hello! i saw a post that some people apparently have used ai to "finish" wips that have been "left too long"... i don't think those people really care about blanket permission (tho i wouldn't call their output "transformative work") but it did come up on the post, so i thought maybe i should ask for clarification? because i personally understood that authors give permission under the assumption that a person would make a thing based on their thing, so i don't know if this should be a further disclaimer (like the goodreads thing) or if it should be taken for granted..

(not to mention that this isn't fic of a fic, its literally finishing someone's writing)

No, you should never do this. Author's put a lot into writing those works, using an A.I to finish them would never be the same as them finishing the fic. An A.I can only "add" from what it knows from scrubbing works that people do not consent to.

Do not use A.I to finish fics that authors abandoned or haven't finished. That is super disrespectful to them.

I understand wanting to see a fic finished and wanting to know the outcome but doing it with A.I would never fulfill that for you. It's merely guessing and adding from multiple different things/works that it's stolen from and might not even make sense. It doesn't know what direction the author was going in, it doesn't know the twists and turns the author was going to add, it doesn't know anything about the author.

An A.I generated fic is Completely Different from a fan-made art or fic based off your work. It's Completely Different than someone asking to finish your work themselves.

A.I is not a "cool way to finish unfinished fics" .

Please don't use A.I on fics just because you are curious about the ending.

It will never be the same as actual human writing. And it is super disrespectful to authors who put time and care into their work.

Sorry if this comes off annoyed, I just really don't like this whole A.I writing fanfic thing lol

Vessels are chosen, and often don't volunteer, so this particular soul was rather surprised to end up a Divine Spirit. However, she's willing to step out into the world and give it 110% to represent Lord Ganesha! Do your best~!

…This Ganesha greatly enjoys living the slow life, not having to worry about combat, danger, or fighting-- however, as a vessel for a god that also represents forward progress and overcoming obstacles, she can’t sit and bide her time forever (despite REALLY wanting to). Finding out when to rest and when to strike… perhaps that’s a lesson that both you and this god’s vessel can learn together.

Is touko really immortal? For what i have read of her puppets, they are more like clones she can back up her latest memories, but the soul is different. Its pretty much evil scientist back up body but with magic and only true magic like heavens feel can do the soul transfer, isnt? Would it not mean that the original Touko is years dead by mahoyo and all other touko's is simply are very well made automatas that had some really good a.i.?

Touko is immortal in the only way that really matters to her, perfect and without decay.

Every single mage that has tried to achieve immortality in some form experiences decay. Zouken is a bug lich and a husk of his former self, Roa's soul and powers grow weaker with every incarnation and is why he targeted Ciel despite her not being rich or socially powerful, because her natural aptitude made up for the power he lost over the centuries. It's hinted at that that the Cardinal that TsukiRe's Mario is the son of is actually the Cardinal himself, growing backwards and becoming younger and younger for trying to mess with immortality using Roa's notes.

Touko however, is able to keep dying and living over and over again without degeneration of her soul, strength, or magecraft aptitude. That's because of her method.

You know the teleporter problem right? If there's a teleporter that breaks you down into atoms, sends the atoms to the exit, then rebuilds you there with everything intact, did you actually die and just get cloned, or is it really still you? For Touko, the answer is "If it looks like me and acts like me and has my memories and is indistinguishable from me, it's literally me lol"

Now the thing is, the soul is very much a thing that literally exists in the Nasuverse, AND that magic circuits are not tied to a body, but to the soul itself. That Touko's bodies are able to use her powers imply that they're not robots with literally perfect AI, her puppet bodies are so perfect that they have the unique soul of the person called Aozaki Touko, and even inherit the will and memories of the last body.

Indistinguishable from the original, in every way that matters including the soul, except now Touko can mod herself like hiding demons inside her body, or have one body be kitted out for combat like a Super Touko Battle Unit like Nasu jokingly suggested one time.

Don't think too hard about how that messes with the lore and makes the Heaven's Feel True Magic or Roa's slowly decaying soul parasitism look very sad in comparison (there's a reason why Rin and Sakura had to turn to Touko for help with moving Shirou to a proper body). Breaking the rules for shits and giggles is what the Aozakis do.

About: Stanley is the anti-villain and protagonist of Greenio's Super Mario 64: CLASSIFIED series; a series of videos based on the "Every Copy of Super Mario 64 is Personalized" creepypasta. He is the second opponent of the song "Promotion".

Unlike other interpretations of personalization A.I. from the original story, Stanley is a cynical, suicidally depressed intelligence acutely aware that he is being used to harm humans with a power that he cannot control. Hello! You may know me from my main blog @chaoticcutiewhirl but this blog can be basically seen as a sort of ad. Before you Scroll, let me explain. Portal New Age of Testing is an RP server, me and my friend Fludd worked hard on, there are so many plans such as adding game elements to the RP and trying to create a world set after Portal 2 that will eventually touch upon Half-life. I will be planning to post a couple of RP snippets through my time here, as possible ideas of what you are getting into, and yes, I will mark it when it is other Writers other than me on the RP which will be almost always.  If you see this and think RP is childish, well you are kind of right, only thing is, that RP is also played as a game as well as a possibility to get better at writing. Do you want to better thrink of how to write internal dialogue, boom you have testing and having your character try to figure out what to do. Do you want to test a character idea for something you’re writing? Well as long as it fits within canon, test them in RP. Do you just want to find possible online writing friends? Well this server can also have your back.
