Hey, remember the Ralph Breaks the Internet craze of 2018? What a time to be alive! Disney's film about What If The eBay Was A Place was an instant hit, due to the fact that everyone knows the Internet, and everyone wants to see a movie about it! You couldn't stop hearing about it! No wonder it won the Academy Award for best animated film! I think it beat out some movie about spiders, or something...?

Kids today might not remember, because 2018 was so long ago. They're too obsessed with their new age sexymen, like Raymond and the big balls Dwarf. But this movie wouldnt've been the cultural phenomenon it was without one character taking the world by storm: a certain J.P. Spamley!

The Internet fell in love with Spamley at first sight, flooding social media with memes and fan art about the loveable green prick. He rose to the highest ranks of the Tumblr Sex Man for a good while! You couldn't scroll for a few minutes without seeing his catchphrase, "Now's your chance to get rich playing video games!"

What kind of a megacorporation would Gisnep be if it didn't capitalize on Spamley's popularity? So they held a special Spamley Sweepstakes event on November 2019, allowing fans to donate money in honor of Spankley himself! All proceeds would go to Bob Iger and Baby Yoda, and if that's not wholesome, I don't know what is. Those who entered even had a chance of winning WILD prizes, like:

See him in theatres! This is what Disney told us all to do, and we listened! Little did we know they were doing this to hide a dark secret! If you buy the Blu-ray version of the movie, you can actually manipulate the Scene Select to watch the movie out of order and make some... strange things happen. You can look up a walkthrough online, but the gist of it is making Vanelope kill all the Disney Princesses. Especially Merida. And when you do, you unlock a weird alternate ending...

Spamley NEO is the secret true main antagonist of the film, and he wants to take over Oh My Disney to spread spam and advertisements! No! Not Oh My Disney! Please, for the love of God, NOT OH MY DISNEY!! You have to kill him. You have to destroy your Blu-ray copy of Ralph Breaks the Internet now. I hope you're proud of yourself.

To be clear, I'm not going anywhere. I love this community, and although I'm disappointed seeing how certain things have been handled, I still believe in the objective of QSMP: uniting communities and people from all around the world and breaking down language barriers.

Regardless of what happens next, or whether people choose to step away from the series or not, QSMP gave many content creators and their communities a platform to meet other people and make those first cross-cultural connections and friendships. The positive ripple-effects from that aren't going away anytime soon.

Hey, mod. What's your New Year's resolution?

I tend not to do things like New Year's resolutions, for multiple reasons.

It's hard to explain precisely, but the new year is no more special than any other day for goal-setting. Instead of viewing life on a yearly basis, I set smaller markers, like months or even days. This combats my tendency to be "stuck" waiting for something. Like when you have an appointment later in the day, and can't seem to get anything done beforehand, because you're waiting for that appointment. It's like that, but on a larger scale. If New Year's Day is the "goal-setting" day, if I had a goal I wanted to achieve on any other day, it would be easy to excuse it and say that it'll have to wait for the new year.

On top of that, for me, year-long commitments are hard to upkeep. Making a single mistake is upsetting, and it makes me feel like I've failed as a whole. I find it easier to ease into new habits and lifestyle changes, rather than diving straight in. If I dive in head first, it's harder to stick to the habit, or the goal, and go right back to the way things were beforehand.

For me, making life changes isn't something I start on a single day and must stick to forever. It's subtle, and it's a long process, but I find that new habits tend to stick around longer this way. -Mod Doe <3

HLVRAI Maps, Models, Fonts, Colors, and Assets!

Hi folks! I created a list of a bunch of different assets I think HLVRAI fans will find really useful! It lists character fonts and colors, maps, models for both SFM and Gmod, and random assets that I've used myself in fanart!

I've made the list into both a Google Doc and a Steam Guide! Feel free to post the Steam Guide all over to people who ask, since I hope that it helps as many people as possible! The more sites it's on, the higher on the Google search results it'll be! I spent a long while working on this and it's still being updated as HL2VRAI gets closer to release.

The reason why it took me so long to release it was because the mesh itself kept breaking apart during any type of movement. But, after working on it a little longer, it finally decided to cooperate.
