probably the most scary thing about him. He so m a n i p u la t i v e and c o n t r o l l e r And it's not only that but also terminally closed to his own ideals, which again, it's order at any cost. I do think MKD really put that clear specilly in that one part where he technically gaslights Shujinko for literally nothing and makes him get old on prison just to later tell him he was always on his side. He's so pretty, imposing, misterious, toxic and complex, and I love that. but I hate that he bullyied me when I was learning how to play as him on konquest, I spent 40min trying to do one(1) combo and he kept telling me I was wrong (I swear its not my skill issue) Traumataru real Anyways, Red flags man is good

Finally got to make that prediction picture, but unfortunately i took too long to do it so there wasn’t much to predict. Under the cut because it is informed by the supposed leak

If my numbers are right, MK11 has 37 characters including dlc including guests. So far MK1 has 28 confirmed characters including dlc including guests (excluding those that show in trailers just as kameos). The ad that shows up all the time for me on MK11 says there will be new characters too. This is my prediction:

I am considering that the characters that showed only as kameos in the trailers won’t be playable. So no Sonya, Jax, Kano, Goro, etc. I thought of including Sindel because people said they saw her in the trailer, but I think she would have shown in the Outworld trailer if she was there. Also Mileena seems ready to get the crown. I only included Havik because of the leak, because I am fully believing it for now. Shao too - at first I didn’t think he would even be playable in this possibly depowered version, but now I think he could have a bigger role. Apparently there will be no Special Forces or Black Dragon, but I wanted to hope there will be someone from the Netherrealm in here, and also I would like to see Sareena without Quan Chi around. And Nightwolf, I think he fits with the rest of the good guys

For the dlc predictions, I tried to follow what I think is the trend in the dlcs already announced. People were begging for the missing ninjas in mk11 and we know Smoke and Ermac will be there, and Rain is returning. It feels only right that Reptile will be there too. Also all three dlc characters are people that are probably not in the new timeline - Quan Chi was probably erased by Liu Kang, Ermac wouldn’t exist without Shao Kahn, and Takeda isn’t even born yet/may not even be born if Kenshi’s life is different. If Shao didn’t destroy his realm, Reptile won’t even be involved in anything. Cassie, like Takeda, isn’t born yet - and of the remaining kids, I think she is the most likely to show up. There’s no reason for Fujin not to exist in this timeline, but I think some weird things could happen with Raiden being a mortal now. I thought of putting someone from mkd or mka instead but idk I couldn’t think of how they fit. I hope I am wrong! I love seeing long forgotten characters making a comeback

I thought there were more of them, but that’s probably because the trailers show the playable characters can be used as kameos too. As I said before, I believe the leak and it says they plan to include everyone, and that’s why I have no predictions for them. The ad I’m seeing also says there will be kameo characters as dlc so the list is gonna get bigger. I love how everyone shows up wearing their original costumes in the trailers, it is so cool to see Sektor and Cyrax in their silly original cyber forms in hd
