I was initially going to post these poses in Early Access for Patreons, but then I decided they were too "Christmasy" and I needed to post them as my Christmas gift to everyone... I hope you had an amazing 24 night and that the man with the red hat has brought you many gifts.

I also hope you enjoy these family & friends' portrait poses that I have made with a lot of love. They are poses that can be adaptable, some of 3 can be used for 2 sims, 4 for 3, 2 and even 1 sim and so on, so use your imagination and have fun with them.

3 to 2 traits project: Hobby Channel likeness by trait.

Merry Christmas everyone, here is a gift for you. The final part of my tv-based trait mods. This is an edit of the original 7 hobby channels by Sim of Manu with added trait checks. I have edited the like value logic of this mod to check for traits. The rest of the mod is there too untouched. I will just be providing the mod though, the folder structure and broadcast file you'll have to get from the Mod the Sims page. The mod is pretty great on its own, without traits I mainly started this because I wanted my technophobes to stop watching TV.

Step 1: on the original post download the mod with or without movie files (your preference)

Step 2: install broadcast.ini and the folders according to instructions

Step 3: Put my Hobby Channel Traits .package files into a section of your downloads folder instead of the original 7 channels .package files to have traits affect how much the sims love the channel.

Remember this only affects how long a sim will stay and watch before leaving the room or turning off the tv/change the channel. It doesn't necessarily dictate what they watch.

Got spoiled twice in casual browsing this afternoon, so decided to go ahead and play through the epilogue on my original Tavish save set so I'd at least get the comfort of seeing the big stuff for the first time on my own. (Thanks to @eponymous-rose for keeping me company despite spoilers!)

I am honestly SO HAPPY with 99% of the epilogue! Everything with Wyll, Karlach, Jaheira, Halsin....if I keep going I'm just going to name all the characters but ESPECIALLY WYLL AND KARLACH. Oh my gosh, the hints towards finding a forge in the Hells! Wyll's eye! His armor looks so unbelievably dumb but I guess when you're living hand to mouth in Avernus you make what you can get. I bet it's not as good as that Helldusk armor I had him in, but oh well.

Tara was there! We got to talk to Tara! And tell everyone Astarion & Tavish were dating! And so many people wanted to talk about what we were doing and what we were up to--ahh, I loved it. I will say I cackled like a loon at the idea of Tav giving a lecture at Blackstar Academy or whatever it is and Astarion sitting at Gale's desk kicking up his feet and knocking over all his desk decorations.

Scratch got new animations! Throwing the astral prism as a fetch object was absolutely inspired, and the little animation set where he just sits down and gnaws on it and throw it around--so unbelievably cute. And he sleeps! He sleeps on its side and it's so STINKIN cute! And the owlbear going to live with Shadowheart--I'm cryyyyying, I'm so happy for her and her cottage and her hoard of animals and her million flowers I'm sure are there.

And even the little QoL things like having a chest full of clothes and dye! So thoughtful and nice! I would have killed that halfling for a potion of animal speaking, though - I'll drink one before the Netherbrain next time to make sure it carries over.

The only teensy weensy tiny itty bitty complaint I have is that I wanted to be able to kiss Astarion at this party. Just once! And I wanted him to go out and be merry with everybody! I'll accept that he's feeling skulky and be satisfied immensely with my hugs, but Tavish on the new run hasn't gotten to Moonrise yet, so I'm starving for a lack of kisses here, augh.

I loved every word Withers said. I loved every second/third/fourth round of dialogue for all the companions. Jergal is such a dang bro and he seemed so enthusiastic to get to hang with the fam. Bless!

I do wonder if it's possible to try to kill people at this party - there were certainly enough death-causing implements and scrolls floating around!

And then the END CREDITS?????????????? Raphael ranting about THE CROWN OF KARSUS?????????????? This does explain why Gale made a point of saying it had gone back to Mystra when we most deffo left that sucker in the river, but HELLS-RELATED DLC???? I THOUGHT KARLACH AND WYLL WERE JUST LEAVING THEIR FATES OPEN-ENDED AND THEN ACTUALLY JK WE MIGHT BE GOING THERE??????????????????

Surely this is a promise of upcoming DLC, surely. I have no idea if they intend this to be paid or free (honestly I think it should be paid) but either way I'll throw every dollar I have at them if and when it comes out. How is Raphael alive. How is Mystra going to keep the crown from him. How are we going to get the gang back together. What does Zariel's area look like!! Will we get to go past level 12!! How is Raphael ALIVE!!

I honestly just had the biggest grin on my face the entire time. Every conversation, every hug, every gesture. What a complete delight, and I can't believe we get it for free.

(Sidenote: I was also beyond overjoyed that this patch also fixed the Astarion epilogue, the broken scars cutscene, and apparently the kisses. Again, Tavish hasn't gotten to at-will kisses yet, and I'm DYING.)

(Sidesidenote: I couldn't get any of my first game saves to load after a certain point [turned out to be due to an old mod I'd uninstalled] and troubleshooting that to get the saves to work again was honestly really fun, ahh.)

Welcome all to the official Playcare Awareness blog! Unfamiliar with the prequel ? Go to the main @lavendersartistry (specifically here) for intel!

So what is Playcare Awareness you may ask? This particular prequel is the past of Matron in the Playhouse storyline (a technical “fix-it” AU for Chapter 3). This prequel delves into the lives of Playtime Co. and the Bigger Bodies Initiative toys before the Hour of Joy. This means that the AU will be diving into the dark topics the story has.

