i'm looking into presidential candidates for 2024, since the primaries are going to be here in what, like, 90 days? de la Cruz and Garcia are running with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which has a somewhat disagreeable and sometimes cult-like reputation, but I can't find a connection between the actions of relevant branches/leaders (linked below) and these candidates.

the platform these two are running on is. a breath of fresh air, compared to the rest of the dinosaurs running in '24. HOWEVER they are so confusingly bad at campaigning on social media, which should absolutely be their strong suit???? like. they just got a tiktok. idk man. wanted to ask y'alls thoughts and raise some Awareness <3

It’s wild to me that some of you have entire discourse accounts dedicated to shipping hate & over analyzing shipping between the anime, manga, & light novels to the point of making harassment campaigns against the authors/writers of the side stories. Yet y’all don’t send the same hate towards Ikemoto & his highly suspect ass art style with the way he draws some of these kids.

Today was the last DND session for a three-year campaign and I am big sad :(

One of the players brought whiskey for a last toast, which was very kind of them. I had never had whiskey before. Turns out I do not like whiskey. Unsurprising.

Hi!

So as you have probably noticed, I haven't been super active as of late. A lot has happened. Jobs have come and gone, a divorce ripped up family related matters, etc. Etc., but that isn't actually why I'm coming to you today. As much as I probably need money for personal matters, I am slowly getting help worked out through a disability accomodations service and I think I will be able to handle things once it all sets in motion.

However, this disability accomodations service has also recommended me something I hadn't considered before. After doing a lot of research, I have realized a service dog would be an incredible asset to my everyday life and allow me the best possible chance at being able to meet my own needs. Service Dog training is...very expensive, though, so I now have this to ask of you: by summer of 2024, I want to try to get this donation campaign up to it's goal of $10,500, which will be enough to cover both training and adoption costs for making sure I can provide a service dog a good home, and he can provide me a better life in turn.

If you can, share this around! Throw it wherever! Drop a dollar or two if you can, and if you can't, well. Even just listening in and hearing me out helps a lot. I want to get back to making art here and doing commissions, but I won't be able to do that until I can take some strain off my joints and start living again, and this is basically our best bet. Let's hope this goes somewhere. 🐕‍🦺

DeSantis definitely made the right choice imo. pulling out well before Trump had a chance to beat him in his home state leaves a career path open for him, such that he can continue to build political momentum (which he would’ve lost had he not run for President this time around) and try again in 2028 if he wants. and pulling out so early demonstrated self-awareness and a care for his donors.
