The 2025 Sonic Pride Week prompts are here!🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈✨

Running from June 23rd through June 27th, Sonic Pride Week 2025 will include the following prompts:

Day One: Realization

Day Two: Inspired

Day Three: Friendship

Day Four: Confession

Day Five: Celebration

As well as three alternative prompts, which you may switch out or combine with any of the prompts listed above:

These alternative prompts are provided to be simpler ideas to work with! "Long time no see" is whatever that quote evokes within you, but we like to view it as akin to introducing your new self / coming out. 💫

Event Guidelines

Your creations MUST be focused on one or more Sonic characters. OCs are welcome too, so long as they are Sonic OCs.

Include the appropriate day/prompt in your post. (ex. Day 2: Inspired)

You may draw for this event, write for it, or do whatever else you want, really! Any type of media is welcome as long as it is of your own creation. (No AI art)

Please do not create suggestive/NSFW, incest/pedophilia, gore, or otherwise graphic content for our event. We want to keep this as accessible as possible and focus on feel-good media for all ages!

There is no restrictions on what your creations must be about, as long as its celebrating your pride or identity in some way! There is also no limit on how much you may create.

There are no restrictions on who may participate and what platform. However, we will only be able to reblog works via tumblr. Make sure to mention @sonicpridecorner and use the #sonicpride2025 and #sonicprideweek tags so we do not miss your post!

We are just three days away from the posting period of the first annual Sonic the Hedgehog Big Bang!

The posting period will begin on Friday, June 21st, continue on Saturday, June 22, and culminate with Sonic’s birthday on Sunday, June 23!

As our artists and writers work to add the finishing touches on their pieces, we’ve compiled some previews to show off just a taste of what this Sonic-filled Extravaganza has in store for us! I'm lowkey shocked this blog hasnt had any confessions sent/posted. But I've got one for Knuckles.

Ever since I was a little girl I was drawn to this dude. It went beyond a usual crush. I was going through alot at home and had no support(I'm better now dw) so to see a guy enduring something similar and being seen as the Cool One TM made something click. I wanted to be like Knuckles as much as humanly possible without making it obvious. Fast forward some odd years later and I have better self esteem, I have more friends, longer hair, a slightly deeper voice... And to this day no one found out.

What we do ✨

The Sonic Pride Corner is a project created to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community within the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom! We will be creating queer StH art as well as reblogging it from other creators. We're focused on spreading positivity, being a welcoming and supportive space for queer sonic fans, and providing LGBTQIA+ resources.

The mods of this blog are a group of LGBTQIA+ Sonic fans and artists who enjoy seeing ourselves and our community reflected in the characters we love! We are choosing to keep our real identities anonymous, but you can find the list of all of our mod aliases here!

Blog Events ✨

In June, we will have Pride Month requests! You will be able to request any Sonic the Hedgehog character(s) you'd like, along with one or more LGBTQIA+ headcanons you'd like to see them drawn with! You may also request ships for us to draw, but please specify that you want them to be depicted as a ship (you may also specify romantic or QPR if you'd like) and include LGBTQIA+ headcanons for any characters involved! Examples of requests we'd be happy to draw:

"Can you draw Sonic with a trans flag scarf and an aroace pin?"

"Could you please draw Amy in lesbian flag colors?"

"May I see Knuckles x Shadow, with them holding a bi flag together?"

We are also running a Sonic Pride Week from June 23-27! You can find more information on that event here!

We may do additional requests and/or plan events outside of the month of June, but this is not yet set in stone. We will make an announcement post if we decide to do so, so stay tuned!

🔥STH Big Bang 2024 Collaborations have begun!💎

We have 289 participants split between 77 groups plus an additional 16 solo beta readers for a total of 305 participants! Right now artists and writers are getting to know each other in their individual groups and determining plans for their collaboration. Additionally, now is the time writers may start requesting beta readers for their works.

So far there has been a lot of great idea-crafting, and we’re so excited to see what the writers will have for the first check-in on March 31st! Until then, everyone!