Despite the Deep Sleep chapter being mainly focused, other chapters are emphasized as well and the characters. This universe adds context to theories of certain parts of the original story (Ollie’s identity for example).

The prequel is also meant to introduce certain fan characters that are important to the storyline of Matron in the Playhouse. There will also be cameos of a certain Angel that is also important to the story.

Disclaimer: This AU has two types of Smiiling Critters -> “OG” & “Spares”

"Spares" in this AU are able to age while the "OG" are known to be preteens-teens. "Spares" and "OG" co-exist together!

Synopsis on the Prequel:

It is 1991, the date of when the Smiling Critters are made. At first, they don't understand where they are and why. Elliot tells them: "Meeting the merry children of the world is your dream, isn't it? To educate them, to bring them smiles? Now you are here, my friends. Now you can bring that light and joy as you are now here." And the Smiling Critters listen to him. Each Critter is assigned to a specific scientist, that scientist acting as a guardian to them. They are also assigned special jobs with the Playcare officials, assisting whenever they can. They believe this is the way, the way to bring the signature smile to children. But it doesn't stay long. One of the "spares" discover about the initiative. They discover what they do to bring them and their friends to the world, and what they do to "heretics". They warn their friends, confront their "guardians". But they are met with punishments, forced to stay silent and abide by the rules. As CatNap comes to Playcare, things get worse. And as the years pass, all who had hurt innocents will pay. As CatNap says: "The Prototype will save us." But is that what the others want for what's to come?

Little Stratford - custom shopping district for Veronaville

Little Stratford is home to many businesses, newcomers and established merchants alike. How is life in this little community going to continue?

Have you ever wanted more Shakespearean Sims for your Veronaville and/or a shopping district that’d fit Veronaville’s theme? Well, I wanted the same thing, which is why I sat down and created this little suburb so you can enjoy more Shakespeare-inspired families in your neighborhood!

Features:

9 households inspired by Shakespeare’s plays The Merchant of Venice, The Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, The Merry Wives of Windsor and The Winter's Tale.  There are 22 playable Sims in total (plus one cat). There are also three deceased NPCs that are resurrectable and have correct memories.

8 business lots - 6 owned by some of the families who live in this subhood, 2 unowned. There is a general store, a pet shop, clothing store, a restaurant, a bookstore, a salon and spa (which works as a venue), a bakery and a furniture store.

The neighborhood name when you download it is BLST so make sure you don’t already have a subhood by that name.

The hood is built on the Riverblossom Hills template so you shouldn’t need a camera mod to view the lots.

Hello everyone!!! I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas today!!!

Today I'm here to tell you that my lovely friend @Yrandsims and I made a small collab to celebrate Christmas this year and here you have my part on it.

The collaboration consisted of a little advent calendar, where 24 simmers + 1 had to do something that came out of their creativity with a prompt chosen at random. That +1 is the daughter of Yrandsims that has made all the lovely drawings that were representing the objects choosen each day. She is going to end the collab tomorrow with a special ilustration on Yrandsims' twitter (here).

My turn was today, 24th, and it was "Christmas Elves" so I bring a funny posepack for little Christmas elves, or maybe, some naughty kids, plus a few more for a good boy doing their letter to Santa with help of her mother (or father).

I do have many characters besides the ones I talk about, so here's a few of them at least, most don't have names but eventually will. and writing a bit about each of them turned out longer than I expected...

Sings-of-Dreams, the argonian... mage probably. worked many jobs in Windhelm, one day decided to swim over to Winterhold. she's not very developed but she does have a name courtesy of one deleted npc that was going to be servant of the Cruel-Seas

bosmer mercenary that worked for the Telvanni, at least during Morrowind and up to the Red Year. don't know if I'll keep her like this but it's the first idea I had for why a girl from Valenwood is in Morrowind. tangentially related to Merry as her uhh sister in law

prisoner from the intro of Oblivion... wanted to take revenge on Llether for failing them as a lawyer but it all turned out well and they dropped the amulet on him instead because they couldn't pawn it off. probably in the Thieves Guild, idk if they're involved further in the main quest, it would be cool if these two reunited

altmer-breton shipwright and family in Auridon. nothing much going on here besides that yet, I wanted to write in this setting

altmer sailor and assassin, I played a few Morrowind mods with him, thus the very interesting occupations. his name in game is Oleander, he's kind of a joke, he has very bad luck which makes him a good assassin by accident. may be related to the Auridon family, he's originally from Summerset, just stuck in Morrowind

dunmer-orsimer rogue, she's just a little rapscallion who I played the Camonna Tong mod with, and thus her story is incompatible with the other ocs but I can make it work. her name in game was Dushka. bit of a joke character too, she's way too strong for what her lore suggests, maybe she wields some sorta magical artifact

Nerevarine-Sheogorath and I must say, I was trying to figure out what to do with my least favorite main quests, and this idea was born... I know nothing about the character but their ultimate fate. maybe will be an argonian since I love them and want more ocs... interesting lore to explore wrt their soul's connection to the Hist?

Brand-Shei's family, Llether's family etc I haven't done much yet. I'd like to have more characters for each faction I find interesting, but that's for after I'm done with these. may add another Oblivion character that's more typically hero-like, maybe mages' guild idk

So this was an experimental piece. I actually tried drawing over a drawing in SAI, not tracing right over it or anything.  [Like with my main art, I traditionally draw it and then zoom in so much, I trace right over the line. This one I had the drawing open and the opacity super low so I can just use it as basically a base to practice. I think it turned out pretty well.]
